Had multiple issues after my appointment and during I had 4 loose bolts on two of my tires. 3 on the front left tires and 1 on the back right tire. Second it would have taken at least 5 to 6 minutes to do. But since they didn't do that I had to pull over and do it myself since it almost caused me to get into an accident and would have been bad since I had to go over the solomans bridge. Beware. Scheduled service to install new tires / wheels. They couldn't complete the service on first visit during normal business hours because the "tire guy" wasn't there. Had to reschedule and visit a second time. Post install learned that they never checked the tire pressures during install. Ended up being a safety issue / hazard as 3 of the tires were over inflated to 80psi (max rated tire pressure) and 1 was under inflated to 28psi (well below OEM recommended). They also had no idea how to setup the TPMS so I had to take truck back to dealer anyway. Don't waste your time or risk the safety of your family because of this incompetent service. Already reported to Tire Tack to remove as a Preferred / Trusted Installer. read more

Bs. Hate when men try to get over on women. Old black guy at the desk told me it would be $50+ for a tire patch up and that it would take an hour. I thought that was high for a patch up but I said okay. A couple minutes into the service he says the part that allows air to go in the tire is broken and said it would be able $200 to repair...I went to my nearest Advance Autozone and got the same part he said I needed for $10. The sales guys at the front are awful extremely disrespectful. They are definitely willing to screw and take advantage of women who don't know what they doing. If you want a honest or semi honest shop this is not the place. We tried to get these tires installed based on the appoint we booked but when my wife arrived they they degrading and rude. They said they didn't have the tires and tried to up sell her different ones twice the cost. Then after she said no the said they could order them but wouldn't honor the quoted price. The new price would have been over $340, and gave no justification of why all why being extremely short. I only wish I could give 0 stars. read more

What is the safety of your family worth? Apparently, a free oils change when Leonardtown 's Mr. Tire: sloshes oil all over the engine compartment, leaves off a lug nut when rotating tires and then installs new tires on your vehicle but doesn't balance them and installs one of the new tire with a a significant amount of water in it. BTW a car with a tire loaded down with water rides like every tire is out of balance and your vehicle is about to fall apart. However it's all about "the legal" with the Mr. Tire Customer Service Team... In short, I was told "Prove it... and no, we won't be following up with you." I made an online appointment at the Leonardtown location for 8am, I arrived about 7:50am, I was told by the front desk that "his guy wasn't in yet" I asked what time he expected him, he said not sure and that there was someone ahead of me. He told me I could wait or come back. I asked what time I should come back, he said 9am. I left, returned about 8:50am and was told not only was one guy in but both mechanics were in and my truck would be looked at in a few minutes. AN HOUR LATER...., so 10am, they finally pull my truck in to look at it. 45 mins later they tell me they want to change all 4 of my O2 sensors. I figured thats what it would need. But the charge was going to be $900. Are you kidding me?!?! The parts alone without a mechanics discount is $120. I know because I ended up buying them off 1AAuto. The labor time on that job at worst is about 20 mins. But, let's round up to an hour....So you're telling me Mr Tire charges about $650 per hour for labor?? C'mon. Not only was my 8am apt not honored, I also had to wait 2 and half hours on top of that to have your shop try and scam me out of $900. Worst shop in the area. Horrible service. Oh and the mechanic also said he "added the military discount to it" First of all I never mentioned anything about military service, and if that's how your business tries to "respect" the military, I feel bad for the rest of the people they scam on a daily basis. read more

Do not patronize this shop. Got vehicle after brake job with no power brakes (found vacuum hose disconnected from brake booster). Had to be towed back to shop after earlier brake job (shop said a brake clamp they installed, failed). They later had to readjust rear brake adjusters they also installed. All this, after shop did an initial brake inspection and said they found no issues. Bottom line: shoddy workmanship, excuses, denials, and exorbitant prices. read more

Beyond angry! I went to Mr. Tire 2 weeks ago to get a tire replaced (he was quoted $130 on the phone) and needless to say they wouldn't replace it until I replaced all of them which I ended up paying $420 to do. Then a couple of days ago I noticed one of the tires was flat. My husband put the donut back on and went up there this morning and he was told it would be replaced at no cost and to come back at 3pm. Then when he went back they told him it would actually cost $170. This is beyond ridiculous that every time we go up there they make us pay more than we are originally told. We spent $420 on brand new tires just 2 weeks ago and shouldn't have to pay $170 for a new tire now! Especially when they looked at it this morning and said it would be no cost! I have emailed them via Facebook and their site and called and no one has gotten back to me. Terrible customer service! read more

I called and Io picked up the phone versus my having to fill out an application for an appointment online. The man working on my car explained everything he was doing, what fluids should look like as opposed to what was there, and put a reminder for when I shoud have my oil changed again. Horrible customer service. My son goes to college in SC where it is ac weather already. His ac system was not holding a charge and was planning on coming home for a few days, so I called the Leonardtown location to set up an appointment thirst thing Monday morning. Arrived at the appointment time of to find out that the ac tech wasn't there that day because he "worked too many hours last week". Pretty annoying, but went ahead and rescheduled for Tuesday morning. Got there and they said they would look at it first thing and give me a call mid morning. By early afternoon, no call, so I called them. The manager said that the machine was broke and they couldn't look at it. He had no response as to why I wasn't called right away. But he did say that I wouldn't be charged anything. Gee, thanks for not charging me for doing absolutely nothing and wasting 2 days of me trying to get the ac fixed. Leonardtown location. Made an appointment for 4 new tires and an alignment. Got there as scheduled and was told they didnt have the tires but the could sell me a different tire for forty dollars more (PER TIRE), then told me that the alignment machine was broken. wtf was the purpose of having me show up there??? A simple phone call would have prevented me from wasting my time. Also the attitude of the clerk was ridiculous. Told me that he can "get the tires" then take my car to another location for the alignment if I came back later. If he could get the tires, he should have gotten them before my appointment. When the work was complete the outside of my truck hand grease hand prints all over the door and side. The interior had grease on the drivers seat, door trim and steering wheel. Very unprofessional. New tires but missing two valve stem caps. read more

Horrible service. My son purchased brand new tires. The very next day one of them was flat so he had to go back to get that fixed. Then two days later another tire went flat when he was on 150 mile trip around the beltway. Very dangerous when you have a tire that keeps on deflating when you're traveling 60 mph. Spent over $1,000 for new tires and alignment on my pickup. Tech did a great job putting on the new tires and doing the alignment. It was 95 degrees out and the shop doesn't have air conditioning. The tech was nice enough to take my truck for a test drive and not cover my seat with anything. When I got in to drive away I found my drivers seat completely drenched in his sweat. SOAKED. Manager tried to dry it with a hand towel. Don't ever do business here! read more

Horrible experience at Mr Tire in Leonardtown Md. Been taking my car there for years, this time it was all new people. Let me say my car is only a 2010 and has 270,000 miles on it. I used to drive back and forth to Annapolis every day. I asked them to check a very annoying ticking noise when I went for my oil change appointment. The tech came in and explained there's a part under the motor that needs replacing, and for a car with so many miles on it I wasn't surprised. It would require taking the motor completely apart which to my decision I wouldn't do with all the miles the car wasn't worth it. With the mentality in mind, I'm just gonna drive it til it blows up at this point. I have a new car already. That being said, the manager refused to even do the oil change saying that they could be held liable if the car blows up. Are you kidding me? I informed them I wouldn't hold them at fault if it blew up cuz I'm already aware it could happen, but being that i still drive it for now I needed an oil change. Again refused. Will never ever give any Mr. Tire my business again. They both looked at me like I was a crazy person simply because of the condition my car is in. It still drives fine for now. They made me super uncomfortable and made me feel like my money was no good there. They barely spoke to me at this point and just handed me my keys insinuating it was time for me to leave. I've heard bad things about this place for years, but went there on 6/1/2016 out of desperation. I was going on a long trip out of town and needed an alignment. Every other place nearby was booked. Although their online reservation option showed about 90% of times available, I called anyway, having been burned before by this option at another Mr. Tire. I don't think this system is at all connected to their shops. I talked to the manager and he said no problem, bring it in. I dropped the truck off at 9am. About 4 out of 5 times that I leave my vehicles somewhere and they say they'll call when it's done; they don't. So at 1:30pm I called to check. They said my truck was next to go on the rack. I told them I needed it by 5pm at the latest. Again I was told no problem. I had a friend drop me off at 5pm and as we were pulling into the lot they were getting in my truck to pull it in. I had several errands to run that night before leaving town and could not wait, so I took the truck and had to take the trip without the alignment, which was uncomfortable and caused further uneven wear on my tires. By the time I picked it up the manager was gone and all that the remaining lunkheads had to offer was, "it's been a really busy day." No apology for the inconvenience or the lying. They had 3 1/2 hours after my truck was supposedly next and still didn't get to it. 8 hours to do a simple alignment and never even put the truck on the rack. read more
