The Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act of 2008 (The smoking ban here in Nebraska) only has 4 exemptions from the law. 1) Up to 20% of the rooms in a hotel. 2) Facilities researching the health effects of smoking. 3) Private residences, except when a residence is being used as a licensed child care program. 4) Tobacco-only retailers defined as a "store that sells only tobacco and products directly related to tobacco. Products directly related to tobacco do not include alcohol, coffee, soft drinks, candy, groceries or gasoline." So, contrary to popular belief it is ILLEGAL to smoke inside K&B or TY's because they sell soda and candy.

You just can't beat a locally owned store that cares about the good of the community, big business can never compete with that. The north location is at 1545 N. Cornhusker Hwy while still offering great prices on tobacco products also offers a great selection of wine and spirits, and GAS! Again the management and staff are great, and the service is quick.
