When I called them to let them know this they were unhelpful and even hostile, offering zero means to resolve other than me paying the bill. The situation got worse when they sent a bill collector after me, and I called then more than 4 times, each being told that they would resolve it and confirm this with me. The most recent time I got my insurane company on the line and Mark from Schatzki, who assured me yes it was all an error and would be resolved, and he would follow up in a week. This was in February - I just received yet another reminder to pay the bill 2 months later. They are appalling.

I call them to give them my insurance information and a few months later I get the exact same later stating that I had to call them to give them my insurance information. I provided the information again and the representative said they would notify me via mail if it was taken or not. A few months later got a letter from a debt collector called Peter Roberts & Associates stating that I owed money to Schatzki Associates. There is no way this is legal. I go in every 6 months for mammograms but with my super dense breasts I have to request an ultrasound and an MRI. Just recently looking through my paperwork and realizing I was diagnosed with pash disease, which is considered non-cancerous however, it has been over a decade and I have been complaining non-stop about the discomfort in my right breast just to be ignored and not even told that I have a disease. And when I went in just this last year. Dr. E and I were discussing some things and I exclaimed along the lines of I know that obviously some of the stuff I'm dealing with is hormonal and her response was there. You go. You diagnosed yourself! Never once. Did she ever bring up the fact that Cash disease has a lot to do with estrogen and progesterone or even offered to do a full lumpectomy to remove the painful lesion that has been in my breast for the better part of a decade! I am beside myself with the lack of caring that I have received when it comes to my concerns and being treated like I'm some hormonally challenged person like that doesn't understand their own body! I requested a new breast surgeon. We shall see .. Never mind the fact that the last nurse I spoke to kept insisting I had my biopsy in 2019 which is false. The waiting room is very very small and they overbook so the room is so full that there aren't enough chairs for all of the women standing around in hospital gowns -- for hours. The funny thing is that the female radiologist thought that I had made the appointment there because they were "Harvard" affiliated. No -- I moved here. In August 2022, the office was still very nice and had the most friendly staff with the most caring doctors and nurse practitioners you could find. Unfortunately, I wrote something that was a lot cleaner and organized than this, but it was deleted, and I am in too much pain to focus on writing that again. I have been dealing with a lot under unfortunate circumstances, and was not able to get in until January. I finally thought I was going to be treated right and I was going to be able to walk again. Unfortunately, no. They do not care. Recently After going to two visits, I received a letter that I was being booted from the practice within a month (ironic that the same day I received another letter on MyChart that another nurse practitioner was leaving the practice) even though I was not getting the proper help I am very very upset because I have been going here since I was about 15 years old, so I would say about 20 years and I was desperately hoping that I would finally be able to walk after three years. I cannot find another primary care for at least five months. Not one person had asked who the man was that called and canceled my appointments. I was literally stuck/held inside a house for almost3 years, my own house until somebody did something about the situation. I was not able to receive help for my health. The staff is now awful. Everything has changed. Everything. The receptionists are rude, you get hang ups and they show their true colors pretty easily. At my appointment with Courtney Tessani I had to ask her to look at back. She didn't once look at my legs or feet that I had told her were very swollen and I could not fit in my regular size shoes, I could not even fit in a shoe size that was over three sizes too big. She did not worry about my blood pressure that got to 220/110 and remained high while at the hospital. I told her would go a bit down briefly once I took my medication by 2 hours after taking it already would be through the roof again. She did not go for a quick two minute walk with me to see how the pain started and the other symptoms that happen when I am walking and standing, like the severe anxiety, dripping sweat, and how hard it is to breathe. She had nothing to say when I told her how weak my once in shape muscular body was now. She had nothing to say when I told her I couldn't even shower. Each time I will stand and end up sitting in there nervous how I'm going to get up and not fall; a mother does not want to have her kids see her like this, she doesn't want to have to call her 15-year-old son into the bathroom to help her up. After the first appointment, I got my x-ray and they told me I had some type of scoliosis, but they didn't think that would cause the pain I was having. But they never wondered or even talked about what the cause of the pain I was having was or could be. I had called after that and asked if she could order an MRI, and the nurse Zoe, who is supercilious and arrogant only, had told me her view on it..reminder, she is not a doctor. I had spoken with Dr. Tessani in the next few days at my appointment and I reminded her that in MRI and CT scan are very important steps to look into what the issue is for somebody who is in the pain that I am. I don't want any medication. I want to be able to walk again. I want to be able to stand up for more than three minutes, not leaning against something. I am not in my late 70s. I am 35 years old and this has been happening since June 2023. She said she was going to send something in for an MRI, I had called MtAuburn Hospital to book it a few days later and they are the ones that told me it was not approved which is shocking. But after I've been trying to speak with my doctor or any other doctors since February 20th (that day, they acted like they had no clue it was denied, which I know is false) I had to speak with Zoe again. She condescendingly talked over me the entire time and pretty much told me that the doctor wasn't going to order an MRI and CT and I had to remind her that between her and my last conversation I had seen Dr. Tessani and she did order it. After waiting longer, I had to speak with Zoe, again she was even worse if you can imagine and pretty much said that Courtney Tessani is not doing anything about the insurance not covering it because when she had ordered it, she basically said she did not think I needed it. So it goes to show you that Courtney Tessani does not care about my health, situation, and what she had sent in for the MRI showed that she did not care and pretty much told them that she did not think she thought I needed any further imaging or help.
