The yacht was fully equipped with the very best high tech appliances, extremely clean, and we had additional water toys to have a little fun on the water. The captain of the yacht was great, kind and courteous to all our needs. Once my friends and I started to get a little hungry. Mari and her wonderful staff were able to RSVP us dinner at the River Yacht Club. I honestly felt like a millionaire when my friends and I stepped off the yacht to have dinner. I rented a yacht for a group of friends for my husbands birthday. The experience with Mari was fantastic from start to finish. She is always available and very responsive which is huge for me when I am planning anything. She reached out to me a week before our yacht day and there were some concerns she had with the yacht I originally booked and she called me with a solution already which was such relief for me. Many times when there are issues, people don't always have a solution right away, but she did and the yacht was awesome. We had a yacht with a jet ski and my husband had the best time. My experience with Starlux Yachts (Mari) was nothing short of extraordinary! Although she may take a bit to respond, just know that Mari's got your back (most likely because she is getting the best deal she can for you!). I would recommend calling (vs. text) for faster response times. Mari was able to help our group of 30+ book a very luxurious yacht for a reasonable price. We also opted in for an open bar and passed hors d'oeuvres. To be honest, the food was better than anyone expected and no one was left hungry! The yacht also had Bluetooth connectivity for music but our group was able to bring our own music equipment to play on the deck. We also let the captain know before we set sail that we would like to jump in the water and he was able to dock mid-way to give everyone the opportunity to swim. The crew in general delivered exceptional service and helped create an atmosphere of luxury and relaxation throughout our voyage. Please be aware when using Mari!!! I used her to broker a deal for my high profile clients. Mari was late to show up to meet them, despite giving the wrong directions (pin drop) numerous times, calling them & specifically giving them a meeting time. The clients had to walk over five minutes with their things while Mari sat and did nothing. My clients had to carry drinks (the lack of amenities unless you want pay 500% markup & lack of direction to have it delivered), food & personal items. All due to her incompetent, lazy directions, irregardless of the numerous attempts for an actual physical address, gate or business office. Her solution was to sit and wait not help, this is the caliber of broker you receive when dealing with Mari. She was rude to my clients, lied to my clients and completely put them at an Inconvenience. After giving her ample time for an actual physical address to insure my clients would have no issue she dropped a pin 5 times with the wrong location, all five times. Thankfully, I sent my clients 45 minutes early as to prevent loss of time on the yacht; as her sketchy directions made me nervous. Mari made my client feel as if she was at fault , due to Mari's lack of direction. All while Mari sat and waited, offered no help, other than a phone call. She did NOTHING!!! Although, she did comment to my client after their long trek, How convenient she was located to her next guest & was only a few steps away to meet them! I am giving her one star, because the boat Capt of the Poseidon was amazing and saved the trip for my clients!! I wish I could give him a separate review as he was amazing!!!!! Also, for for his help in arranging Jet skis & personally walking the clients to the proper pick up location!!! All which should have been handled once again by Mari!!!! Mari should return her commission, apologize to the Capt, me and the clients. Her actions and lack of excepting responsibility & constant shift of blame and messiness require me to tell you as a 20 year travel professional; please do your research when finding a broker, as she isn't capable of providing good customer service. There is nothing " Lux"Luxury about this business! Beware!!!! I tried to work with Mari about this embarrassing situation & inconvenience; she was saw no fault. Her solution was to blame my clients, the pin she dropped (without a physical location & correct Gate) and then place blame on the driver. Please beware when dealing with her! Also, get her actions in writing, as her lies are off the chart & you may to prove to your client you were not the one to fail them. read more

Mari was extremely helpful helping me to find an appropriate yacht for our planned birthday party charter, and gave us lots of options for size of yacht, and cost. We settled on Onkor, an Azimut 45 (I think). Mari was extremely responsive, answering her phone whenever I called (or returning calls or text messages promptly), and met us at the Marina to help us get on our way. Our day with Captain Mike on Onkor was spectacular. After conferring with the Captain, we determined that forecasted thunder storms were not a threat to our day on the water, I was joined by 12 friends to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. The weather was spectacular, the Captain was extremely flexible and accommodating, and the boat is perfect for this size of group. Leaving from Miami Beach marina, we opted to anchor at Hobby Beach and swim for a while, then relocated behind Fisher Island, before ending our charter back at the marina. My guests, who are mostly Miami/Miami Beach locals and have been on many charters, have told me it was one of the best charters/days on the water they have been on. A word about the boats - there are two identical Azimut (45's I think) - one is bright orange, and the other grey. Both are really cool. They have a great layout, with sun and shade options, bean bag chairs on the bow cushion, two heads and two bedrooms. The sound system is great - we'd originally considered bringing a DJ with us, but rather than give up the space and a spot on the guest list we curated our own music via blue tooth - it worked flawlessly. This boat is the perfect size for a dozen folks. By regulation, in Miami Beach, that is what most charters are limited to, regardless of the size of boat - so go bigger if you want - you don't need to. This has lots of space, a great swim platform, a swimming pad to lounge on when you toss anchor. I live in Miami Beach, and charter a few times a year...this was the easiest and most stress free experience I've had. I'll certainly be back to Mari and her team. read more

The service is amazing!! Mari Mata was very helpful and charming. The steps are easy and the whole process is fast. Mari answered all my questions. I needs to use different payment methods and she was very accommodating even tho it was more work for her. She met us at the doc which was very professional, she was there to make sure we were all set and ready!! We had a blast and I will definitely consider renting from them in the future. It was a rainy day but not for long since the captain knew exactly where to go and he made sure we stayed dry and even got some sunny spots. Mari was spectacular in making sure the sign up process went smoothly and had no issues in the accommodations I had requested for. You have multiple interfaces to complete payment and Mari was always readily available to answer and questions via phone, email, or text - even the day of. Our Captain, Phil, and our Stewardess, Christine, were so welcoming and gave us with an amazing afternoon (soda, water, and ice were included). We were able to cruise out, stop at a sandbar (they provided various floaties), and then ended the evening with a sunset ride. We couldn't have asked for more! When you book with other companies, keep in mind, sometimes they don't include the charge for fuel but our overall price had it included. They were very upfront with pricing and I felt peace of mind that there weren't any hidden fees. read more
