My yacht charter experience was far from what I expected, and unfortunately, it turned into a frustrating and disappointing situation.
To begin with, the booking process seemed smooth at first. I was under the impression that everything was fully arranged.
On the day of the charter, I was rushed at the last minute to complete waivers and the contract. The yacht itself did not match the photos or description that had been advertised. It appeared worn, not well-maintained, and lacked the level of cleanliness I would expect for something at this price point. Certain features that were promised--such as extra thirty minutes for the jet ski was not honored. specific onboard amenities like the bartender were unpleasant. He was not attentive and lazy.
The crew's professionalism was another issue. While not outright rude, they seemed disengaged and unprepared. The language barrier was a real big problem for me. There was little effort to create a welcoming or enjoyable atmosphere, and at times it felt like guests were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Requests were met with delays or minimal effort, which took away from what should have been a relaxing experience.
Additionally, the itinerary felt rushed and poorly organized. Instead of a smooth, enjoyable cruise, the trip felt disjointed and underwhelming.
Considering the premium price of the charter, the overall experience did not deliver anywhere near the expected level of quality or service. It felt like corners were being cut in multiple areas, from maintenance to customer care.
In the end, this was not the luxury experience that was advertised. With better communication, proper upkeep, and a more attentive crew, this could have been a completely different experience. As it stands, I would not choose this service again and would recommend and I will make a review to warn others.
