I ordered the street tacos and they were very good. Usually I regret ordering Al pastor, but these were some of my favorite. The Asada tacos were also very good. I have been craving some good authentic mexican for quite some time and decided to try this place out. Safe to say I was not disappointed. I got the carne asada tacos and they were so delicious. The service was wonderful despite the language barrier, they accommodated to my pickiness and the lady serving me had a wonderful smile. If you want to have a street taco at any time of the day except Tuesday, then there is a place for you at Mr. Tacos in Wichita. This is the best street taco in the area and they are straight off the flat top made to order. 8 different meats to choose from for your tacos, asada, tripa, pollo, Al pastor, lengua, barbacoa, buche, and carnitas. I HIGHLY recommend the Al pastor and barbacoa if you can't get one of each...remember they are street tacos. There are other great items on the menu and the nachos are large enough to share. I ALWAYS get a glass bottle of Mexico coke-a-cola as it is a little sweeter than the US version. If you can't see any parking as you roll up on the place look across the street as there will be plenty of parking. I love the outdoor seating with the sun and fresh air. read more

CASH ONLY When I first moved to Wichita, 14 years ago, I lived around the corner and ate here more than once a week. I was young and survived off their yummy & huge burritos. Visit here and there, still awesome. It's not really a restaurant with indoor seating, just enough for their kitchen and you to order inside. If it's nice out, they do have a lot of outdoor seating! It's super convenient location, can't miss it. Very nice people! Food has always been fast and great! It's kinda cool to wait and watch/smell your food cooking on a flattop. We tried the carnita, barbacoa, and steak...in each one the meat was tender & not oily/dry...the corn tortillas you can tell are handmade...definitely made us want to come back for more! Food is good. The quantity is crappy. Literally 1 piece of avocado and barely any meat compared to other places they load it with everything. Pictures show the little bit of meat it has as you can tell on the sides of the bread there's nothing covering it. read more
