I called the phone in Google map, a lady answering the phone saying their office is in Vancouver. They waste my time locating them in Surrey. Now seeing all these BAD comments about them. Luckily I don't need to get another insult from this shady company. I don't think they have a physical location, just whole bunch of YO-YO, waiting for another sucker to get caught by them. It is hard to find a locksmith STORE, with physical location you can bring your own lock to get a key made.

They arrived at my house promptly and…read morereplaced it. 2 mos later I went to insert the key in ignation and saw insertion part of key was missing. Assuming a broken faulty key, contacted. Told I must have broken the key myself through force which is not possible. To come out and assess then fix would be $2000. I thought the missing part must still be in the ignition but couldn't see it. Had to call BCAA to get me home. The tech told me there was nothing in the ignition. I looked at the key head again and it did not look broken. The key they made has 2 pieces inserted into each other, so had come apart. They must have known this was the problem but were not honest. 11:30 at night. Home by 2am. Be aware these keys are cheaply made, come apart, not reliable. Get a proper one from a dealer. The company did not take any responsibility for what happened. They should inform the customer of this potential problem

We originally had a top of the line lock installed, then later changed it to a cheap deadbolt. It was a waste of time for everyone. We highly recommend you spend the money for a secure deadbolt. The cheap one kept failing in the below zero temps. It's made of cheap metal. The more expensive deadbolt won't do this. We've been highly satisfied with A-Line every time. Thank you, A-Line.

Unfortunately I had misplaced my receipt over the years and wanted to inquire for a new one. Before making the call, I had on hand the "key number" card that was given to me at the time, for I was told it was important since it determines which type of lock it is. Thinking it was enough information for a receipt, I called the number printed on the card. A woman picks up and asks me what day I had my lock done and that the key number given to me is of no use. I couldn't remember the exact date, but gave her the approximate months. I asked if she would be able to send me a copy of it through email. She responds with "We don't have email, only fax". I found it highly absurd that a business did not have an email so to make sure I was hearing things right I asked again and nope, A-Line Locksmith doesn't own an email account. Since I didn't have fax I asked if she could send me a picture of the receipt through a cellular phone, which she responds with not owning a cellphone either. Then I asked if there's an office for me to pick up the receipt, for which she responds with "Richmond" at first, then correcting herself to only being mobile and there are no locations for me to get it. Shocked at what I'm hearing, I tell her I didn't have a fax machine and (this is my favourite part) she responds with, "I have thousands of receipts to go through, if you don't have a fax machine then you're wasting my time!" I was pretty upset by then and told her to give me a call when she finds it. After hanging up I couldn't put my finger on why all of that didn't make sense... then it hit me, my FIRST communication with A-Line Locksmith was through TEXT MESSAGING. I had inquired about a lock with a text message which included a picture! I go online to find their website, and I was right, they have a cellphone and email. I text them letting them know that I had called earlier and didn't understand the lie about not having these forms of communication when it clearly states it on their site. I texted the approximate months for when I had the lock done and asked again for the receipt to be sent to me. No response. The long weekend goes by. No call back. The following week I gave them a call and left them a voicemail. No response. I called them again and of course they didn't pick up, nor called me back. Sure, A-Line Locksmith is great when they want your business but after that, you're really of no value to them. After 30+ years of business you would think that they have learned a thing or two about customer service. If you need a lock done, spend your hundreds of dollars elsewhere.

Mr Quick Fob has tons of reviews all over Google and he was voted #1 for something I saw on Google…read moresomewhere, I think for FOB copying. So my story begins with a car dealership scamming me. The car dealership sold me a defective car key FOB for my car at $125. It didn't have a trunk opener for my car because they said "there were none available at the time and not made anymore" (totally a lie). I met Mr Quick Fob and he programmed me a brand new different car key FOB that had a trunk opener on it and so now, I can open my trunk with just a click! The dealership lied to me, so from now on, I will only do business with Mr Quick Fob if anything goes wrong with my car key FOB from now on. His price was cheaper than the car dealership too. So I paid less for a much better FOB with more options on it (lock, unlock, panic button and trunk opener) which a car dealership said didn't exist for my car. One thing I noticed was that Mr Quick Fob's car has tons of key machinery stuff in it. He was able to make a new key for me on site and have the car key fob made and programmed right on the spot. I highly advise him if you need a car key FOB. Skip the car dealership and check out Mr Quick Fob first. I'll post photos later of the junk FOB the dealership sold me and the nicer one Mr Quick Fob sold me for a lesser price.
