I cannot say enough about the amazing customer service at Flyboy Donuts off 57th and Western! I had placed an online order for pickup on Christmas Eve. But when my husband picked it up, he didn't know where the order was sitting so when he asked for our order (He wasn't sure what exactly I had ordered so I think he estimated our order), the gal behind the counter gave him what he had said and he came home with these items. The staff noticed my order was still sitting at the pickup shelf and called me to let me know. When I realized the mix-up, I called them back and explained that we'd gotten the wrong items, and I could bring back what my husband had brought home, bc it was still in the bag, and they said no worries go ahead and keep it! Also, I explained couldn't make it to the store before they closed due to an appointment. Instead of simply leaving it at that, they went above and beyond-they offered to stay after closing time AND ended up driving to my nail salon to personally deliver my order. Not only that, but they surprised the salon staff with a big box of donuts as well!! Their kindness and willingness to go the extra mile truly made my day (and everyone else's at the salon too). It's rare to find such thoughtful and dedicated customer service these days. The only thing worse than the coffee was the service. Girl at the counter was incredibly rude and made our entire experience feel rushed. There are no signs saying what each donut is so when we asked she made it seem like this huge labor she was performing just to bend down and see which one we pointed at to tell us what it was. She demanded that we tell her how many donuts we wanted up front so she could grab the correct size container to put them in. Well maybe if we knew what donut was what we could decide? I called on Friday at about 1:30 double checking my order pickup for the following day and the lady said she couldn't find it. She said she would have the owner call and get back to me. Never did. Got to be 2 pm and they closed. had to hope and pray my order was done when I went to pick it up. I love Flyboy Donuts. My entire family loves Flyboy Donuts. Everyone at my husbands office loves Flyboy Donuts. I did not even realize that people existed who didn't love Flyboy donuts until I came to their Yelp page! Even then I am suspicious of some of the negative reviews. Flyboy delivers donuts to Brookings and when they do we try and get on the list. We have yet to be disappointed by the price, quality, freshness, taste, or variety of the donuts. They are usually quite large and crowd pleasing (unlike our local Micro Doughnut place). I will admit I have never been into the store to experience their service and am not sure why I would buy coffee there, but their donuts are definitely worth 5 stars. read more

Live very close to the original location, but their hours are horrendous and layout of store in not the best if you are in there in the busy morning. Decided to try out the new east side which thankfully is opened until 6pm. Upon arriving, was disappointed to see that even though this location is opened later, the drive over there was worthless. Only had one tray half full of donuts left (and still had over 3hrs until closing) which consisted of a few glazed donuts, one meh looking white icing with a couple Lucky Charms looking marshsmallows, and a few long johns covered in a lot of bacon. This town seriously needs a true donut shop; one that is opened later hours and isn't out of a donuts so early and one that has true coffee drinks selection. (I have my own k-cup brewer at home, no donut shop should be using the word "Coffee" in their advertising if all it is a machine where you brew your own k-cup). Please, city of Sioux Falls, get a Dunkin already. Something that has simple donut selections without all the foo toppings and can make a variety of coffee drinks. read more

Donuts are good. There's no dunkin donut or krispy kreme in town so pretty much don't have other choices. One thing we always notice is the poor service.
