I call ahead before driving 2 hours to pick out my countertop stone. When I arrived, not only did they not have the stone that I had selected & pre-paid for, but they also refused to call me when the next shipment would be in. They said I had to just keep calling them and checking in. So my kitchen countertops that I was told would be done in 7-10 days are now just in limbo until the stone shipment shows up...whenever that happens. read more

Went to MSI today with a sample of the cabinet we will be getting. After checking in at the desk our guide Dipti walked us into the show room which is huge! She very patiently showed us where the sample slabs that home depot carries are. We looked at quite a few and she was very patient. Even had a guy move one slab so we could see the piece behind it. That's the one we bought!! After we went to the desk to check out the lady there was also very nice and pleasant. She explained to us that for the next two weeks it was "our slab"! Cool! She wrote it up for us and we were gone. A very painless experience and believe me this was after quite a few hours of sitting listening and shopping. I needed this to be painless and it was. The place is enormous with an amazing selection. I came from long island since I just purchased the cabinets and counters from home depot and this is company that provides the granite for the counters. The place was busy, I went on Saturday. So make sure you have time. I signed in a and was sent to back. Every salesperson was friendly and helpful. I was taken to the material that I ordered. The salesperson explained that there were two variations of this material. Had to wait to get someone to move slabs but they let you view and match. I selected 2 slabs and they tagged them for me. They also said that I could have selected a different type of stone. I learnt alot and people were helpful.. they also have tile showroom with amazing selection. read more

I bought the same box of tiles 4 times! And each time ll tiles arrived were broken in transit. Despite my pleas to the company (I called them twice) to use a different shipper from the careless UPS and/or putting a special label " Handle with Care" or Fragile" they keep sending the same type of package with UPS and the tiles keeps arriving broken. I am stuck with unfinished repairs in my bathroom and not being able to use it. Now I placed two orders for the same item but going to different destinations: a Home Depot location and my house and praying that some of the tiles will escape unbroken. read more

Terrible experience. Will never go back or recommend. Told sales person what I was looking for (a quartz or granite that looks like soap stone.) She told me to look around. In retrospect, I should have asked someone else to help me. the place has rows and rows to look at. I did find something I liked but it had a big black splotch on it. I asked if all the slabs have it, she said no. She had others that she can show me. What she showed wasn't even close. She than told me what I liked was the back of a slab. Why on earth would I care if there was a splotch on the back! I told her again what I was looking for and she told me they didn't have anything like that! I was there about 40 minutes to find this out. What a waste if my time! read more

This place is awesome. It is like a playground for adults who love home decorating! I had no idea there was no much variety in granite! We just ooooo'ed and ahhhhhh'ed down each aisle. The staff is so friendly and helpful. One man, Able, had to move 7 slabs out of the way for us to see the last one, and he did it happily and with a smile, even helping us compare and contrast each one. We came to MSI on 3 occasions to pick out granite slabs for our new kitchen countertops. Our experience on the Saturday was not so good because it was quite busy and the sales associates appeared grumpy and unapproachable. However Mike the slab handler was amazing and super friendly. We returned on Tuesday and Thursday with an appointment and our sales associate Shanice was absolutely amazing. She was very professional and went out of her way to help us find the perfect slabs. Having an amazing sales associate like Shanice made the stressful experience much more exciting. We also would like to give a shout out to slab handler Steve who was super patient with us and moved several granite slabs for us with a big smile, Thanks to people like Shanice, Mike and Steve we would definitely recommend MSI. read more

A stone fabricator introduced this brand to us. We drove there to take a look at their Quartz countertop. The stone yard is huge and they have big selection of natural stones which are gorgeous. Their quartz stone collection also have several color/pattern that looks like natural stone. The staffs are very friend. I saw two bad reviews in yelp before i went and was not sure if it was worth going. I am so glad that i did. read more

Can I give zero stars?! Terrible place. They never answer the phone and then when you get there you know why. The women behind the desk have constant resting bitch faces that could care less you're about to blow had of your life savings on a countertop, etc. they didn't have a bi selection as I expected and when I asked about some of the colors I was looking for they simply said with an attitude that they didn't have it out to show. My Husband and I drove 2 hours to pick out our granite, it was one of the best dates we have been on ! We came prepared with a piece of our flooring and a cabinet door, so glad MSI website suggested that, I was having a hard time picking between 2 granites and we then had Ralph help us. He was very professional and kind! He was very helpful to us and our situation. Thank you Ralph ! The front granites were already tagged so we needed to have them moved and thats when Mike came in ! Don't bother wasting your time. I started my journey on a Tuesday morning. I was amazed at how beautiful the showroom is and the representation/selection is laid out in "rooms" to show that off. After writing my life history to be able to register on a tablet, I spent 2+hours finding what I wanted, again the amount of granite, marble, quartz, etc. is phenomenal, much from which to choose. HOWEVER, after checking back at the reception desk for the third time to have my questions answered, I found the slab I liked. It is in front, obviously, I checked its scan number as I had been directed to do, and the A,B,C...following. The one I liked, again which is in front, had three slabs behind it. I checked the scan number of those behind and found I liked C and the next letter was G so I inquired of the girl who had been "helping" me as to whether or not there was a B or D. She made a call to the warehouse across the street and assured me there was. We both got in touch with fabricator, had the slabs delivered,told they would arrive Thursday. On Friday afternoon, C was on that truck, (I don't remember what the letter was on the other, G or H) arrived as well. Since one was for an island and the other for countertop I thought, ok, maybe this will work, until I saw the condition of the G/H slab. It looked as if it had been in a fight with a chain gang or someone wielding chain saws, there was no way for this to be used. When my fabricator called to ask what had happened to the corresponding letter, he didn't really get an answer that made sense to me. When he asked for two new slabs to be sent that were closer in sequence, he was told there were NO MORE of that particular line. Really??? I'm not saying it is beyond possibility, as a contractor could have come in with a BIG job, it just seemed a bit too convenient and there was no offer show me any alternative materials. Lesson learned, if you don't see it with your own eyes, be prepared for a let down and whatever you do, make sure you do see it before anyone makes any cuts. I was there and I was lied to, after all this I'm gonna call B*)(&#&T, AND be sure not to recommend this place to anyone read more

I went to picked out my granite on Saturday. The person who was helping me was so nice to me. As I needed to see more slabs and he asked the warehouse guy for help. But the warehouse guy gave him attitude saying "everything looks the same". But he was very polite to me and he was not rushing me. He also check the slab for me to see if their were any cracks. I was so glad to visit MSI to pick out my granite and I got the help from the best. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because of other people not being cooperative with me. But the person who helped me deserve 5 Stars. I wish I knew his name, he was wearing a white MSI shirt with black pants and he was also wearing glasses. read more

The customer service was excellent at MSI. I could not find the slab(s) I wanted from the same lot in their show room, so the MSI rep. took me their warehouse across the street, where I was able to see different slabs and was finally able to pick 3 slabs from the same lot that I loved! If they had not done this, I would have had to make another trip (an hour drive) and come back to look at other slabs, and there would be no guarantees, I would have liked those or not. I was extremely appreciate of the rep. that took us over and spent time with us to ensure we were able to slabs we wanted, and saved me potential additional trips back. Thank you! read more

Great selections of granite with many different bundles to choose from. I was a little disappointed with the customer service. It didn't feel welcoming after purchasing over $3000 worth of stone. And we felt we did not get the personal treatment from a professional, knowledge, courteous, and helpful salesman as we have seen in there website. We had our granite color picked out at Home Depot prior to arriving to MSI, but the initial wait time to take us to where our granite location took longer than expected. I asked "is someone going to assist us to pick our granite slab" and the girl behind the counter said "someone will be here to help us soon" at the end no one came to take us and help pick our slab but the girl was kind enough to take us directly there. She appeared to be novice and was not as helpful in answering questions with great certainty. After 5 min of waiting for our answer on choosing one specific granite slab, we decided to look at other colors around the warehouse. She decided to give us a piece of paper that detailed all the different granites by level of quality and specific section and isle location and left us to fetch for ourself. I was hoping she would walk with us down the isle and explain to us the different types of granite and qualities l, but instead she left us alone for 30 min. We felt fairly ignored and felt we were disturbing her. After finally choosing our specific granite slab. We had to go and look for our her behind the counter. She was also on the phone and appeared to be talking in her native language while she was finishing up our transaction. Our transaction also took longer than expected. Perhaps it was because she was on the phone talking to someone else throughout while attempting to completed our transaction. She also seemed bothered when I asked her if it was ok for her to take a pic of the slab of granite and email us a pic of it. She said i had a phone and should take my own pics. Overall, the place was beautiful and had a great selection of stones but the service was mediocre and not welcoming. The customer service on its website was nothing like our stale experience. Therefore the beautiful place did not match well with the service they provided. And as in a any other successful business you need both. read more

MAKE SURE SOMEONE IS THERE HELPING YOU.....The first two times I came in to pick the colors for our countertop (which needed to be done to get a quote from the fabricator) I was told that someone would meet me in the back to assist me. Not once did anyone meet us in the back. The second visit we were there for an hour and again, no one came to help us. When we finalized the color (or what we thought was the color) we had it sent to our fabricator to be ordered. Because no one came either time... what we thought was Precous White and what we ended up ordering was not what we wanted... Thank god I remembered and took pictures of the slab. When I went to see the slabs at my fabricators I knew it was wrong...but I luckily had taken a picture of the one we wanted. I had to go back yesterday to find out that that color I actually had picked out was Valley White.. and again two of those slabs were under precous white.. This time there was an employee with me since I had complained and the fabricator had to call. I came to find out there wasn't any instock and I have to come back for a 4th time today. Nothing has been offered to me for compensation for the lack of assistance or mistakes on MS Internationals part. They also had the color Valley White slab under two other names.... SO if you are not being assisted you would not know any better then to go with the sign that is above it. read more
