They may have changed some things since the last reviews since they were adding additional features when we were here. Ambiance/Service: The ambiance is actually really cool with an outside seating and water fountains, etc. as well as a neat indoor with a fun glass flooring. The service was really good and on top of it. We did not feel it slow at all. Food/drinks: We were pleased with the food. We had a spice tuna roll, chicken soup, miso noodle soup, and gyoza and it was all very taste and fresh. The only thing i would say is that the soup was a little salty, but other than that, the sushi roll was fresh and the gyoza's were really good. The drinks were also good, nothing fancy. We haven't tried a lot of sushi restaurants in MXC, but the ones we have tried, this is our favorite so far.

Sushi is underwhelming. Sou sauce is watering down, doesn't even make my food saltier. I had authentic Japanese food in Japan and fake Japanese food in USA but by far this is the worst. However the service is nice and polite. but Sorry, food is horrible.

Omg! We're already talking about what to order on our next visit…read more Had an early dinner (by local standards) at 6:30pm on a rainy Friday night. We were seated right away without a reservation. Loved the decor and the casual, intimate atmosphere. We tried the sashimi, vegetable gyoza, salmon don, wagyu beef, seafood fried rice, and finished with the chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was delicious. If I had to offer a critique, I'd say the wagyu was just okay--not bad, just okay. Deep respect to the kitchen for executing such a comprehensive menu. The consistency shines through not just in the high-ticket items but also in the staples like gyoza and fried rice.

You can scan the QR code to pull up the menu. It was in both Spanish and English. The menu was extensive, a little something for everyone. There was ramen, rice bowl, udon, sushi, sashimi, shabu, maki, nigiri, etc.   I tried the maguro mix don that had chu-toro, o-toro, and akami on top of white rice. This was a perfectly balanced meal. A good fatty texture on the sashimi. Rice to fish ratio was also good. It was refreshing from all the food we've been eating in CDMX. We all enjoyed our don and ramen.   Service was a bit slow regarding when our food came out but they brought out everyone's food at the same time. The restroom was clean as well. The indoor seating looks spacious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and would recommend this spot if you're looking for Japanese food in the Roma Norte area.

The place is small and very popular, so come with a bit of patience. The setup is super efficient: when you arrive, you place your order at a machine and wait outside. Once a spot opens up, they invite you in, and your food arrives within minutes. I ordered the Tan Tan Ramen and was in pure umami heaven. The noodles had the perfect consistency, and the broth was incredibly flavorful without being overpowering. I also tried the gyozas, which were more like mini fried empanadas...crispy, savory, and absolutely delicious. I'd definitely recommend this spot to any ramen lover. They really know what they're doing here!

They give you a welcome green tea/matcha which I loved. But the food?? The gyoza was the worst we have had in forever. Edamame was fine but weirdly under-salted. The ramen was bland, like dialed down for an American palate. And the chashu was overdone, again. Second ramen spot in CDMX with that same issue. If I lived in the neighborhood, sure. Going out of my way for it, no. Maybe we are ramen snobs. But this was just okay.

It's in a trendy area and upscale although we came dressed mor casual. It's on the second floor and has amazing ambiance. We ordered the dynamite roll, crispy spicy tuna, truffle salmon, miso soups, caterpillar roll and tuna truffle roll. The truffle roll has to be one of the most amazing rolls I've ever eaten, if you like truffle of course. Everything else was amazing as well. The dynamite roll was great and I highly recommend literally everything we had. They also have great drinks, we had a mexcal maracuja drink and lychee martini as well as hot sake. For dessert we chose the tres leche cake and the truffle ice cream cream brûlée. If I say I have never tastes anything as amazing probably almost in my life as this truffle ice cream!! I know if we would have gone to a restaurant of this magnitude in the states it would have cost double of what we paid here. The service was excellent and Samuel and everyone was so attentive.

Wrong, the food was great, beautiful people seated everywhere and friendly, warm servers. Smoking was allowed in the restaurant. Even though none of our party smoked, the tables were spaced far apart enough that it wasn't an issue. Very, very good sushi/sashimi. Not Masa, Nobu or Morimoto good, but could hold its own amongst most other well regarded Japanese restaurants. Glad we were able to find this so close to our Polanco hotel. If you're looking for good sushi/sashimi in CDMX, you won't be disappointed here.
