Unfortunately, they've since merged with a donut shop and have a space in a strip mall. I think the business move makes sense but it really takes away half the reason I went here in the first place - the environment. The staff are friendly. It's almost never busy since they moved to the new location. I'm happy to report that the ice cream is still good! They have really fun waffle bowls that they make into ice cream nachos, great and unique flavors, and lots of toppings. As you approach and turn into the area there's gravel parking close by. What I loved about this place is that pets are welcome here! They even offer pup cups here! They also have a life sized pool game, corn hole, and some other activities to keep you entertained and enjoying the warm weather! There's a good variety to the menu and they have several different topping options! I had never had the kind of soft serve they offer here but was eager to try it out. It was interesting, the flavors you choose are twisted into the soft serve, it's a subtle taste. My boyfriend, his fam bam, and I were excited to come here after Father's day dinner and to make sure the guest of honor, his step dad, the father's day special!! We were lucky enough to check out some of their flavors and specials on their Facebook page! As soon as we got there I studied the menu and settled on their Butter Pecan Ice cream with hot fudge. It was savory and delicious. I liked how light and creamy it was. My boyfriend had the Horchata and loved that too! The rest of our group enjoyed their favors as well. His mom commented that she didn't taste much of the Peanut Butter but I think the flavors are meant to be subtle. It's all still new to me but I'm excited to discover more yummy flavors, and treat Rosie to some pup cups! I've found in the past year especially that they will have their hours posted buuuuuuuut that doesn't mean they will be open when they say they will. I've now been by 3 different occasions in the past 4 months and they weren't open even though they were supposed to be. They are on the other side of town from me so it's a little bit of a trek. It's rather disappointing to go all the way over there only to find they aren't open when their posted hours say they are. They also don't respond to messages either. We recently visited this ice cream shop and had a mixed experience. First, I'll start with the…read morepositives: the shop itself is very cute, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The owner also came around to check on customers and was incredibly pleasant and friendly, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, there were a few things involving the staff that caught us off guard. While preparing our order, one employee was eating ice cream behind the counter while making customers' desserts. We also observed her repeatedly running her fingers through her hair and then using her hands to crumble a brownie into our ice cream without washing her hands. She also displayed rude and uncalled for behavior with a group of teenage boys that came in before us. It wasn't something we expected to see and it definitely made us uncomfortable. The ice cream itself was good, and the overall concept of the shop is great, but the food handling practices we witnessed took away from the experience. With a little more attention to cleanliness and professionalism from the staff, this could easily be a much higher-rated visit. We wanted to share our honest experience because there are a lot of positive things about this place, but some of the small details regarding food preparation were hard to overlook.

All set in a cozy 50's diner style atmosphere complete with jukebox and retro decor. Stop by the first Saturday night every April-October and catch some of the old classic cars that hang out for the Cruzin Clarinda nights. We are open from the 1st part of April to right before Christmas every year.
