First, I brought my cat who had thrown up blood to him early in the am. He was easy to reach and I was grateful for the appointment and I was upset as my cat had thrown up bright red blood. This man hugged me before looking at my cat. And for entirely too long, and I've never had a vet hug me period. Then I came back because I had scheduled physicals for both my cats a week later. He did ultrasounds without explaining they would cost extra and without informing me of the price. In this appointment he asked me to comment on his body type, as to whether he was overweight or not, informed me it was his birthday, scolded me for cleaning my cats mouth daily-she has root resorption for years and heart disease which makes her an unsuitable candidate for surgery and cleaning her mouth and scaling her teeth has literally held back an infection and from making it worse for two years. That day he offered no itemized bill but simply charged me anyway. And I absolutely cut the visit short because he was overwhelming me with the condescending nature of how he was speaking to me. I paid for cat food that day as he diagnosed my other cat diabetic and had to wait to receive it. He told me he was getting one type of food and then showed up to deliver to my address with another. I informed him that I was researching best foods for diabetic cats and he literally word for word said to me; who is the vet? Me or you? And wanted me to say to him "you are the vet". I'm sure he's a great vet but 3 times he made me feel absolutely sick to my stomach and uncomfortable. I felt at first that he was trying to date me. Asking me about myself. How old am I? Do I have kids? Single women steer clear of this guy.
