So Bin Bong was vey ok. I got a regular boba milk tea with soy milk and my friend got a brown sugar boba tea, theirs was way better than mine. Mine was very watery and there was not much boba in it. The price is a bit high but if you find a drink you like it may be worth it. Mine was $9. You can choose your sweetness which I like because I got half sweet and if I got full it would have been way too sweet. The cups are really cute and I love the animal crossing theme of the cafe. It did take about 20 mins to get our order because there was only one person working. They do offer a lot of fun desserts, but I wanted to try a classic boba tea first. I ordered the mango sago. It was bland and didn't have a fresh mango flavor. The service was quick, but it was quite warm in there and not a very enjoyable place to hang out for too long. I've passed by this building plenty of times and never knew what was here! It feels like a hidden gem in the mills district. I ordered the creme brulee boba. My friend ordered the pandan dessert and salted egg cream matcha. They were all delicious! The dessert was something I was most intrigued about and to my surprise it was actually very good. It's a lighter dessert so you won't feel too filled or think it's too sweet. If you like less sweet desserts, this is a great one to try. Service was super fast and people come here to chat but also bring laptops to get work done. They have an area where you can sit on the floor with pillows and that's where many people had their laptops. BinBong is a dessert shop with a good amount of seating and WiFi for anyone who wants to work for a bit of time. My dessert was alright, though other options on their menu might be better. The person working at the shop recommended the multi-flavor tofu pudding, and I chose the pandan-flavored tofu to go with it. It was sooo adorable and jiggly that I wanted to love it. However, the pandan flavor doesn't really come through, and I was done with the tofu before I was even halfway through the cold foam. The proportions of the single-flavor tofu pudding seem better, so I'd recommend sticking with that. I enjoyed the salted egg foam the most, while the sea salt was a no-go for me. When I stepped foot into BinBong, I immediately felt calm. The environment is very relaxing. There's a lot of seating with outlets available for use so if you wanna work or study, this is a great spot. I've ordered the crème brûlée latte and it's delicious. It comes in a very cute presentation with a candle to keep it warm. You also get a free refill for hot lattes. I also tried the tofu pudding in the flavor Pandan with Matcha cold foam and it was so good. The tofu pudding is so cute in the shape of a cat and I like that it's not too sweet. The price is pretty expensive for what you get. The boba didn't have any flavor just chewy balls, would have been better if it was sweetened. The milk tea was ok, tasted pretty diluted in my opinion. The cheese mousse wasn't too bad, different from what I'm used, to but not bad. Overall ok, I probably wouldn't go again given many other good options for boba in the area. Came here on a rainy Saturday. It was very busy with limited seating. We arrived around 4:30 pm to order and weathered the rain for some yummy, jiggly, cute desserts. It took about 40 minutes for our first order to arrive. I ordered the matcha foam tofu pudding and a matcha affogato. My friend ordered a matcha drink as well and the sakura foam tofu pudding. We were patient, catching up and chatting while we waited. When the second order came out, I noticed the waitress offered it to the first table by the registers. It seemed strange since those girls had ordered way after us and it looked like the order my friend had paid for. A few minutes later, I flagged the waitress down and asked about our second order. She apologized and admitted she had placed it at the wrong table. She went back to retrieve it from the stranger's table and then brought it to us. We accepted the matcha drink as it looked untouched but kindly asked for a new sakura pudding since it had been sitting at another table for a while. It's odd that they don't have any system to organize orders no name writing, table numbers, verifying receipts or even order announcements. Simply setting food at the first table you see isn't great practice, especially when customers have been waiting 40 minutes already. This is a health code violation to serve something that's been sitting at another guest's table. Industry standard, if food hits the wrong table you don't attempt to reserve it to the correct table since it's a flagrant health code violate. Looking back we probably shouldn't have accepted the matcha drink either but after waiting all that time my friend was parched! After we declined the sakura tofu pudding and asked for a remake of the sakura tofu pudding, the runner returned that same dessert back to the other table and gave them a complimentary dessert, while we waited even longer for ours to come out. The matcha affogato was okay. It was more like an iced matcha with a scoop of vanilla ice cream than a true affogato. I expected it to be a hot matcha with ice cream. The matcha tofu pudding was super cute and delicious. The sakura tofu pudding was surprisingly salty but still tasty. Overall, the desserts were fun and pretty but the service and order handling really need improvement. Implementing a better order system would go a long way and educating runners on health code violations. read more

We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, it was not busy. The atmosphere is quite comforting, with bright walls, wooden panels, ample natural light, and plants throughout. They also played relaxing piano music. It's felt like a great spot to maybe read a book, write, or study. We ordered the coffee coconut frappe and the cheese foam peach tea. The coffee coconut frappe was very good (for coconut lovers). The peach tea was also very pleasant, with the cheese foam giving it a little complexity. Both drinks were worth the visit and I'll probably return to try something else. For a drink we tried the salted caramel creme milk tea for $8 and an extra $1 for boba. The drink was good but it was pretty small considering $9. I liked the consistency of the boba, they were a good size with the right chewy texture. I kept seeing the little cat tofu pudding from here on Tiktok so I had to try this place! The inside is super cute and they even have a floor seating option with pillows. The staff here is really nice and answered all the questions we had about the menu. The Vietnamese coffee here is so good! They also come in the cutest little clear cat cups. The foam on top was also delicious. We got the bun ice cream which was a big miss for us. It was a brioche bun with ice cream inside, I wouldn't recommend it. I am not sure why there is so many bad reviews, but did notice most of these do not have many reviews done. So keep that in mind. We had dinner at Tori Tori so we just walked over so can't comment about the parking, it's a short walk across the street. Building is located in a corner and it's open and seems clean. The staff was very welcoming when we walked in and we ordered at the counter. There is also a tablet to your right if you do not wish to talk to someone. Got the Vietnamese coffee, a lemonade, ice cream sandwich and the egg tofu pudding. There is many tables, again all clean, decorations are very cute inside. There is even an area where you can sit on the floor (on cushions), don't forget to take your shoes off. It took a little while but it's fine. The coffee was strong and delicious and lemonade was good too. The egg tofu pudding was fun, it's shaped like a cat and it's super cute. The tofu itself was soft but doesn't have flavor but the egg custard that it was sitting in was silky and together it was delicious. Husband said that he liked his ice cream sandwich too. read more

Omg these desserts are so cute (and seriously so good)! We heard Bin Bong was in their soft opening and have been eager to check them out ever since they took over the old space. We stopped by for dessert after dinner and they did an amazing job with the space; it's unrecognizable! The interior is light and bright, with loads of seating options, including a raised platform for "floor" seating. There's also a super cute outdoor seating area too. Bin Bong specializes in Vietnamese and Asian drinks and desserts -- if you've ever seen those cute jelly desserts or boba flans online, this is the place to get them. We ordered the Bin Bong Crème Caramel, Egg Crème Tofu Pudding, and the Fresh Coconut Jelly. The desserts were very refreshing and just what I needed after walking in from the hot day outside. The desserts weren't overly sweet and were light and delicious. The boba on the Crème Caramel was perfectly prepared too -- the boba honestly tasted homemade. Service was good! They have some training to complete and fine-tune, but this is what a soft opening is for. Everyone was very friendly and we got our desserts relatively quickly. Will def be back for their drinks! Tofu pudding: this one, oh boy! AMAZING! This dessert took me back to when I was in the Philippines, we have a dessert called taho, which is the same soft tofu dessert. The egg cream coffee was ok, but did I mention the cups were not filled? It was all ice. Headed to lineage to get a cold brew, no ice, $6.75 for a 16oz.
