I first moved to Sarasota in 1998. I bought two Harleys from a dealer in Sarasota and Manatee County. I dealt with them for approximately five years. Adequate work, but I thought I was getting taken to the cleaners every time. Then I went to an independent who was very inexpensive, but his work was sloppy. He put a six speed transmission in my Road King. It works great, except for the fact that the heel toe shifter never returned to the neutral position, making shifting a chore. About 30,000 miles ago I went to Precision Cycle. The owner, Ron and the writer/mechanic Rob were two of the nicest guys I've ever met. they have excellent mechanics. Ron calles you a couple of days after works been done just to check and make sure that everything is still to your satisfaction. I trust them and Precision Cycle implicitly, and would have absolutely no problem recommending them to anyone.
