    I visited this store on 5/4/26. We live out of state and my daughter goes to college nearby. We…read morewere shipping a sentimental glass framed sports memorabilia home. We paid $197.05 to ship it back home and was told by a female supervisor that it would require additional air packing on both sides of the frame, and we agreed with her. The female clerk ringing up the transaction did not know what she was doing and had to ask for assitance multiple times. I asked the clerk multiple times before leaving and she reassured me that the additional air packing would be added to the box, to ensure the item would be packaged appropriately and arrive intact. We received the package yesterday and the frame is scratched and damaged, the glass all shattered. When we opened the box the air packing that we were promised WAS NOT inside the box, hence why the frame was not only shattered but the shattered glass also scratched up the custom frame. I called the store directly this morning and initially spoke to Jimmy. Jimmy, you were very pleasant, this review has nothing to do with you. He told me the owner would contact me and he did. What is REALLY disturbing is that from the moment I answered my phone the owner was yelling at me, berating me, and blaming me for the damaged item. First of all, you are a business owner, act like one. He DID NOT AT ALL listen to what I was trying to explain to him regarding the fact that the frame was not packaged with the proper packing. All he did was argue with me and did not offer any assistance towards a solution to this problem at any time during this phone call. I cannot believe that owners like him get away with such behavior, lack of professionalism, and still run a business. Why am I doing this review? So other people do not experience what we did. Choose wisely before doing business here. Yes, it is a fragile item and I run a risk in shipping it. However, this is their business and this is what they do on a daily basis. They failed to include the air packing, the box was not tagged with "Fragile" stickers, which ultimately resulted in my frame being damaged and shattered. The owner failed to even admit that, let alone take responsibility for it.

Please keep in mind this is a private business owned by one man. He is very kind and flexible. I received an over the phone diagnosis prior to entering his shop, albeit it was pretty simple (I needed a windows reinstall) He promised three day turnaround and it was true. He promised update calls and it was true. The value of the service was better than any corporation and the discounts he applies are very appreciative. If my computer becomes compromised or damaged I will always return to him.

He spent 15 minutes discussing possible causes, pricing and options - which was a pleasant surprise. Most places will simply tell you that they can fix any problem you have and just bring your PC to them. So after more research I was able to recover data from my PC much to my relief, even though it still doesn't boot up properly. I spoke with Jim again today and explained what I'd done. He advised me that my options were to either buy a new PC or spend $175 to reinstall Windows. Considering my PC is 9 years old, I'll opt to buy a new one. And the best part of the whole experience was that Jim actually gave me some advice on what to look for in a new PC. Even though I never had Jim fix my PC, I'm really glad that I spoke with him. He's a class act and I appreciate him taking time to help me even though he wasn't getting paid. Needless to say if I ever have PC issues in the future I'll call Jim.
