I have seen different Stone Suppliers. MSI is far better than any other stone suppliers. They recently moved in to this building. As soon as you walk in you feel that they changed their quality. You can see all different stone types here Granite, Marble, Travertine, Tile , Quartz etc. If you are a residential customer They don't sell directly but suggest fabricators which is fair. We had productive and pleasant experience selecting the perfect slabs of granite for our kitchen refresh at the MSI showroom in Edison NJ. We went on a weekday and took our time walking the warehouse. The customer service rep that greeted us out front was friendly and took us to the back and set us on our way with instructions and tools that we needed to get started. It wasn't long after that a very nice gentleman asked us if we had any questions. He helped us by having the slabs moved around when there was more than one lot in a pile and locating the color we were specifically looking for when we couldn't find it. Turns out it wasn't in the showroom warehouse but over across the street in the distribution warehouse. I highly recommend that you use the website and narrow down your selection and confirm the inventory before going. If we hadn't, I would not have known to ask for the specific color, which we ended up purchasing. read more

I came to MSI twice, was fascinated by their collection of marble, quartz, granite, not so much tiles. i like the way they organize the showroom: you can spend as much time as you want and take samples home. Thumbs up for product! But both my visits I noticed a poor service at the reception. I was looking for bullnose for the tile made by MSI. The reception was not helpful, she did not look for any alternatives. I think such a nice showroom must have better customer service. read more

I visited the show room and pick a granite counter top from the back warehouse area recently. There are a lot of selections of stones and tiles. However, during the weekend and holiday week, there is absolutely no sales person on floor to serve the customers in order to order the products that I have in mind. I can't make the trip during the weekdays during their sales person on duty hours. This is very inconvenient. I do like the products that MSI carries, but I can't make my selections to order without a sales person to quote price while I visit this Co. during the weekend. Visiting M S International was a remarkable experience. The showroom was huge, the selection of marble, granite and others natural stone is unmatched in my experience. They are not a retail sales facility so you select material for your contractor, fabricator or other craftsperson to use for your project. After signing in with your contact information you are assigned a salesperson to guide you through the rows and rows of stone slabs. Tony was patient and knowledgable. He explained differences, made suggestions and took us to an adjoining warehouse for more choices. He was also able to advise us that the slab we chose was scratched in a way that honing would not eliminate. As a result we will likely need to visit again when more supply is available. I'm looking forward to going back. read more

Used their ledger stone panels twice now. I should have learned from the first time, that their product is sub par. 30% of the product in the boxes comes broken. Thankfully we purchased from a reputable company and were able to return broken panels. Their website is also no help. I purchased a specific panel because the website stated it was no more than 3/4 of an inch in depth. These panels, for today's project, were thicker and heavier than the ones used in our original project, which stated stones were 3/4 of an inch to 1 1/2 inch. Thank God the thickness still worked. If we decide to use ledger panels again, I will definitely find another manufacturer. read more

Very disappointed ! I completed the Covid-19 survey . After a few minutes a young woman (blond hair) handled a paper and a pencil and said walk down there and look what you like and put the information in the paper, I did walk up and down looking at different options when Finally after 1 hour the same woman was helping a customer that walked after me, I asked her a question and she said "go to the front desk" at this point obviously she didn't want to help me , I told the front desk girl how disappointed my experience was and I asked her: why another customer received a full attention from this girl and I have to wait ? I'm here for more than an hour trying to pick the right product for my kitchen ( I'm not a constructor I have no clue of the difference between products ) The front desk lady was trying to make me calm down but it was too late !! We had selected stone for our fireplace based on what we saw on-line. I was so glad we went to the store to see the actual stone. We have now narrowed it down to 2 samples, one is what we saw on-line and the other is a sample we saw in the store. I strongly suggest that before you make a final decision, you should visit the store or order a sample piece. read more

Insane amount of slabs in several warehouses on Brunswick Ave ! Slightly rocky start and a little confusion with availability of the granite i chose, but with the help of the staff, we located more in another warehouse, walked over and picked out my slab... all after their 5 pm close. Super excited to finally select a beautiful slab and grateful to the staff, both office and warehouse for staying past close to help me. My advice for people coming from far away.. do a slab inventory search on their website and then call to confirm slab is available to view or claim. read more

Through my kitchen designer, I recently picked out two slabs of granite for a kitchen. As a geologist, I was particular about which slabs from their stock (a granite called "Silver Cloud") that I wanted, so I took a specific trip from the Hudson Valley to Edison to pick out the slabs. I arrived at the appointed time to be asked to wait for what turned out to be 20 minutes by a moderately uninterested sales person. I was eventually taken back to look at the slabs and approve them, and duly filled out an order form specifying the material. My designer confirmed the order and a delivery date on the same day. When we asked for delivery, we found that the slabs had been sold to somebody else. We have received no apology or acknowledgement of error from MSI. In short, poor on-site service, no response to customer issues, no acknowledgement of error. I'm going elsewhere. read more

No more walking around in the cold in a Muddy slab yard searching for the perfect stone. I went to another outdoor yard and they wouldn't even move the slabs to show me the ones behind the top slab. Came here in a panic after my horrible kitchen people showed up with crooked stone. I had to find a replacement slab in a day and was totally aggravated. Raquella took me to the showroom and showed me the quartz and helped me pick the one closest to the one I had originally. They had the slab in stock and worked with Union Express Tile to get the slab to the fabricators in a timely manner. The quartz is beautiful and I like it just as much as my original choice. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. The company that I bought my granite countertops from, uses MSI for the Tile for backsplash. First of all, they delivered one box of tiles rather than the 10 that were needed. The color they sent was not what I ordered. The first delivery did not require a signature. I called Let's Get Stoned since they contracted with MIS for the tiles. They said they would get the right products delivered but it would take another week! And this is what they call expedited!!! So MSI's company that delivers, came on Monday but no one was home so they left. However, I did not know about this until the trucking company called me on Tuesday to tell me they are delivering between 10am and 1pm on Wednesday. I told them I needed it today and they said they had no trucks available. No one ever said someone had to be there to sign for the delivery and as I mentioned no one was there when they delivered the first time. Never ever use these people and by the way not happy with Let's Get Stoned response either!!! read more

My husband and I were sent to MS International by our kitchen place to pick out our granite slab. You would think that with the size of this place, that they'd have a huge selection - this could not be farther from the truth. After looking through their supply and narrowing it down to a few different styles/slabs, we returned to the desk only to find out they were either sold or damaged. We spent almost 2 hours doing this and finally after picking out more than 10 different styles and being told each was either sold or or damaged, we went elsewhere. The woman who was helping us was useless and could care less if we walked out of there with nothing. After seeing family this past weekend and sharing our story, they said that they had the same experience there. Their inventory system needs an overhaul. It is unnecessary to have people aimlessly walking around and picking out slabs which aren't available for sale anyway. read more

A year ago I started to get construction costs for our kitchen renovation. I went to "All Granite & Marble Corp" in Edison NJ. The sales rep. was rude, hostile and uncooperative. When he found out I wasn't ready to buy that day, he pointed to the sample wall, told me that's what they had and walked away from me. I was shocked, knowing this would be a large purchase down the road. Needless to say when I was ready to buy, I didn't go back there. I'd also been to a couple of other suppliers that had a limited selection, but it was enough to convince me I wanted granite. After finding "MS International, Inc." in Edison on line, I went to the showroom. I was invited in by the airy, bright environment. The initial showroom houses the customer service desk and tile department. After signing in, I went into the main marble and granite showroom. In the front of the room are the man-made samples and the rest of the room is extensive; with rows upon rows of granite displayed on "A" frames. Each slab is beautiful and the selection vast. Each granite type is numbered in a section, so you can record the ones you like and find your way back to them. MSI is a showroom. They do not install or quote any costs on their items. After going back a few times, I selected the granite I wanted "Cold Spring". Once paying for my purchase, I made an appointment with Tony Solazzo. I came in on one of their late nights (Tuesday and Thursday) to see more than the initial slab I originally saw. Tony understood this was a once in a lifetime purchase for me and this was a costly one at that.Tony was accommodating and patent in showing me several slabs, allowing me to feel 100% confident in my selection. I never realized that selecting granite was such a personal experience, but now I know. As good as this experience initially went, in moving my granite from one warehouse to another for shipping purposes, one slab was broken. I wasn't informed by the fabricator I'd selected (Tri State in Rockaway) that one stone was broken until much later. By then MSI had sold my second slab. Unfortunately the next batch of granite looked nothing like the original. So different in fact that MSI changed the name of the granite. I wound up searching 5 other granite stores until I found granite I was happy with and where I didn't feel like I was settling. I didn't buy my granite from MSI in the long run, but they do have a great selection of granite. When buying granite, always put 1 extra slab on hold just in case one gets broken. Had I done that, I would have had the original counters I'd wanted. read more

Visited them and while the sales people were very helpful the choices were very limited. Of the granite I liked they only had 6 pieces, 4 of which were spoken for and the others were not the color I wanted. They indicated they would probably not get more in for about 5 months and my kitchen will be done by then. Pretty disappointed. read more

I was told Id have to choose my slab from across the street, as you only had 1 in the showroom and it was already given to someone else. The first slab they showed me had about 10 bright orange spots on it, so i told them I would never choose that one. The second one i was shown had a surface crack on it. The third one had this long strip of dried glue -- the person helping told me it's just part of the stone, but it was obvious it wasnt part of the stone. He wasn't even knowledgeable enough to tell me it's glue that can easily be removed. All he said was its part of the stone. Finally, when we were able to remove the glue with a wet paper towel and I wanted to choose that slab, i was told it was already given to someone else, so why not check this info prior to save time? After this, he tells me we can't stay there long because that is how he was trained by his management and also he stated safety reasons. My reply was that you should then stock the showroom (there was ONE slab only already given to someone else) so that i do not need to go to the wearhouse. Overall, i felt pressured to quickly choose something or else he made me feel like I, the customer, was an inconvenience to him. I would not recommend this place to someone else. read more

We purchased our Carrara White Italian marble through Home Depot and were instructed to contact MSI when we were ready to pick out the actual material to be used in our kitchen. When we visited their beautiful showroom, we were welcomed by a member of their reception staff and then met with a sales rep who escorted us to the warehouse. We were shown the available slabs that were in our price point, but unfortunately none suited our taste. This was the point that we met Tony Solazzo. Tony listened to what our ideal marble should look like and said that he would have more slabs brought in for us to see by the end of the week. Long story short, Tony went to their storage yard and selected slabs for us to see. His selection was right on and we had our marble. Tony Solazzo is knowledgeable and friendly and clearly enjoys his job. He's exactly the person you hope for when you're making an important purchase and have many questions. The receptionist was more helpful than the guy who was assigned to assist me as I browsed slabs of granite (he disappeared after a minute or so). Be advised that they do not allow children in the room with their slabs of granite. Even babies that stay in your arms. Since I would be driving 3 hours to pick out my slab, I called ahead of time to ask what I needed to know for my visit and if I needed an appointment. I was told all I had to do was show up and there was nothing particular I needed to know. When I was there, the receptionist said they run into issues with kids not being allowed in the room quite regularly so I'm surprised it isn't standard to give people a heads up on this policy. When I was a half hour out of town, my Home Depot rep called me because there was a discrepancy in my selection report. I called MSI to see if they could go see if a slab of one color was incorrectly in front of a sign for a different color which would explain the discrepancy. After a brief hold, I was told I "can" just come back and look myself. This added an hour to my already 6 hour drive time. read more

Drove 1 1/2 hours only to find out the granite they said they had in stock was but it was damaged so we couldn't look at it. The salesperson said it wasn't there fault. Shrugged shoulders even after we said we drove such a long distance. Her solution was to be less than helpful. She walked away and left us in the showroom by ourselves.
