Do not visit the location in "Alderwood" for anything. The car wash here is damaging. We had our antenna ripped off and a previous van dented. These things happen and are not uncommon. On a beautiful Saturday the Lynnwood locations car wash was unfortunately closed. Against our better judgement we went to the dreaded Alderwood location to clean our son's car. The car wash started and immediately the middle of the windshield cracked and then spidered into the entire windshield. We reported the incident immediately and took several photos. There was no manager on duty on a Saturday? We then contacted him first thing Monday morning. He insisted we drive the car back where he told us the crack was in the inside...hmm. I guess not only is he a weekday manager but also a glass expert. We have tried several times to get anyone (else) to return our calls to no avail and there is apparently no other manager to talk to at anytime onsite. Our insurance has told us they will not cover it as it is considered third party damage. Not to mention at time of purchase on the inspection of the vehicle no windshield damage was found. So my (Autistic) 16 year old is left with a car that is illegal to drive. Thanks Levine family, we will never use your company again. We will now determine if this is worth pursuing in small claims court. read more

Prices were clearly visible from the road today for the Mr. Kleen 76 gas station/car wash on 196th Street Southwest in Lynnwood this midday, Tuesday 28 April 2026. Pulling in was without obstruction as was operating the kiosk at the pumping stall I used. The colors on the station were vibrant, something that really made an impact up-close. For the payment/selecting a fuel grade part of the process, a car wash option was presented early on. While I selected no, I did notice a sign by the road when my car was fueling up that communicated gas price(s) were 10 cents cheaper with a car wash option. The receipt printed at the stall once I was done fueling. The only hiccup I encountered was with the handless feature of the nozzle I used, I tried to prop the handle up and the clip-like feature kept sliding out. read more

Ive been using this car wash forever. Today I took my car to be washed, gave the guy a $10 tip, he didn't call it out? Went through, no real extra scrubbing, thus why I tip. Left the place and went back to my place. I got out of the car and went to get my checkbook from the trunk to go in and pay my rent. The entire back of the car had not been touched by water or a scrub brush. It was as dirty as when I drove in. There is a brand new, top notch, state of the art car wash, in Mountlake Terrace, close to the High School. Guess where I will be taking my business from now on. I got home and spent 45 minutes washing the entire bottom halff of both sides of my car and all 4 wheels along with the usual areas car washes never get. I'm a little tired of Jiffy Lube for various reasons so printed a coupon for Mr. Kleen. They were done in 15 minutes with no upsell and a free car wash! They have a waiting area in the convenience store which seems to be a pretty large space. I would suggest they upgrade their magazines and show Olympics on TV instead of ads but I had my phone so it's ok. read more

This store should change the name from Mr Kleen to Mr Filthy. My auto service mechanic told me: "Who changed your oil last time, that guy is sooo sloppy." I gotta pay at least $100 for Toyota serice to clean up the mess you guys made. The oil had been leaking for 3 weeks, I was so worry about it, I don't have a jack so that I had to bring my car to Toyota service to check it up. Then I found out there is nothing wrong, just because you guys did not respect me and did a terrible job. I guess you are too lazy to clean up after the job, or thinking I'm a girl so I don't care about my car. And it also was my first time having service there, I guess you guys underestimate me. I live in Burien but drove up to Lynnwood to support your business. I live in a complex apartment which always has surveillance cameras everywhere, it means all what I said is true, the landlord had to come up to me to complain about the oil leaking from under my car, making my parking spot is a mess. I'm so disappointed about what happened. have had two oil changes this year and neither did the vacuum take place. then the bolts were put on so tight on my oil pan (as i do usually do my own oil few times a year). i had to go get special tool to get bolt off the oil pan. the oil filter was hardly put in - so i think the service has gotten a bit lacking- i have been coming here for years and it's usually really good. free coffee, no more and the little tables are gone as well. read more

2nd time coming in for an oil change and i must say they are very half-assed. They give you a checklist showing the status of everything from air filter to wiper blades to hoses etc. So tell me why after my less than 10 minute oil change did they tell me everything looks great and handed me said checklist also saying everything is "OK" when it in fact is not??? my battery was totally corroded and covered in battery acid build up, and my break fluid is less than half way full??? Not to mention my ground wire on the battery completely disintegrated without even messing with it. Do you think that just because I'm a young woman you can pull the wool over my eyes because that's definitely what it seems like. You'd also think that because they charge so much for a 5 minute procedure they'd actually check the things they're supposed to check. I come here to this gas station quite a bit because of their relatively low gas prices and their car washes. I love the fact that they have so many people working here and to me, it feels good that the owners seem to really care about the community by doing that. All the employees here are fantastic. From the mart, to the car washers, to the deli, and after my visit here, even the oil changers. I have an Audi Q7 and was planning to take it to a dealership, but they wanted double what I was paying and I would have to drive far just to get an oil change. I remember when I used to pay $20 for oil changes on my old Honda, man have times changed. This place is a great mix of everything you would want in a gas station and it's easy to see why. Spent $16 for car wash here and left unimpressed. First, it didnt wash the car, especially back if my MDX and both sides. Second, person drying the car MUST have seen the wash didnt do its job but he didnt care. Why is it that after spending $16, i have to finish washing the car at home?? Its either their wash machines are not effective/simply dont work or they programmed car wash to QUICK regardless of plan purchased bc there was a long line. Overall, very disappointed! read more

I had my son go in to ask some questions at the Alderwood Mall market portion of that location. I am using a crutch after an operation and was trying to save myself some steps. He is in his 30s and has high functioning autism but is capable of handling himself quite well in public. The people behind the counter said in voices that he could hear "he's looking at the stairs, what a weirdo." My son heard this, and I was livid when I found out. It was a terrible thing to say in my son's presence, and I asked him if he wanted me to go in and talk with the people and he said no, he just wanted to leave, so we did NOT use that location for our car wash. Switch scenes to the Lynnwood location on 44th: We went inside the little market (I was taking no chances on how he would be treated) and the folks there apologized and said the roof was being worked on and the tunnel was closed for the day. I then told them about what happened at the Alderwood mall location and they were shocked, and apologized profusely that we encountered such unprofessional people. They also gave me a coupon for a free car wash, which I just used yesterday and everyone treated me wonderfully and did an excellent job on a very dirty car! I will go back again soon - I am moving to Montana which makes me sad we won't be able to go a lot, but this place treats their customers well, they do a great job and I will go back again! read more

I'm responding to all the no-mask car wash complainers. ok--your views and opinions. However your contact with the staff is so minimal, i doubt you are at any meaningful risk. Nearly 6 feet away, outside and not prolonged contact. The mask does not stop the virus--it's too small. You would need a full-on sealed viral safety suit. Lastly, your drive to the car wash is statistically more deadly than any virus. Perspective, people. Bodies are not laying around blocking the car wash lanes like the Black Death. If you are that frightened, go elsewhere or don't leave your house. Life is all about relative risks. This is not a big one. I know, having gone about my life post cancer treatments--that's WAAY riskier to my system. Before leaving a review I read a couple reviews the only negative thing i saw was on oil change or car wash; I have not used these services But to the owner manager whoever is making this place function most likely whoever is hiring I have never met anyone that was not welcoming Thats an understatement they are inviting and kind attentive. Ive lived in snohomish county my whole life just outside of lynnwood . I had an issue at my house that made me have to stay at an airbnb just up the street and didnt know this place was 24 hrs but needed to go here cuz of circumstances. the employees are top notch If i need to be uplifted im coming here. I drove up as a first time customer, and almost immediately greeted and someone took my information. I was told it would be about 20 minutes, so I walked across the street to the bookstore. The time estimates were accurate. The staff was incredibly friendly, and no one tried to upsell me to things I didn't need like you will have at other in and out oil change places. My car make is known to have an issue, and the mechanic explained to me what to watch for to make sure I wasn't caught unprepared. (Thank you, Raymond) I got my (included) car wash right away, and it was quick and efficient. I will say, the "Amenities and More" section on this site is inaccurate. Mine was the only mask I saw, and the restrooms are very clearly *not* gender neutral -- a giant cut out of James Dean on one with "Guys" above, and Marilyn Monroe on the other with "Gals" -- however they were single stall and clean. read more

The car wash is fine; those things don't vary too much. There's a less-expensive one over on 99 at 212th, but this one does the job and isn't a crazy amount higher in the final bill. The mini-mart is impressive, as mini-marts go: they have hot sandwiches that are surprisingly good, and they have a dozen beers on tap, available in growler fills to go. Some surprisingly good kegs on offer. The sandwiches and beer are listed on Yelp as a separate business. Most of all, these guys consistently have the best gas prices in Lynnwood for a station that doesn't carry remaindered/auction gas, or whatever you call the discount stuff. They're my regular stop, often $0.40 less per gallon than other stations. No lie. Bathrooms are always clean, and they're inside, no key needed. read more

Make sure you tip them well or the kids that wipe your car down at the end of the car wash will barely wipe it at all and send you off with a smug smile. I literally had my tip money out and ready for them and put it away when they gave the thumbs up that they were done with a 3 sec wipe down and water still all over the car. The absolute BEST experience ever. I've been brining my truck here for a while now. I'm totally impressed that they always remember me, even though it's 3-4 months between services. Last time I was in, I had a tail light out and they swapped it out for a minimal charge. This time, they noticed that one of my wipers was messed up and they replaced both blades for half the cost of what it would have been at the car supply shop. Very decent car wash especially for the money. The "ultimate works" will set you back only 14.99 which is a steal compared to most places. This includes carnauba wax coating, underchassis coating sealant and spray foam. Be warned they wont do rims because some guys have lost fingers this way. They have the towel service people at the end which is nice. I was still rolling off the belt though and didnt know when I should stop. I inspected my car when I got to work and noticed only a few little spots here and there. I am happy with the results. I would have tipped if they had been friendly though which they were not. This is a customer serviced based job and the two guys working did not look thrilled to be there. Defienelty expected a little bit better attitudes but its not a deal breaker. Have stopped in here for gas and/or getting a drink, haven't used their car wash or oil change services. The last time I was here, it was before Easter and the owner was at the entrance dressed in a variety of spring colors with an Easter basket offering me candy and a coupon for discounts on future oil changes and car washes. Prices are more expensive on bottles of Coke here than you will find elsewhere but it's convenient. The employees are friendly. read more

I particularly liked the minimal up-sell/ cross-selling during the oil change experience. I was meeting a friend up north and planned to include a car wash of the automated tunnel variety... well, no Brown Bear convenient so I found this place. It's similar to Brown Bear but a neat change and variety is good! The process was smooth, staff was cool and you can pull into shade during the afternoon to evening.
