Best burger in Hereford! They also have the best ice for their drinks. Never disappointed when I come in to eat. One of those hole in the walls that make little towns great. It isn't McDonalds so if you want an instant burger that was made 30 mins earlier this isn't the place for you. Everything is made per order from what I can tell. read more

Called in an order for a chicken dinner and a single cheeseburger. I drove up to the window and paid for my order. When I gave her the money I noticed her hands were dirty, I stayed at the window watching the other 2 ladies cook my order as a customer approached the front window and placed an order. The cashier took his money and gave him his change and prepared my drink and set it by the window and put the lid on it. I was able to pay more attention to her hands, she had orange nail polish that was chipping off and her nails had dirt underneath and her hands looked filthy. I was going to tell her to never mind on the coke cuz of her dirty hands, but I opted to leave it alone and just wash the outside of the cup and remove the lid when I got home. When my food was done, one of the ladies put my chicken dinner in a styrofoam takeout plate and closed it and told the cashier my food was ready. The cashier with her filthy hands opened the chicken dinner ruffles thru it picking up my toast and even pulled a piece of chicken and threw it in the trash, guess they gave me one too many and proceeded to give me the order. I said I don't want it anymore cuz she touched my food with her dirty filthy hands and asked for my money back. She argued that she had to inspect it and I said that was fine but not with her filthy hands. She argued she hadn't touched it, but I saw her put her hand in and moving the chicken pieces and fries while she held the toast with the other. She did give me my money back, but had I not been at the window, I would have eaten my food handled by her filthy hands. Disgusting! Don't know if the food is still as good as before, since it got new owners, new staff. Eat at your own risk. read more

Headed home to Fredericksburg Tx from Colorado and found this wonderful blast from the past hamburger stand. So delicious hot off the grill made to order. Fries were outstanding as well. We were hauling a big RV rig and there was plenty of parking for us. Easy in easy out and with great food. read more

May be an old building but its family ran and owned for over 30 years and they treat ya like an old friend... great service with a smile and the food is just as good as it was years ago.. I have been going here for 7 years myself and will continue to go here over any other restaurant in town! read more

Great hamburgers in Hereford. If it's not broke why fix it! This place is ancient but they still got it. Love it!!

I had a single w/chez, tot's and a drink. It was average to good in taste. The drink was served with crushed ice and they had my flavor (Diet DP) so over all it was ok. The person who took my order handed out the food in the wrong order; the guy that ordered 2 burgers, fries and drinks 10 minutes after me got this order before me (don't know what happened there) but mines was called soon after. read more

I ordered a green chile cheese burger there several times, just to give the benefit of the doubt. This time was no different...the meat seemed like a cheap patty with crunchy unknown things within it, the cheese was not melted at all, and green chile, you could not even taste; it had no flavor. I was very disappointed, as there are no places other than fast-food places to get a burger. This town needs a GOOD burger joint...with a good QUALITY burger. I won't eat there again. :( read more
