The family meal came with some sides and they were just ok. I wouldn't worry about getting sides next time. It's in a great location on OBT and the service was fast. The prices are really good!! Like really really good!! I got a 5 mixed piece chicken box meal for $11.99. That's a steal, okaayyyyy!!! We were craving some chicken & this seemed to be highly recommended so we drove across town. The place was empty when we arrived but once we were at the counter another couple of people walked in to order as well. I had the #1 & my wife ordered the boneless chicken. Shockingly it took about ten minutes to get our order but it was smoking hot so I guess they were out of something at the time of our order. The first glance the chicken looked great but the bone was jet black like it had been frozen for a long time & u could tell in the taste too. The okra was way over cooked and crispy. It wasn't the best experience right out of the gate let me tell ya. Within 15 minutes or so of leaving it made me sick on the side of the 429 headed home. I was craving fried shrimp and decided to give this place a try. And let me say they didn't disappoint. I ordered Uber eats the six piece shrimp box. The shrimp was so good and flavorful. It was well seasoned and had a nice seasoning salt flavor. I also tried their two piece chicken deal and the chicken was nice and crispy. Definitely had a nice crunch. Not your average Popeyes. Let me also point out that there is some tough competition literally within a few feet of each other. Popeyes is there, just as Church's Chicken is there. But out of these three, I will go with this independent chicken place due to the quality of their food and their customer service. This business is located on Orange Blossom Trail and South Street. There is relatively decent parking and as I have said before, the staff is very friendly. Out of the many options that they offer I would recommend the wings. It is places like this that I truly love finding. All too often we Overlook them, we think it looks too grungy or the neighborhood isn't the right kind of neighborhood for many. This is another chicken spot that I like to visit. It's only 3 minutes from my house. It's a go to when I want some fried chicken with friendly smiles. It sits across the street from Orlando Police Department which gives you a spectacular view of the modernization. When I do visit I tend to get the lunch special. So my boydruwwent through the drive-through and the customer service was phenomenal. The gentleman behind the drive-through was incredible and he was super patient while ordering. On the drive home the smell of the food had us salivating. I ordered 15 wings in a sauce mixture of teriyaki and garlic, and my boyfriend ordered cheese fries and a cheese burger. This is literally the place that you drive by 1 million times while living in Central Florida and you never ever realize that there any good. However it was recommended to me by my boss and I decided to just check it out one day. If I were recommending this to anyone else I would say get the lemon pepper wings and tell them you want it 'wet and crispy'. I promise you, you will not regret it. The prices are right on point and cheaper than Popeyes. I ordered the hot garlic 6pc combo with lemonade. Unfortunately it tasted too good to take a picture BuT when I go back (which i most definitely will be) I will take a pic of my order. The fries were crispy shoe string style. The wings were real wings so if you are used to wing stop or places that break the wing into a flapper and drum then you will be happy to know that you're getting more here. The hot garlic is very sexy. Spicy, garlicy, savory, hint of butter, and full bodied. Oh its gooood. I also tried the regular chicken wings with the roll. Baby that roll is BOMB and the chicken wings didn't disappoint either. Overall, solid. And that lemonade. Baby its sweet and sugary...so you most definitely will feel diabetic after you finish. This spot is my absolute favorite chicken spot here in Orlando !! The chicken is always fresh , hot , and seasoned very well. When I say hot , I mean hot like you take a bite and you actually have to wait for it to cool down lol. When I first arrived, there was a somewhat disheveled worker aggressively mopping the floor with vengeance. He appeared unsettled and moved some furniture to barricade the restroom entrance. After I ordered, I proceeded to wait a good 20 minutes for what they called their "monster burger" I made it past the barricades to the restroom which was clean. Upon getting to the drive-through window the manager said they were making the wings fresh very exciting. I think it was three dollars and some change. Well honestly I can't say that the chicken was good it was mediocre to say the least I would not order chicken from them again I prefer KFC or Popeyes and that was while it was freshly made so I can just imagine otherwise.
