This experience was a total disappointment. Way overpriced Horsham was way too small, not cooked well, wouldn't go back.

The place seems ideal for larger groups watching sports tbh, screens everywhere, lively open room, etc. Listen, is this some romantic dinner or high end steakhouse? Not in my opinion. But it does deliver on the classics with an unassuming vibe.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I couldn't decide between the hamburger and the chicken club. I really love the clubhouse sandwiches at Garwood Grill and Roxies and was hoping for some of the same here. Unfortunately, their version of a chicken club is just a regular chicken sandwich with bacon and tomato added. On top of that, my chicken was burned and the burned parts were quite tough. I did not want to complain and have to wait for another chicken sandwich though. The fries were OK but as we got close to the bottom, they seem to get tough and grainy. It is a little difficult to explain. Their onion rings as an appetizer were absolutely fantastic. The buffalo chicken sandwich was OK. The hamburger was decent. This is kind of like a sports bar feel and they had large TV setups. It is a very open restaurant so there was a relatively loud background noise, but otherwise OK. While the service was very good , the food was basically average for the main meals. Overall, not really worth the cost for me.

Service and food is usually good but can be inconsistent. I've had a few things including Perogies, steak dinner and fish. I've had different soups, all very good. The daily promo is usually very good value and if you order, the soup is usually discounted. They have a seniors menu with smaller portions that is good value. Although it's good food, portioning is also inconsistent. I had a great steak that came with potato and vegetables that was all very filling. I've had perogies but there were only 2. I thought 4-6 would be more appropriate. That meal was not good value and I won't order it again. They have all day breakfast with lots of offerings. Overall it's a very good restaurant that is inside the Co-op Truck Stop on the west end of Winkler.

The hamburger was not freshly cooked and it tasted like it had been sitting cold then warmed up. Tough as nails! The gravy was for sure not home made but made from a powder mix. Dreadful! I ordered the 12 oz New York strip with a twice baked potato, and everything was spot on. Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, super juicy and tender. The potato was packed with flavor--bacon bits and chives mixed in, just how it should be. They start you off with some warm bread (always a win), and I had a hazy IPA that paired really well with the meal. The service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and on point. Definitely planning to come back next time I'm in Canada and try some of the other cuts!

Friendly service! I opted for the bone-in rib steak & added lobster tail, twice baked potato & mushrooms on the side. The lobster tail was definitely the star of the show on the plate. The lobster meat was sweet enough, the butter wasn't even necessary. The rib steak was a bit too peppery for me and didn't have the marbling I usually find in this cut. The twice baked potato was good, and I can see how some people are a fan of it. I prefer thin mushroom slices and not the whole mushroom, but again, to each their own. A bit on the pricier side, so might be worth a try if you're around and want a bit nicer of a dinner.

We were meeting a customer and a company we work with who is located here in Winnipeg. We were told…read moreabout dinner, how it's one of the nicest spots in town and they absolutely delivered. It's in a beautiful large home, but has some private dining areas and a cool bar right when you walk ins We were early for dinner so a few of us ordered drinks. I ended up having one of the best spicy margaritas ever. Craftsmanship is crucial here, and they have a broad offering of cocktails, wines and liquors. Aiden helped us get situated at the bar. Watched him and the others work as fast as possible to make sure the bar was set, also the dinner tables too. Should not have had two but how often will I be in Winnipeg? We were seated upstairs in a private room. Perfect for a business dinner. Russell was our server and he was top level. Helpful, professional and helped make good choices for our table. We had bread service, onion rings towers, and I ordered a French onion soup that knocked my socks off. I saw the people who knew the restaurant the best order mojitos and how could I say no? That was the best drink of the night, the mint smelled so fresh, like someone literally grew it outside. For dinner I had the 10 oz ribeye mid rare and with a side of cognac peppercorn sauce which was almost too delicious that I tried not to dunk my steak in it rather than so the polite thing and pour it on my plate. The table ordered potatoes gratin, lobster mac n cheese, spinach, asparagus with Bernaise sauce, and cauliflower and I'll be honest I was holding on to make sure I ate the steak so I only had some bread and a couple onion rings, then with dinner I had some cauliflower and passed on everything else. Our customer is known here, so the service and food were impeccable. Russell was funny, and gave as good as he received when trying to razz him a bit. For dessert I thought why not order a couple scoops of ice cream? In Winnipeg, a scoop is basically two in the US. Way too much ice cream but presented beautifully with gooseberries and fresh fruit, along with a sauce for each the salted caramel and the dark chocolate. I'm in my hotel but this meal was a great way for me to end the day with customers and would be friends in business. A class group at a classier spot for a memorable dinner. We were with my mom who is elderly and has mobility issues. They did everything to accommodate and make her feel comfortable. We had to take her back after appetizers, as it was too much for her to stay for the full meal and the restaurant held our main courses until my family got back from taking her home. They could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We were so grateful! It's in a restored mansion on Wellington Crescent. The vibe and atmosphere is wonderful. Five stars, can't wait to go back!

It's on the pricier side but if you're looking for a more upscale dinner location that serves incredibly unique food, this would be the place to go. Our server greeted us with with an amazingly relaxed and zen energy. She explained menu to us; essentially, it was a 4 course meal (2 starters/apps, one main, and one dessert). Each person got to choose 4 dishes, and it was recommended that each person chose a different dish so that everyone could share and have a taste of everything, so we did exactly that. They gave us an amuse-bouche, which was a tortilla chip with some veggies and herbs on it. We weren't expecting to get it so it was a nice suprise. There was lots of flavour packed into the tiny cracker, so we knew we were in for a ride. For our first course, we ordered the lavash with onion spread and the shaved dear. Both were stellar (and this is my personal favourite course). The lavash with the spread had an interesting array of flavours and although there was a lot happening it worked really well. The shaved deer was likewise just as good. The herbs and peanut really came through. We then ordered the scallops and the quesadilla. The mushroom quesadilla came in a pocket form, with a mushroom filling. The sauce combination worked really well, and the filling was creamy and well-flavoured. The scallops were fine, though a little disappointing. The pickled rhubarb, although amazing, kind of took attention from the scallops themselves, which was just decent. Our mains were the drunk prik chicken and the ravioli. The chicken was really good, and it was reminiscent of an elevated Chinese fried rice dish. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it was deceptively huge. The ravioli was quite nice as well. The filling was pork filling was great and savoury, though I wasn't a big fan of the braised vegetable. Finally, the dessert came. We ordered the tres leches and the coconut sorbet. The sorbet was really refreshing and I liked how every aspect incorporated the coconut (from the ice cream to the whip). The tres leches cake was next level and is probably my favourite thing I had that day. The cake was moist and sweet, and the tortilla ice cream elevated it. They gave us free chocolates to end our meal, which was again a nice surprise to an amazing dinner. I like how their menu incorporates different cuisines (such as Chinese, Mexican, and Filipino) and they do so in an elevated interesting way. Do keep in mind that this place is more of an upscale dining experience so you may find the 4-course portions lacking, in which case you can order the honey buns which I heard great things about. Overall, this dinner place is amazing and I would highly recommend it!

What a lovely evening. D+A is a fairly small space. Make a reservation.
