I used yelp to send out the job request to a dozen landscapers in the Boston area and we ended up having 6 come to the property to provide estimates. Jerry's estimate was 25% less than any of the other companies, including the big name ("& sons") in Milton. Jerry provided the estimate within 24 hours (unlike half the landscapers who provided estimates, who took as long as 2 weeks to submit) and also was able to work us in to their schedule much much earlier than I expected based on conversations with other landscapers. The team appeared to be using top of the line equipment and were amazingly professional throughout their time on the job. Fantastic work and 100% I have already begun recommending their work to my neighbors, so I'm looking forward to seeing Rhudd's back on the street soon I hope.

I agreed to send, as well as some photos of the work needed. I rec'd a text 9:14pm that evening asking if I was "still planning to send me your info for me to come see your property"? I replied with my address and a promise to send photos in the morning, with notice that I'm a caregiver and "sometimes I get caught up". I sent photos of my property the next morning (Thursday). I heard nothing from Mr. Rhutt on Friday so I called Saturday, and in our convo he said he would come by Sunday and look at the property. I asked what time, he said afternoon. Sunday afternoon came and went. No call, no show. That's very frustrating.

Gleison, one of the owners, came out the next day to take a look at the property and give a free consultation during which he was very nice, helpful and clearly passionate about his craft. His crew did the work the day after with Gleison working alongside. They were efficient, professional and did quality work in just a few hours cleaning up the entire front and backyard of pine needles and leaves and then mowing, aerating and seeding at a very reasonable price. They even quoted a gutter cleanup at 2x less than what I paid in the past. I will continue to use Mow and Grow in the future.

I live directly across the street from a building whose parking lot GLC plows. They routinely,…read moreincluding today, plow all the snow from the parking lot across a major street - Centre Street in Jamaica Plain - and leave it on the street in front of our building. This is in violation of city ordinances to not dump snow on the street, is totally disrespectful of others since they leave a deep and high wall of snow where our parking spaces are and on road which is used by cars and buses on city emergency access road where one can't park during snow emergencies. They're rude and obnoxious.
