Outrageous price but it was well worth it to have the floor looking fresh and clean again. At first glance the job looked great and we loved that the floors look brand new again, however upon closer inspection we noticed that the colour that was used left streaks and smears over our tiles (see pictures). As well when they were here, Mike plugged in his fan and it blew the outlet (see picture). After some back and forth he advised me to have an electrician look at it and he kindly offer to pay for the repair but to hold off on paying until we talked to the electrician. I called our electrician and explained what happened and he said that it sounds like it was the fan that was used. However he was out of town and referred me to his colleague. This electrician came out and only charged $50 to fix it and advised that they was nothing wrong with the plug, and the damage came from the fan that was plugged in. I explained this to Mike and he deducted $50 from our invoice which was paid immediately. He came this afternoon with Carla to fix the colour smears and smudges and proceeded to tell me that this is not from his product but rather from the original grout job. According to Mike the smears and smudges I saw was leftover grout smears over my tile. Talk about gaslighting. I clearly know what my floors looked like before they showed up. I assured him that I have scrubbed this floor for years and never have I seen these markings on the floor. He said that his grout colour product does not stick to tile, only grout and therefore it's not his product. I didn't want to argue with them as clearly I was getting nowhere and I just wanted them out of my house. They spent time fixing the floor but it looks the same, no change. I have no idea what they did today. Likely they realized that in order to fix it they would have to spend hours scraping off the colour. Mike is not taking responsibility for the poor job done, after we paid extra and had the hassle of dealing with the electrician and taking time out of our day to have the outlet replaced. The grout colour left behind on the floor is now our problem and we will have to scrape it off ourselves because they were too lazy to do it themselves. I know for certain that is NOT grout. The smears around the base of the toilet show that it was their product because when the bathroom was tiled 7 years ago, we tiled and grouted and then the installed the toilet, so I would like to know how the grout would show up like that on the tile if the toilet wasn't there (see pictures). This is clear evidence they did a sloppy job cleaning the product from off the tiles and that they will not take any responsibility to fix the job! They have amazing reviews which is why we went with them however we would not recommend for anything but simple SQAURE tiles and nothing intricate, as that is obviously out of their league. We contacted Mike last night to explain how unhappy we are and that we have a Google review ready to post. He never contacted us to make it right.

You can actually see where they cleaned versus where they didn't. They left about a 2 inch gap around the perimeter of the room and surrounding furniture where the carpet meets up against it. The stairs have zigzags so you see anywhere between 2 to 3 inch gaps against the edges. I have off white carpets so it's very noticeable and I made it very clear that I have two dogs and have never had the carpets professionally cleaned and needed a thorough cleaning as I am in the process of getting my house ready to sell. This half-assed cleaning job is the last thing I expected considering they have really good reviews on line. I am so very disappointed.

I called him and he said everything was clean, that he has been doing this for 20 years and that he has no complaints. I am just thrilled with not only the quality of work that was done by Christine and her team, but the caring personal customer service provided by Christine herself and best of all her incredibly reasonable pricing. She felt so bad that I'd had another company cancel on my suddenly and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure she found a spot to take care of my unit. I own a student rental unit in Guelph and with a young family sometimes getting out there on a regular basis can be difficult. One of the services I provide all tenants is that once a year (for now) I will have their unit deep cleaned top to bottom, inside appliances, bathrooms the works. For me being a remote landlord this is extremely difficult and time consuming, so finding reliable, businesses such as C & M Cleaning helps me to ensure I keep my promises to my tenants AND ensure my investment is maintained at all times. Christine came and gave me a quote and it was reasonably fair for the amount of work promised. It ended up being anything but fair... The window sills were done well, the floor was done amazingly, but that was it... none of the walls were cleaned, the light fittings were cleaned, the tiles in the bathroom wasn't cleaned, the baseboards weren't cleaned, the cupboard doors in the kitchen weren't cleaned and I could go on... When I arrived to check the place out as these jokers were leaving, they asked me to give the floors an hour to dry before walking on them. No problem. within a few minutes I got a sob story by text asking if I could pay them straight away as she wanted to have food on the table this weekend. I'm a fair person, so I put thru a part payment and said I would forward the rest after inspecting the job. When I went and found out the lack of work that actually had been done, I tried to cancel the e-transfer but they have it set up so it is automatically deposited into their account and the bank can't retrieve it. SCAM ARTISTS. Don't use these guys unless you want sub-standard work. I wish I could post a picture below of the "S" in the grime on the wall was the one room that the walls were meant to be cleaned.
