Without me having to say a word, Dr. Hayes understood exactly what Chelsea meant to us. She treated my sweet girl with such gentleness, dignity, and love, and showed me extraordinary compassion throughout the entire process. She made an unimaginable day as peaceful and comforting as it could possibly be. I will always be grateful for her kindness and the care she gave Chelsea in her final moments. Dr. Ari Hayes is truly exceptional.

This past weekend, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our cat, Kiki, to sleep after a long battle with her illness. Kiki hated veterinary clinics, and near the end of her life she had been to several. We wanted her final moments to be peaceful, at home, free from the stress of her carrier or the sterile environment of an animal hospital. Dr. Hayes responded to my inquiry immediately: a phone call, a voicemail, a text, and an email with thoughtful resources and her availability. When we finally spoke about Kiki's condition, she was calm, compassionate, and professional. She walked us through every option and was transparent about pricing from the start. What also set Dr. Hayes apart was her availability over the weekend, something that is genuinely difficult to accommodate and not something every provider offers. Her flexibility during what is already an impossibly hard time is noteworthy and deeply appreciated. The day itself was one of the hardest our family has faced, but Dr. Hayes brought a quiet, somber grace to it that was genuinely comforting. She was extremely patient with us, never once making us feel rushed, and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes to Kiki, something that meant more than words can express. As someone who works in medicine myself, I was especially moved by the care and respect she showed Kiki's body after she passed, it did not go unnoticed. She was also wonderfully gentle with our 10-year-old and with Kiki's brother Mason, who wanted to be there to say goodbye. I highly recommend Dr. Hayes to any family navigating this painful decision. Her compassion, professionalism, and flexibility make her exactly the kind of vet you need by your side in those final moments. We are so grateful she exists and does this work. If you are facing this impossibly hard decision, you could not be in more caring hands.

Had our first appointment tonight at Salem Animal Hospital, and brought our 4 year old Keeshond who…read morehas paralyzing anxiety. The assistants and doctors (Dr. Brito, and Vet Tech Lizzy, I believe) were so warming and welcoming, they were also extremely accommodating. They allowed us to bring him through the back doors to avoid extra people, and they selected a different room for him to be more comfortable in (no table, etc), and did the entire exam on the floor where he was comfortable. Very happy with the pricing, I was expecting it to be a lot more and he did have several things done, nails, shots, ears, blood, etc. The best part, they took the time to learn about his behavior at home and asked the right questions, and answered all of ours as well. From start to finish, absolutely a five star. I have transferred my cats here as well, highly recommend. (I have had experience with other vets in the area, and I will say I am never going back!)

What bothered me the most was she should had know about needing the socks. Also, after asking she should of smiled and said, thank you very much I didnt know. When you post that you need items. And someone drops them off make them feel appreciated. I left thinking WOW! No smile, not appreciated. I am sorry I interrupted your morning with a donation.

Professional Pet Sitting Etc - Self-explanatory. This lady should've been on the Debate team. She's going to defend this to the death.

I'd like to post a brief, but supportive email for some of the other comments I've seen here. While…read morethe person I engaged with was pleasant, the intake process just to understanding pricing and get the pets enrolled is beyond excessive. I've been a dog owner for over 20 years and have experience using several certified dog owners. I received over 5 auto generated emails that printed were over a page each, and when I asked questions on cost, was directed to their client log in page that linked 10+ other pages that when printed were over a page in length. I appreciate the attention to detail, but you need to listen to feedback from many customers - this is way too much time to put on the customer and the content is just too much! Ultimately decided to go a different route because I suspect the process even after enrollment will be a PIA!

They really shower attention on our pets and when we return home we are greeted by a happy cat. There was a time when we needed the sitter to give medication to our cat and I was concerned but there was no reason. We came back and all the medicine had been dispensed properly. I love the notes left by the sitter too. Its such a relief to know that our sweet cat is shown care and attention while we are gone, oh and fed!! Our cat will communicate her upset to us by only showing her back to us. This never happens when we have Professional Pet Sitting taking care of her.
