I needed to get my whip detailed before Monday. I called around early Saturday morning and was pretty much denied by everyone in Long Beach. Mr.CleanVenience was super friendly and helpful. They offered to let me come in on Sunday even though they are usually not at the Cherry location that day. They had the crew come in just for me! I purchased the Yelp deal and got a mirror finish. I have a black car, and we all know how black cars really show any tiny scratch. Eric was kind enough to include some scratch-repair in the price. This is the best auto detail I've ever had done. They actually removed the dog hair, pee stains, caked on bug stains, and sand out of my car. I also had some major scuffs on my bumper and the cleaned it up really good for a little extra. I have a shiba inu and I let her in my car during shedding season and I take her to the beach once a week. I also drive 6 hours on the 5 to my home town once a month. I did have to reschedule with them, they were late, and they answer the phone 75% of the time. But the service I got when they finally got to my car was worth the wait. The attention to detail was unlike any other and the owner is very personable. The reason why the people who perform this service can be late and get away with it is because they make sure they get the job done right and better than anyone else, no matter what it takes. I think it's pretty damn clear that the detail from Eric and his crew at Mr. Cleanvenience is superb! But what sold me was the EXCELLENT customer service. Eric makes an assessment after going through your vehicle and suggests what actually needs to be done to bring the life out of your car. He goes over the products he uses (wax, glazes, sealants, etc.) and was very informative regarding the methods he uses to detail the car (hand applied wax, horse hair brush for the leather, porter cable or no porter cable). He asked me to look it over and let him know if he missed anything. Hope this review helps others. Mr. Cleanvenience does a good job of washing cars and in the beginning they are very detail oriented to keep their customer happy. As the time passes by... their work detailness starts diminishing... streaks, dusts and trash here and there and forgetting to clean some parts of the car. Last time I got a wax job was a nightmare... they waxed the plastic where it turned white and some spots were never wiped down. They just wanted to get out of there fast... Regarding appointments and keeping promises: The worst. Never on time. Never answering calls or returning calls. You must work around his schedule. Lack of communication skills. The guys working under Eric does all the job. Eric just sits around doing nothing while others are cleaning and doing the best. I guess his only job is to inspect the vehicle, but he is failing at that job too. From my perspective, he is lazy with a bad business practice. If you are willing to get a car wash, it will be cheaper and faster at a car wash than with Mr. CleanVenience. I am not sure about clean but it is convenient to call and wait, wait, and wait... I have a 15 passenger van that was BAD...not just your average bad, but 7 kids, we eat in the car all the time and bring friends bad! Eric and his 2 guys worked extremely hard for 5 hours! I recently had my truck and my wife's BMW detailed. They did a great job. Not only did they do a great job, but are also very friendly and professional. I look forward to using them again soon. I am really bummed that I have to change my rating. After my wife got into her car later that day, she noticed that the lever on the air conditioning/heater vent was broken. I mention it to the owner of the company and he was apologetic and offered to fix it with an adhesive, even though he was not completely sure that his crew broke it. He believes that there is a chance that it was already broken before the detail. I am positive it was not. This car is garaged and kept in perfect working order. Well....the adhesive did not work. The owner told me to replace the part it would cost him $180 and he felt it was to expensive for a repair that his crew may not have caused. His next plan was to try and find an after market part that would be more affordable. I was not stoked with the idea, but I was willing to except it. It has been about 3 weeks since I last heard from the owner of this company regarding the repair. I guess we are now responsible for getting the air vent repaired. The name says it all! My car was bad.... I mean bad. I could barely see out of the windshield, had crumbs everywhere inside, my car was a mess. First, I have to admit I was a bit hesitant to try MrCleanVenience. I mean, it was a Yelp deal and he had a few, albeit positive, reviews. It had potential disaster written all over it. But, I was desperate. A dear family member spilled juice in my car, whereupon said juice seeped into my carpet and cooked for 24 hours. Post-fermentation left my car smelling like a locker room full of used gym socks that ran a full marathon through sewage. The microbes were teeming with so much life, gnats and aphids started showing up in my car. Details of my fermented car aside, I bought the deal and tentatively e-mailed Eric to figure out when he could come clean my car. Between my schedule, record breaking heat, and his fully-packed work schedule, it took two months to finally get my car washed. I want to point out that this was largely my fault, and Eric was always courteous and understanding when I needed to reschedule. Anyway, on our agreed upon date and time, Eric and his team of two guys came over to my place and cleaned the hell out of my car. It took about two hours for a full detail, which included shampooing everything, clay wax, polished tires, trunk, and a clean engine. Thanks to the heat, everything was dry by the time they finished. Eric then made me inspect my car to make sure my car was fully detailed. The only part they missed was the upper bit by the windows because the windows were up. Just inspect it and let them know. They'll take care of it. All in all, great guys to have clean my car for a reasonable price. I couldn't be happier. P.S. I did tip because they did a great job quickly.. and eco-friendly products! MY CAR LOOKS AS NEW AS IT POSSIBLY CAN!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars out of 5...and I am a pretty harsh critic when it comes to things involving my cars. I decided to call these guys after all of the wonderful reviews on yelp since I am wanting to sell my car. It was terrible inside. Dog hair EVERYWHERE food crumbs, dirt, grass, gross cup holders, the works. The reviews were not joking. My car really does look brand new again. There were a few things that they couldn't take care of (obviously) like the bleach stains on the mats, and they couldn't get rid of ALL of the hair without damaging the interior. But I have NEVER seen any detail place be able to get rid of that much long dog hair. It took them about 3 hours to get it all done but that was because of how terrible it was inside. I am thoroughly impressed. After it was all done, the owner went over everything with me to make sure it was all perfect. He rolled down the windows to let the carpets dry and wiped down the window edges (which seems to be something that a lot of places forget to do). When I mentioned I was getting it detailed so I could sell it, he even offered to help me out by posting up some pictures! I was amazed. Eric and his team were exceptional in providing car cleaning services. They treat your car like it's their own and they start off the day by asking you about all of your concerns as far as specific areas you want cleaned. At the end of the wash, after the walk through, they cleaned and touched up any areas they might have missed without hesitation. I think it says a lot about a business when they show how passionate they are about what they do. They told me it would take about an hour and a half but ended up taking 2 and a half hours, making sure the job was done correctly. My carpets were stained to high hell and by the end of the shampoo they looked cleaner than ever. My car actually looked cleaner after they washed it than when I originally bought the car from the dealership. Not to mention, they come to your house and wash it right on your driveway. I'll be calling Eric and his crew back for all future detailing services on all my vehicles. I got the Gold Package which was an amazing deal for the price.
