I came here on a whim a few months ago to get a few shirts brought in on the sides, just picked up three more shirts today, and plan to come back again and again. Dan is really personable and has great recommendations re. what types of shirts to get and how to properly alter them. The price is very reasonable for the quality - $26 to bring in the sides and sleeves of one dress shirt. I can't recommend him more highly! Also, just FYI, the shop is on the 2nd floor above Brewed Awakenings. Just enter from the street as if you're going into the coffee shop, but instead of entering the shop on the left, go up the long staircase.

She was so sweet and understanding and you can tell she knows draping and fit well. She took my all-lace wedding dress down nearly 3 sizes and really wanted to make sure I was happy. I'm not usually a picky person, but when I went into what I thought would be my last fitting, I had lost more weight and the alterations she had done were still too big--I swear I was eating throughout this whole process, but planning for a West Coast wedding from the East Coast was getting stressful! After a few days if agonizing over it, I called Mary back and she was more than happy to re-do the alteration until I was happy with it. She is such a doll and the shop is so cute!
