The staff made us feel unsafe in the store. When we asked about a gun behind the counter, they would shoot us with it and "make us dance" in the parking lot if we tried to take it. I'm over 21 years old (the legal rifle/ pistol buying age) and they treated me like I was trying to rob the store. Everyone behind the counter stared at me and made me feel uncomfortable. I can only imagine that they were racially profiling me but there is no way for me to know for sure. Based on the small interactions I had with the staff, I would not recommend this pawn shop to anyone. read more

I've been a loyal customer for 10 years. My wife and I were planning to get a firearm for her so that she can have a way to protect herself when I'm not around. I took her out to eat Denny's and be able to take her to Mr. Pawn to get her first firearm. Upon arriving, we were greeted by an employee who helped us chose the right firearm. I was going to buy it for her, but she decided she wanted to buy it herself. The manager Bobby was very quick to judge and declined the purchase. Never coming back again. I've been in the BHC "Mr. Pawn" on numerous occasions to browse and buy (Buckmark / ammo). Small...tidy...cheery...excellent prices...ALWAYS a courteous, helpful staff. Been in a few others...this one would have to be the "Cadillac". I don't know about the "no grace period!" complaint since I've never pawned anything. But the other bad review about racism seems so out of character that I find it (especially the bit about "dancing") a trifle hard to believe. read more

Brought in a never worn pair of oakleys with the $250 receipt in the package and the guy behind the counter said he wouldn't take them. Said they were fake and slid them on the lenses back at me aggressively. Then I said look at the receipt, they're straight from the Vegas mall Oakley store! Then he said nope I'll pass because they're scratched. I said no they're not! He then snatched them out of my hands rudely and wiped his filthy fingers all over the lenses and asked the woman behind the counter if they wanted to take some fake, scratched, and smudged oakleys. She said f**k no! And they told me to leave. Not only will I never give them a penny of business, but I will tell everyone I know of their rude and unprofessional business. Maybe if you cared about having a reputable business you would hire somebody that actually knows what they're doing and doesn't treat others belongings as such. Our country is suffering from a extremely terrible Pandemic, and I was almost one of those to loose my battle of Covid-19 by the graces of the man upstairs I am still here to let Jarrod the owner know how disappointing of a human being he is. I was in Utah and was infected by the Covid-19 on May 08 2020 I was very sick with a temperature of 104 degrees unable to lift my head and ultimately quarantined. I had just got home to Bullhead City on May 25th and found that my pawn was due and it became due when I was in Utah extremely sick. I went to the store right away and explained everything to them. And this is what Micayla the manager said to me sorry we sold your Gun. She said they called me on a number that I have not had in over a year but I did the original pawn in January 2020 and I know I gave my new number but I seen it was not on my paperwork they gave me I even renewed the loan in March 2020 and gave my information again. I told them that this was wrong and that in my condition I was at a total disadvantage and they could not give a hoot. Can not wait to see Jarrods lame response to this he going to state policy and not human compassion, its very simple they stole $1250.00 firearm from me within 7 days of being late and I had no control over the Covid-19 pandemic or my illness from it. And I was told I should have called ya how was I going to do that. Get ready to be sued Jarrod I am not going to let this go buddy.
