Hot wings
Daniel H.

Ok y'all... I've passed by Mr. Gyros on multiple occasions and had not had the opportunity to try it out until recently a few days ago. I must say that it was definitely much better than I had anticipated! As at first I was a bit skeptical since a good gyro is a hard thing to find in the city of Orlando.... And all I got to say to ya'll is that... "I ain't mad at it". This spot is located on Orange Blossom Trail near the i4 ramp. When you first walk in, the restaurant looks pretty clean. It's a smaller establishment...but from the few minutes I spent inside it looked like people pick up to go orders more from here... rather than dine in anyways. I placed my order at the front from the gentlemen at the cash register, he was very attentive and gave some great recommendations. I had ordered the combo with the wings and gyro. I know... interesting combination... but hey you get the best of both worlds. The gyro itself was pretty standard and it got the job done. I think partially it was my fault I did let it sit there for a good 30 mins before I ate it so it wasn't as hot anymore. The wings had a great flavor to it.. because y'all know when we talking bout wings it's all about the sauce. My only thing was that the wings were just a bit over cooked... but hey I didn't mind because that sauce made up for it. Overall, I would say that I would definitely hit up this spot again whenever I am around the area. Price wise it wasn't bad for the amount of food you got. It had definitely satisfied my hunger for a few hours afterwards. If you ever get the opportunity to be on that side of town.. then stop on by to support this local business!

This is my go to wing place in Orlando! It's always fresh and yummy I ordered through door dash and even after 30 minutes delivery it was still hot!! There was extra sauce for the wings and they were a decent size! It's affordable but be ready to wait in line! It's one of the most popular wing places on that side of town! It's well worth the wait!

Honey BBQ chicken wings and Gizzards

Mr. Gyros I've been frequenting this spot since I was introduced. It's located right off the infamous "Trail", Orange Blossom Trail. They are known for gyro but I think there best served dish are those wings. The very first time I had their Honey BBQ wings I was instantly hooked. The other day my trip consisted of wings and gizzards. If you haven't some good fried, crispy, tender gizzards you would absolutely love there's. The food their is always fresh and tasty as ever.

Don't let the location turn you away; this place has some great food at a good price! Their wings are really good and I love their gyros. I always get the rice and beans as a side which is a generous portion. My boyfriend enjoys the cheesesteak. I always go through the drive through. Service is prompt and polite. I recommend checking this place out; it's one of those good hole in the wall places.

The Vibe: This location is always clean, well-stocked, and organized, and we've never had an issue finding seating--even during busier times. Service: Customer service is consistently friendly and efficient, which keeps us coming back just as much as the food. Our Go-To Orders: I usually build a bowl with 1/2 greens and 1/2 rice, topped with chicken and sweet potatoes. My husband goes for a bowl with basmati rice and steak. For dips, we always get: * Red Pepper Hummus * Harissa * (Me) Eggplant Dip * (Him) Classic Hummus We load up on toppings (which are unlimited and included--a huge plus), and always ask for dressings on the side. I go with garlic sauce + date balsamic, and my husband gets garlic sauce + harissa vinaigrette. Flavor-packed and fully customizable. Why We Keep Coming Back: The ingredients are always fresh, the portions are generous, and the ability to customize every bowl makes it easy to never get bored. Healthy, filling, and consistently delicious. Overall: If you're looking for a reliable, fresh, and flavorful fast-casual option, this location delivers every time. We love CAVA and will definitely keep coming back. Pro tip: Don't skip the dips--and always get your dressings on the side so you can control the flavor.

We got in just at noon so we were able to order quickly and the food came out in a timely manner. They have a variety of foods: salad, protein bowls, wraps and sandwiches. I appreciate how you can see everything being made fresh. I ordered the Gaucho Sandwich, which had steak with chimichurri, onions and cheese on focaccia bread. It was phenomenal! The steak was soft, and the focaccia bread was thin enough that the sandwich didn't feel overwhelming. I loved how crunchy the side of chips was too. My friend ordered the cob salad and she enjoyed how large and filling the bowl was and how light the dressing was. Very Reasonable pricing too!

The service was on point and very friendly. Our only complaint was the tables were super dirty. I mean all of them. We like booths so we went straight to them and all had food all over. At opening? Every booth filthy? I mentioned it to the guy coming around to wipe them and didn't seem too concerned. Even after he wiped the tabletops he was not touching the seating with old food clearly left there. Not impressed the cleanliness of the dining area. Honestly disgusting. It's a shame because the food and service were 5 stars. Dining area at opening? 0 stars. Level of concern from employee was zero. Perhaps we'll be back for take out or something but old food all over the tables at opening is not acceptable. Only deducting 2 stars because food and service was on point despite the dirty dining area.

Overall 3.75 Stars…read more If you need a healthy alternative to heavy laden carbs or fried / rich foods, then this place is for you. After spending a day at a theme park and eating their options, it was nice to "clean" your body out with a good and healthy salad. Located on Sand Lake road near Publix and multiple eateries, this place has a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and a limited selection of soups. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Though it was clean and roomy, there was no soap and limited toilet paper. Staff: 3.5 Stars Deli The employees were friendly and professional. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. However, with the middle Eastern dialect and his ability to speak at a rate of the sound barrier, he had to repeat a few times for us to understand. Note: His patience was much appreciated. Food: 3.75 Stars We all chose several different salads. Three were pre-fixed and one was customized. 1. Shanghai Chicken Salad - 3.5 Stars Roasted chicken, edamame, scallions, almonds, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine perfectly paired with miso sesame vinaigrette Contains: Nuts, Soy I chosen the chopped romaine leaves as the base. It was light and flavorful from the dressing. However the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry. The condiments were plentiful and fresh. Though it was good and had protein, I felt somewhat satisfied. I could eaten another bowl. 2. Chicken Shawarma - 4 Stars Blackened diced chicken thigh, kale, hummus, baba ghanoush, pickles, Israeli salad with Greek yogurt and tahini dressing. The based options are rice melody or couscous. I chose the rice melody. This bowl was more satisfying than the Shanghai Chicken Salad. The chicken tasted juicy, tender and flavorful. Choosing a thigh instead of breast brings the umami flavor of the chicken. The fresh veggies and tahini dressing was a perfect match for this option. 3. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. My wife added chicken and swapped the walnuts for pumpkin seeds. The diced breast chicken was slightly dry and seasoning was lacking. The salad itself was good but wasn't too satisfying. 5. Customized Salad - 3.25 Stars My niece chose to customize her salad bowl. She chose chicken, romaine lettuces, shaved Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, edamame, and other veggie ingredients. She chose the avocado Chimichurri dressing which she liked. NOTE: they offer breakfast items and coffee. Selection of various drinks are from a deli refrigerator and they carry some Kombucha options too. Enjoy!

Tons of great options if you're looking to eat some fresh and healthy. I ordered the Wok bowl and although it sounded like my cup of tea, it didn't taste like it. The bowl itself looked delicious, and the rice and chicken were both actually warm to my surprise! The rice itself however was a little hard and the chicken was a bit bland. I wish I would've asked for the sauce on the side or maybe added some sauce to my chicken to give it more flavor as all my sauce ended up on the veggies and really didn't enhance absorb the peanut sauce (which was great). What I didn't know, was the chain operates as Saint Louis Bread Company in the Greater St. Louis area. The name comes from a word that has roots in the Latin word for "breadbasket" (Classical pānārium, Vulgar pānāria) and is exactly the same to the word for "breadbasket" in Spanish. Panera offers a wide array of pastries and baked goods, like bagels, brownies, cookies, breads, and muffins. Their new Asiago Everything Bagel is topped with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic, dried onion, salt, and of course plenty of asiago cheese inside and out. Bagels typically are not a part of my diet, but cheese definitely is. The exterior of the bagel is crispy from the baked asiago cheese, but the interior is still soft and fluffy. There's a distinct fragrance from the cheese, garlic, and onion that also separates this from your standard bagel. It does not have the traditional hole in the center, which makes it ideal for sandwiches. I didn't want to mask it's flavors too much for my initial review, so I opted to pair it with the honey maple walnut cream cheese spread and it paired nicely enough. As much as I like garlic and onions, those flavors came off a little stronger than I would have liked. For that reason, I'll be sticking with the plain old Asiago Bagel from Panera since for me, the Everything version is just okay Doughboy_Food_Reviews My Favorite Panera Bagels: 1. Cinnamon Crunch 2.
