I took the dress home, then found out the event I had been planning to wear it to was canceled. The following Friday I went back to the store to return it. No one was there, despite the signage and the website saying the store should be open. I called the number on the website and a different number on the front door asking when their hours were. Didn't hear back. Okay, fine. I sent them an email. Never heard back. I went back to the store the following Sunday. They're closed despite the signage, again. So finally on May 16th I bring the dress down there a third time, on a Saturday this time, and they're open. They explained that they don't usually do returns, but that they'd allow me to make a return this time, in exchange for a gift certificate, but it would take a few days to process. They wrote down my email, phone number, physical address, and said they would get back to me by the following Tuesday at the latest. I also left the dress with them, which now I see was a stupid move. It's June 2nd! I've called them! I've emailed them! I've physically gone down there, and they were, surprise, closed when they said they would be open! They have obviously not responded to anything. So: I don't have a dress. They have my $200. Tami helped me out on my last visit and she was such a sweetheart! She not only helped me out with picking out dresses, but we talked history, travel, architecture, vintage - everything! She also gave me the sweetest hug and wished me safe travels on my way out - I felt like i was leaving behind a friend even though we had just met. I love genuine connections and people like her.
