I called over 4 electricians on yelp for a last minute issue with my electrical panel. Sent all of them 2 pictures of the panel that needed repair. Everyone said that I need to replace the whole thing and quoted me $2750-$4000. I called handylecteic to fix some sconces and an outdoor plug. He was very pleasant on the phone but outsourced to his Son. His came the first day for 1 hour and left to pick up his child from school. Nothing was located as the issue nor was anything fixed, but with a child myself I understood. The second time he returned he spent additional time here and made some changes but did not resolve the issue. He was very polite and provided some insight but I feel that his diagnostic was incorrect and a few days later the lights stopped working again. Additionally, I now have black streaks on my wall that I have to clean from his hand marks. During the process he also blew out one of my smart switches but he did cover the replacement cost. 2 stars as he was very polite and diligent, but I am not sure he located and fixed the issue overall. $600 spent to be back at square 1. read more

Jeremy worked on our home several months ago and what started out well turned into a disaster. He took a job that was out of his expertise and what was a job that should take 2 weeks turned into a nightmare that lasted several months and ended costing us the homeowners thousands of dollars.
