Back in January, my husband and I were looking to upgrade our laminate countertop as it was getting really gross. Our first stop was Home Depot. But they totally over charge, and no one was really around to help us out. They quoted us over $3k including plumbing, removal, and installation. No thanks. Thanks to Yelp, we did a quick search and found the Natural Stone Kitchen & Bath. It's a small office located on 130 across from the Shop Rite in North Brunswick. We walked in, and Diego walked us through some options and pricing, and we settled on a lovely Quartz countertop. We decided to go with Quartz, as Granite requires yearly sealing and maintenance. We scheduled our template appointment, followed by our installation. It was a smooth process and we ended up paying about $1800 for everything. Good stuff. I worked with Christian on my kitchen countertops and he was fantastic! As busy as he was the day I walked in, he never made me feel rushed or like an inconvenience. He took his time to answer all my questions, was calm, and beyond helpful. After I chose the slab I wanted from the manufacturer, I called Christian with even more questions that he probably heard a million times from other customers, but he treated me the same respectful way. He responded immediately to any of my calls and made my experience from beginning to end flawless. These guys are absolutely fantastic! Words cannot describe how good they are. Marcia is extremely patient and very knowledgeable. Manuel is probably one of the best templaters I have ever seen. He accounts for every single angle, curve, and seam that might become an issue. His templates were so accurate that the team installed everything with very minimal onsite modifications. Rahul, the lead installer the best I have ever seen. His team works like a machine and completes every task to absolute perfection. They installed everything in my house without damaging a single item. They were very careful and attentive to every detail. My project was a fairly large kitchen with a very complex backsplash. I believe my kitchen/ bathrooms came to about 150 sq feet and my backsplash was 120 sq feet. Manuel spent 2 full days templating my job and Rahul spent 2 days installing. My backsplash is a seamless 12mm backsplash with many 45 degree curves. These guys got it done perfectly!!! Thank you very much. read more

We recently had our kitchen countertop remodeled. We had tile & Fernando & staff were very quick & professional. We didn't have to do anything they did it all. First they came over & took the measurements & they traveled approx 30 miles to do so. The 2nd time they templated the countertop & on the 3rd time they removed the old tile & installed our new casearstone countertop all in one day. Most unprofessional and unskilled. Diego the sales guy is the only saving grace nice and terrific guy but rest of the staff is hopeless including Fernando and their lady manager. We really liked dealing with Diego and got sold on his professionalism. The deal looked great with pricing and free sink in sale etc. but don't be fooled by that only. It was our first new home and we wanted it to look perfect and were hoping that it would be done with the same professionalism which Diego showed. Here is the list of their shoddy job 1) The back-splash was not measured correctly and it is smaller than what we had previously. So now after putting back-splash, their is this 1/4 inch gap left between where the wall paint ends and the new back-splash. The installation crew were clueless about. When asked about it they they said that's what was measured. So why on earth did you took wrong measurement ?? 2) For the bathroom faucet they just showed a photo on brochure and we ordered it liking the color. And what we got was a totally different shade although they both are same model #. Why do you have such old and crappy brochures which do not show the real colors and pictures which we are ordering. Ohh and by the way installation crew cannot communicate so every time there is a problem you have to call their office and that Fernando WILL DO YOU A FAVOR just to talk to you and listen to you but will SAY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT and bring her manager. The lady manager will keep on repeating same thing without even listening to you and if you want them to fix their mistake they will charge you extra because that is considered a extra SERVICE VISIT by their PROFESSIONALS (!!!) 3) They put the sink and you need to get plumber separately so don't get fooled by the price of stone and installation because plumber will cost you another $400-500. 4) And the last master stroke, they give you the sink but not any other accessories so you rush to homedepot to buy a strainer and mesh which comes standard with any FU...sink Please take my advice and don't be fooled just by the low price because that's the mistake i committed. Go to big store and some reputed company and get the work done professionally instead of being fooled by low price and shoddy hopeless unprofessional work which you have to live with forever. read more

Excellent customer service. I'm from Brooklyn and they are located in NJ they sent the fabricator to my house no charge. They had the best price imaginable no place in Brooklyn could beat their price. Fernando was the one who helped me and was very accommodating. Even after installation he called to check up and see if everything was alright. I recommend Natural Stone to anyone doing home renovation. So I went in on Saturday around noon. I already had my kitchen measurements done layout set and exact cabinets I needed. All i wanted was a quote on two types of cabinet and granite. Depending on cost I would then decide on which cabinets I wanted to go with. First i asked for a shaker cabinet i a cherry color. She tried pushing a different style cabinet on me and then explained that its not very common for a Cherry shaker cabinet. That is nonsense because I have done three kitchens already and never had an issue (on investment properties). She then told me it would take a bit to price out so no point in waiting. I said OK but "i will have the quote by days end?" She said yes of course. Ok Monday and still nothing, I call and ask her so she told me she would send it out asap. That was 11am. I just called to follow up and asked her again. She asked for a few minutes which i am guessing she spent pricing the cabinets and sent it to me. But she told me the other cabinets will take more time to price. I said ok well when can i expect them? She said tomorrow night... I told her not to bother as I need to decide today. She said well we "are very busy". Well i am glad they are busy and don't need this investors business. But their prices are high any way... read more

I went to the showroom, met with Fernando who listened to what I wanted and my budget and showed me what could be done. We went there thinking we wanted man-made and after Damaris' suggestion we visited warehouses and picked out beautiful granite. Their template crew and installers are top notch and very knowledgable. Don't hesitate to ask their opinion. We made some changes after speaking with installers. We also chose not to take advantage of the free kitchen sink. After going around to various big box retailers and getting estimates, I had built some expectations of how much/long replacing my counter tops would be. Then a friend referred me to this store and told me that they are worth checking out. I went in and found them to be very friendly and helpful. More importantly their prices were much more reasonable than the other estimates I had received. Even then I still had some hesitation as they were not a big brand name store and I was not too familiar with their work. However, I ended up choosing them and could not be happier. From selecting the granite, to fabricating, and to installing the process went smoothly and the results were great. I especially would like to mention that the crew who came over to install the counter tops were very nice and did a clean and quick job.
