Busy spot with drive through. Came in around 9:30 and there was still a large selection of donuts available. Blueberry donut was delicious and had dried blueberries throughout. Strawberry donut was airy with the right amount of glaze. Bavarian cream long John was definitely the best of the three. The filling was delicious! read more

First time here. Kind of late in the day at 1130 but I have been wanting to try this donut shop since all I see is flyboy donuts and Hyvee for donuts. Dont waste your time at flyboy donuts, very disappointing. HYvee is expensive! I walk in and the floor was freshly mopped. The establishment looks clean. I was greeted right of way by the owner I presume. Since i was late the display case was about 75% empty. Luckily for me they had apple fritters left. I love apple fritters. Those are my go to. I purchased to try out an apple fritter, bearclaw, maple bar. The maple bar probably would be better in the morning. It was a little dry but tasted good. The maple frost was a thin layer on top. Myself I prefer a little more thickness of maple frost on mine. I'd give the maple bar a 3. I still liked it though. Apple fritter was solid. I would give it a 3.8. It had a good amount of apple filling so you can taste the apple filling. Bear claw was solid as well. A nice amount of apple cinnamon mixture inside. The bearclaw was a little softer than the maplebar. I would say 3.8 again. I bet these donuts are a 4 star earlier in the morning! My goal will be to plan an early trip here on another day. These donuts were not bad at all for being at 1130am and they certainly are much better than a flyboy donut. So you definitely need to try Mr Donuts if you have not been here. read more

Mr Donuts is amazing! Their croissant breakfast sandwiches are the best I've ever had! croissants are so fresh and have an awesome crispy texture(unlike the slimy, mushy ones from the large chain fast-food restaurants) and they use real egg instead of a pre-made egg patty. My husband is obsessed with their apple fritters. Any staff I've ever dealt have been SO friendly and kind. They have such an amazing and quality product that I'm shocked there isn't a line from the drive-thru out to 10th St. Don't sleep on this place, Sioux Falls!! read more

After moving to Sioux Falls from Texas I'd been looking for a donut shop to frequent and let me tell you, this is the one! Mr Donut does show strange hours online, but you can call to confirm if they're open or not, we went on a Saturday and the woman told us they were open until 2pm The donuts are phenomenal, much better IMHO than flyboy donuts. They have a wide selection, moist flavorful donuts, and the price is right! We tried their pig in blanket "kolaches", old fashioned, cake donuts, and filled donuts and they were all great, not to mention the owner had thrown 2 of them in for free! 10/10 absolutely recommend, the only downside is how far they are from my home, but that's a problem I can deal with ;) read more

Rolled through on my work trip. They have a drive thru which is very convenient on a quick trip. The service was quick and polite with a smile. Initially I was impressed with the Apple fritter but then it became a weird Mixture of almost dry dough but moist from the apples. I wasn't the biggest fan but It looks like a lot of their others are very good. read more

We were passing through and were in search of donuts and discovered this place based on the Yelp reviews. We arrived around 10:45 am and a lot of the donuts we wanted were already sold out but luckily there were creme filled vanilla and chocolate long Johns that were still available. These were a hit with my teenage son who is a donut freak, and he said they were the best creme filled donuts that he ever had. I also picked up a bag of 16 donut holes (glazed) for $1.99 which was such a bargain and paired perfectly with my coffee (not purchased at the shop). We loved Mr. Donuts! The donuts were delicious and soft and there were many options. The place was run by a group of people who were mostly just hanging out, which made the atmosphere feel very relaxed and comfortable. The woman at the counter was very sweet and helpful. I take away one star because the sign on the front of the building advertised bubble tea but didn't have it available on the menu. The dining space had a lot of boxes stacked in the corners, which simultaneously added to that relaxed feeling but also made the inside look a bit disheveled. I personally didn't mind, but if messy environments stress you out it may be a better option to take your donuts to go. All in all, a wonderful experience! I wish this place could be given one rating for their donuts, and one rating for everything else. I want a drive-up donut place to succeed here in Sioux Falls. We have no Tim Hortons and no Dunkin', so we're due. Mr. Donuts chocolate cake donuts are better than anyplace else in town. That said, I have probably gone through the drive-up at Mr. Donuts a dozen times. 3 of those times (morning timeframe), no one took an order at the sign or showed up at the window. But once, the person handing me my two chocolate donuts mentioned they offer breakfast sandwiches. So on 3 occasions, I tried to order something on a bagel, only to be told by the staff they had no groceries , no bagels, no eggs, no sausage... My standing order is two chocolate cake donuts: not easy to mess up. But this morning I got frosted - not what I ordered, not what I wanted. Oh, and step up the coffee game.
