Starting with initial consultation all the way through final cleanup, I have been impressed, amazed, blown away, and stunned by the beauty my vintage yard can hold... David and Zach were very fair and honest and upfront with exact service, exact price, and if there were to be any additional items needed What they may look like. Power raking to remove all of the dead grass that's been there for who knows how many years amazing! The time and detail to explain what the growth cycle and cleanup cycle requires to keep a healthy yard was incredibly knowledgeable and informational and helpful for planning purposes. The level of professionalism speed and amount of work. These two men completed was outstanding. There was never a disruption in being able to "" live in my house during the process. The cleanup it was as if nobody had ever even dropped a leaf or a fragment of a stick outside of where it was meant to be placed. I am new to Denver from Florida and decided to try Mr Plow to do landscaping, grass cutting and trimming on over grown front yard and back yard. Before I go on, I will note that Mr Plow provided a refund on the work I describe below. If you are considering Mr Plow, i suggest to walk the property with them to get an accurate quote and set expectations properly. I initially asked for a quote and have them stop to talk to me, to provide details... but they did not have the time. Instead I was told they would"drive by" and later email me a quote... This is where I believe everything went sideways. Maybe if he had time to walk the property I would have never had this issue and rating. I don't have a large yard at all. See my picture of my lawn with a chair in the middle to understand how small the backyard is. So I was charged $135 for: Basic Service, bush and shrub trim, ornamental grass trim, trash removal. While they did trim things and cut my grass, they didn't finish the job, and rather than remove the trash... they filled up my trash can with the trimmings and grass... see pictures below. Again, I called and complained. While the phone conversation could have been better. In the end I emailed them about my trashcan being filled with trash and was provided a refund. read more

I should have listened over the years to all the horror stories I would hear from his employees. Long time customer burned by Mr Plows constant issues. - Over charging and terrible billing practices - Damage to our redone high end yard - No shows and constant excuses you never have any idea as to whats going on - Total lack of any sort of professionalism Absolutely the worst company you could ask to do your lawn or snow. Re: David, with Mr. Plow. Too bad we can't give negative stars! Finally getting around to write this review. I contacted him in May to get on his snow removal books for the upcoming season. I was told to follow up in June and we could get on his books for snow removal. I followed up with him as requested in June, he assured me that I was set to go for the winter season and just to check back with him. As the Autumn drew near, I checked in to see if I was still on his books and that we were still good for the winter season. As we began to discuss possible options in a minute phone conversation, he immediately got defensive, dismissive, talked through me and over me, and cussed at me call me a "liar" and a "bitch". Instead of approaching it on where the disconnect was, he became apart of the problem. As soon as that happened, I hung up and proceeded to communicate via text message for record. His banter, unprofessionalism, egotistical gandeur should make everyone steer clear of utilizing his services. He has delusions of adequacy are quite humorous. I moved to Denver and hired Mr.Plow for snow removal service at my house and thought to them a chance as his price was competitive. When the snowed his company did a very poor job. After I called and asked them to remedy the issue, they suddenly changed and were extremely rude. I told them that our agreement was that I am due to pay them for services performed and if they don't do a clean job I will hold back payment. Instead of them coming out and just finishing their 15 minute job, Dave, the owner started to literally threading me with that he would send out his workers to my front door to make sure I pay right there. I got shocked by his reaction and started looking him up on social media, and no wonder, he has horrible reviews. My mistake to not take those Yelp reviews more seriously. I would give this operation 0 stars if it were possible for such an astonishing level of unreliability and unprofessionalism. I wish I had read these reviews before hiring them. We had contracted Mr. Plow for snow removal services for our commercial properties last year. Last spring, after a major snow event, we were left for 2 days with no service. This effectively shut down the businesses of our tenants. We were told by the owner that their snow removal machines were all broken. We needed help desperately and asked if they could send a crew to help us manually dig out the walkways to at least restore access to the property while we waited. No help was offered and the owner, Dave, became verbally abusive and profane- screaming in my ear and leaving threatening messages on my phone. Even more than needing better equipment, the owner of this company is in need of some serious anger management training. Avoid this outfit at all costs! read more

Terrible experience. Consider yourself warned. Met David for a tour of the property. We moved into a home that badly needed the yard cleaned up. There were leaves and sticks everywhere, the lawn hadn't been mowed in weeks, and a garden was overflowing with weeds and debris. David offered the "Fall clean-up package," and we agreed that it would involve mowing, weeding the garden, cleaning out the debris in the yard, and raking up the leaves, etc. He required 1/2 of the payment up front, which I thought was odd. The whole job would cost $500. That seemed high, but there was a lot of labor that would be involved, so I agreed. A week later, he and another man came to the house. They stayed for 2 hours. At the "completion" of their work, it was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. There was garbage and debris left in the yard, no raking had been done, and a patch of lawn wasn't mowed. Though the weeds were removed from the garden, they left the entire side of the garden filled with the leaves and debris from weeding. A string of broken lights was left in the yard! My husband called him to inquire if they would be returning to finish the work. David was aggressively belittling to him. After the extremely unpleasant phone call, my husband decided to send a very civil message to him, explaining that the kind of business he is in relies on word of mouth, and that belittling a client will not help him in his business. David replied that he would come back the next day. I'll give 1/2 of a star because he did return and pick up SOME of the debris. The lawn was still not raked, and there were a few pieces of garbage in the corners. He did clear out the debris next to the garden from weeding. There will be photos uploaded of the "work." Very Very Bad. Mr. Plow has some serious character flaws. When things are going well, everything is copacetic, but if there are any hiccups, be prepared to be disappointed. Mr. Plow did an amazing job. My husband and I just moved into our new home and desperately needed a one time cut to get our yard in order. We tried several other landscaping companies that were either too full or required a signed commitment for at least 3 cuts. Mr Plow answered my call immediately, was so friendly, and fit me into his busy schedule. My lawn looks great and I can enjoy my backyard I highly recommend Mr Plow! read more

I'd give zero stars, but Yelp won't allow that! The guy that owns this, David, has got serious issues about what is good customer service and what is not. He mowed the lawns at my 2 rental properties yesterday, and I was down today spraying weeds when one of my Tenants comes out and asks, "are you OK with what little was cut this time?". I had just left the other unit and wondered the exact same thing. I wrote David an email with my concerns and he calls back, jumps down my throat and say "I tend to take these things very personally..." which of course is a recipe for bankruptcy in a business setting. If a customer has a legitimate concern (or for that matter, NOT a legitimate concern!), you shut up, listen, and do what you can do to make it right. Period. Taking anything "personally" is a disaster waiting to happen, and in this case it cost him a 2-property account. If you want inconsistent service, with a rather unstable individual, you will LOVE David, and Moe's Lawn Service! read more

David was awesome! I had a last minute job. We were moving out of the house and the grass was out of control which is my fault. I was more focused on the move itself than the yard. I called a lot of lawn care services who were more focused on long term than one time service. I finally called David who even though was crazy busy he fit me in with a route. I was a little nervous because at this point we had moved out of the area and I had to go off his word that the job would be done right. Not only was it done right he also took pictures and sent them to me which was very thoughtful of him. I definitely recommend him wether for regular routine service or even one time jobs. read more

I had a great experience with David of Moe's lawn service. I spent almost an hour calling different companies trying to find someone who could do a one time job the next day. Every other company said they were no longer taking on new clients or that they weren't interested in a one time job. Went from 5 star to 1 within a month. So impressed with owner's seemingly 'hands on' approach and his hard-working crew who arrived for the initial mow. Never the same crew twice though, and each iteration grew worse. Final crew arrived with a mower the size of a small tractor (despite the owner's initial assurance that residential service calls for small mowers); the indifferent teen on the monster machine left swathes of grass uncut but took out five sprinkler heads and cracked a flagstone on the front walk. The final blow? I found the broken shards of one of these broken heads deliberately hidden under a bush. Need I say more? read more

Mr Plow damaged a customers vehicle at a shop I oversee while snow plowing. Initially he was agreeable to pay for the repairs on the vehicle . Once we had the repairs completed he changed his tune and has for months now refused to pay for the vehicle he damaged . Our family is so lucky to work with David, owner of this lawn service and snow removal business. It's rare these days to work with a business that actually does what they say they are going to do. 2 summers ago we had just moved into our new home. Our lawn was a disaster. We had huge areas of weed and many other areas where we had no grass at all. David and his crew worked tirelessly and our grass came back. It's truly beautiful. Every week or two, (whenever it's needed) our lawn is mowed and trimmed and looks fantastic. They also help us with fall clean up. We're so lucky. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! I spoke with David several times regarding taking care of my lawn while I was out of town for a couple of weeks. I needed to keep the grass short so that certain weeds did not have the chance to seed and spread and stressed the importance of this to him. He received my payment information and missed the first two appointments he committed to. I was not notified and due to the fact that I was out of town did not realize until much later that he never came. When I called him to discuss, he hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional. Awesome! Mr. Plow did a great job removing snow from our business parking lot. They had it all done before we opened at 8:30, and they even accommodate our requests on where to pile the snow.
