This morning, I called several places, but no one answered except one Rouse. I spoke with Ken and explained the issue. He said he would be at my house between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and arrived around 12 p.m. He checked everything out and found that our thermostat was causing most of the problems. He replaced some wires while listening to my kids in the background. The cost was reasonable, and he was very upfront about the potential issues and solutions. Thanks guys!

When I got home from work, the AC unit was still not working. I contacted them and the owner was at my house within 20 minutes. The problem was diagnosed and fixed. Upon packing up, he went and got the check my wife had written earlier in the day and told us because of the error, he was not charging us anything. We tried to argue that his time was valuable but he was hearing none of it and wouldn't accept anything for fixing our problem. I won't use anyone else from this point on. Honesty and integrity hard to find these days and when you run across them, you keep it close by.

Its not easy. I know but the rewards are epic a lot of times. I called your establishment today. I am from Oregon. I am helping my son, who recently became a single father of 2, with his casa. We recently had our Heating and air conditioning fixed by 3 very kind gentleman after not having air conditioning for over 7 days. It was brutal! Thanks Guys!!! Wish I remembered their name. Awesome, young men! Respectful, and clean. This was right before the holiday, July 4th 2024. The very next day, after the fix, I see water coming out of the air vents and dripping in the laundry room. I ask my son, who works 12 to 14 hrs a day to call the landlord or Heating and cooling. He forgot ok, ask again...he forgot. Now hes at work, I need help and every # for the realitor online is a wrong #. So i dial Viking Air and ask for help. Jen answers, asks if I'm sure its not a broken pipe problem. U assure her that I don't believe it is because,... the water is coming from the vents and pooling in the laundry room. She askes me to check to see if its icyle on the condenser outside. NO ICE. Then she say she cannot do anything for me because I need to call the realtor and have her call Viking. I explain that my sons at work, realtors can't be reached and that I am frustrated. I don't know what to do. She offered to give me the realtors # ... I said Yay. You have their #, omgoodness I can't find that anywhere. She then immediately back tracks and says she cannot give me that info... I talk over her... begging to be given a manager or the #... there must be a way... i need help, and there be a loophole... right? No, she hangs up on me. Called them because I received a mailer, they were local and they had installed the existing unit…read morefor previous owners. Wanted to repair my A/C if possible and practical. Kirkwood's guy arrived on time, was polite and courteous, used footies when inside. He proceeded to inspect the unit from a distance and reported to me where the leak was and how it was rusted out and recommended a complete new unit. When asked about repair, He said he could inject with a StopLeak type product and then fill with 8 lbs. new Freon, would cost $1200.00 +\- and no guarantee. Complete new Unit $7000.00 +/-. Next day called Brockman Heating & Air and they inspected the unit by getting inside of the outside compressor, they found 2 pinholes where the tubes had rubbed together, they removed my existing 3 lbs. of freon, brazed the pinholes, pressure checked the system to be sure they got all the leaks and refilled using my 3 lbs. and added 5 new lbs. of freon. Everything is like new again for a Grand Total of $494.00. So everything that Kirkwood reported was dead wrong, they only wanted to sell a new unit. They did make sure to call the next day for there service call money. 2 days later I opened up inside unit to clean the A-Coils and found large pipe cutters from original installation by Kirkwood. Guess they have never cared.

I will say that two technicians showed up on time that kind of look like a father and son team. Both men diagnosed my outside unit then my inside unit where my furnace was and the older tech knew quite knowledgeable about home a/c units and knew his stuff, the younger tech was very helpful and answer all of our questions. Both Men were nice and helpful and provided A+ customer service. The problem was resolved and fixed; & the whole affair took less than 45 minutes from start to finish. I would recommend Sandlin Heating & Air to all my friends and Neighbors as a Honest, Reliable and Heating and cooling company in the Fairfield Area. :-)
