We explained that we were new small business owners unfamiliar with the COH process and were relying on SSA's licensed professional expertise and consultation. During the meeting, I explained that I had personally prepared drawings at this stage for our business in California. Ken, SSA's owner, specifically responded, "Not here. It requires a licensed architect or engineer." We reasonably relied on this statement and believed COH required a licensed professional to prepare or submit our plans. Based on that representation, we retained SSA for their services and paid $5,500 on Feb 5, 2025. To be clear, this complaint is NOT about the quality of SSA's work or a dispute of the services listed in our contract. Our complaint is that we believe we were materially misled about COH requirements when deciding whether SSA's services were necessary. During the entitlement process, a COH representative informed us that a licensed architect or engineer was NOT required for this phase. Had Ken accurately explained the requirements, we would not have retained SSA for these services. As a result, our small business incurred a substantial and unnecessary expense and experienced significant delays in advancing our project. Before filing this complaint, we made a good-faith effort to resolve the matter directly with SSA and even offered to compensate the firm for the limited consultation services provided. Ken refused to acknowledge our concerns or negotiate a reasonable resolution. We relied on SSA's professional expertise in making a significant financial decision. Based on this experience and SSA's response to our efforts to reasonably resolve the dispute, I cannot recommend SSA Architecture.

I had a full day to plan so I wrote them on Instagram. And I couldn't believe how quickly I got an answer. And not just "any" answer I got the most positive, loving and warm answer I could have ever wished for. So three weeks later I met Jannicke, she picked me up and we drove to the house she just finished. We had SO MUCH fun shooting and talking and styling and shooting again and restyling ec ec. We spent all day together just being creative and exchanging ideas and thoughts. Her positive and warm energy is contagious. He talented eye for the design is amazing. And her sense of layout and styling is super refreshing especially when it comes to kids design. I wish I had her in San Francisco so we could work more often together. But I guess it's just one good excuse to go back to Vegas.

This is a fine balance. I do this by applying the same design principals I used while working on opulent resorts and casinos, but screening the design through the eyes of a mom and the dreams of children." Tiny Little Pad's first playhouse design landed them a spot on Daily Mail UK's list of "Ten of the world's most breathtaking playhouses.
