I don't know how to properly word my review but Martin and David are the best! Totally honest and skillful people here. They are trustworthy, funny and directly - will always be my top choice electrician in the SGV region. He always answers your questions promptly and provides cost efficient solutions to a project. My project involves setting up a sub-panel in my garage with multiple 240V outlets for my EVs chargers. This was a day long project since my main panel resided pretty far away (other side of the house). Martin and David did a wonderful job planning, explaining and executing the actual project. I was totally sick of hearing several "large-team" electricians that tried to overcharge me for some weird reasons or make up excuses that the project can't be done unless I pay extra dollars for something unrelated. You can tell that a business owner cares about customer service and his reputation by following thru with what he says. I contacted Martin of MR Electric to install flood lights at my residence after an increase of burglaries in our neighborhood. He told me that he would be by the house the next morning at 9AM to give me an estimate on the job. True to word, Martin showed up at exactly at 9AM!!! Martin has a pleasant demeanor and is very professional. He examined the areas of where I wanted the flood lights installed and quoted me a competitive price. However, Martin did advise me that he was backed up a couple of weeks with other jobs. I took that as a sign that his work was exceptional and worth the wait. Therefore, I told him that I wanted to hire him and would wait the two weeks. Martin actually was able to fit me in before the two week period ended. He arrived promptly with his assistant David, and got to work right away. My wife is a stickler for cleanliness so they made a point to wear paper shoe covers in the house. In addition, they cleaned up after the work was done. What I was most impressed about was that they were able to complete the installation of the flood lights in an aesthetic manner without breaking any of the stucco. Martin and David finished the work in the time promised so that we could move on with our day. All in all, I am very pleased with the how the flood lights turned out. I'm a first time homeowner and an interior designer and decided to change my light switches to the flatter more modern look. The power to my tankless water heater went out after a recent rain and my warranty insurance company dispatched a plumber even though I specifically requested an electrician. Martin upgraded my main panel to 200 amps, grounded my outlets, installed recessed lighting and old pool pump timer, so this is a pretty extensive project. He and his team did all this with minimal amount of patching required. He also managed to resolve a sticky issue with the city which could delay the release of permit and potentially delay the project. So the highlights: * Fair price. Not the cheapest, but you don't want the cheapest contractor for your electrical work. * Punctual. It was only one time that he missed to show up at the promised time but that was due to he was getting caught up with other projects. But for the rest of the project, he and his team always showed up on time and would communicate with you if he had issues. * Good communication. You're not in the dark on what day/time he would be at your house and the progress of his work. * Stand by his work. He took care of a defective equipment and reinstalled it for free. We originally had a problem with a part of a power and Martin was able to find that we had a short in the underground line and he replaced the line with PVC instead of the metal conduit line that was previously installed. When we decided to upgrade our meter panel, we called him and he handled everything. He finished the job within a day and caused little disturbance.
