Plumbers came out and spent 10 minutes onsite (seemed really fast) and drain was fine when they left. Within 3-4 weeks it ran a little slower and slower. We are now 6 weeks out and I have sewage backing up in my basement. Warranty expired at 30 days. They want to charge me to do it again. I have my drain cleared once a year and have no issues in between. These guys won't stand behind their work after 44 days. I'll pay to have it done again, I just won't pay these guys. If you want it done right, don't use McCarthy Plumbing.

He took full ownership of the situation and never tried to cover anything up or make excuses. He sent out his most experienced technicians to thoroughly go over the system and determine whether there was an issue that had been missed over the years or whether the unit ultimately needed to be replaced. They were finally able to determine that the AC had been installed incorrectly. While I'm certainly not thrilled that an improper installation wasn't identified during the multiple service calls we've had over the years, I do want to give credit where credit is due. Once Peter and his team became involved, they were extremely solution-focused and committed to getting to the bottom of the problem. I also learned that Peter was not the owner when I originally purchased the AC, which makes me even more appreciative that he stepped up and took responsibility for an issue that technically predated his ownership. He assured me that, one way or another, we would get the situation resolved, and I respect that. One thing that really stood out to me throughout this process was how highly each of the technicians spoke of one another. Every gentleman I interacted with this week had nothing but positive things to say about the rest of the team. It was very obvious that they have each other's backs and are all working toward the same goal. At the end of the day, I'm still disappointed that it took this long and this many service calls to uncover the installation issue. However, I believe in giving credit where it's due, and Peter and his team deserve recognition for how they handled things once they became aware of the problem. Their communication, willingness to investigate, and focus on finding a solution made a significant difference. ***************************** We have had ongoing issues with our AC system since purchasing a new unit from this company five years ago. From the beginning, the system has struggled to keep up and has consistently run nearly 24/7. After having the team come out multiple times to troubleshoot the issue, I ultimately had to have the system and other aspects of my home thoroughly evaluated. I was eventually informed that the AC unit installed was improperly sized and too small for our home. This has resulted in years of frustration, along with thousands of dollars in additional utility costs and service fees trying to diagnose and address the problem. I'm extremely disappointed that a new system was installed incorrectly in the first place and that it took multiple service calls and significant expense to determine the root cause.

I have searched high and low in Trenton for a good plumber that knows what they're doing. Pricey or not, I think we've finally found him.

We did not have a good experience with this company. We first called them to fix a shower fixture…read morethat was dripping. It's an older fixture, but the plumber said he could fix it, though it needed a new $62 part. He fixed the drip, though he hooked it up with the hot & cold reversed from how it had been previously. No biggie, we could deal. When he left, things seemed to be fine and we paid the bill of $325. Fast forward to the beginning of HOT weather and we discover that the shower dial is set so that we can't get a really cool water in the shower - it's all hot. So we call them back to adjust it so we can have both hot and cold showers. The same guy comes out and "fixes it." He comments that it's an old, outdated faucet, but he indicates it's fixed. Next morning, I go for a nice hot shower and discover that now we have only cool and cold showers. Even when turned so it should be only hot water coming out, the shower is too cold for me to get in. When I called and asked to speak to the manager, "Alex," he told me I was making a big deal out of nothing, that his worker said it was fixed and so, it must have been fixed. He told me we probably needed to get a whole new fixture because this one was so old, and he implied that we weren't willing to do so. I pointed out that the plumber left, saying the shower was fixed, and he never mentioned that we should buy a new fixture. He just left us with a cold shower. If we need a new fixture we would happily pay for one, but instead he just left us with an unusable one. The manager also told me that he believed his worker when he said it was fixed, rather than believing me, and he accused me of saying his worker was "lying." (Not at all. I don't think he was lying, he just didn't fix the faucet right.) Oh, and they couldn't get back to us until 1 week from today! So we have an unusable shower for the next week. I'm done with these guys, and will go with someone more reputable.

We didn't need to do as much work as we thought we had another quote by another company and they quoted us alot. Jen's plumbing found in fact that they were going to do triple as much work as needed to be done - Jen is honest and very authentic. She is not going to do more work than what needs to be done. She is a very straightforward person and will be honest with you. I could tell she wasn't going to charge me more than what was needed I can't believe some other companies would do a ton of work just to get extra money when it's not necessary, She explained everything clearly and concisely and gave us options.
