What a lovely little place this was. The woman working inside was extremely friendly and lovely to talk to. She had some good recommendations and seemed quite happy to help. This place has a huge variety of syrups thanks to the italian soda side of their menu, so there were some really interesting sounding combos available for both coffee or soda. I was really pleased to find they had decaf espresso on hand, so I got an iced americano with lavender and it was perfect. My wife really enjoyed her oatmilk vanilla latte on the more traditional side. We swing by around 9AM on a weekday and it was not overly busy but there were steady customers. In spite that we got our drinks in just a few minutes. Oh and there are a couple outside tables near the parking lot for those who want to stick around after. read more

We chose Mt Burney Coffee Company because of its proximity to Burney Falls, and it was pretty good! This coffee shop does not have an interior - just a drive-through and walk-up window. We decided to walk up, to get a better look at the menu. They had a large selection of Red Bull Combos, blended drinks, seasonal specials, and flavored syrups. Drove by this cute coffee drive thru on the way back from Burney Falls. I was dying for some caffeine! There was one car in front of us and only one person was working on NYE, which is understandable. The wait time was maybe 10 minutes or so. They have a TON of drinks to choose from here. We ordered an oat milk latte, earl grey tea, a dirty chai and a lavender latte. I did not try the tea (early grey is earl grey) but all the lattes my family and I ordered were excellent! The barista was very sweet and patient when we were ordering and asking questions. Definitely will come back here when I'm back in the area! read more

Coffee and service was great! Really hit the spot. We only had to wait a few minutes.

This is just five miles off the main highway and worth every inch. It's a quaint stand alone with a walk up window, shaded outdoor seating and a drive through. The two folks running it were friendly and made a latte that puts Starbucks to shame. This and the Alpine Drive-in are two country jewels! The town is struggling to stay afloat so I felt particularly good contributing to its economy. Please be sure to experience both places on your travels. read more

This place is adorable! My friend and I were heading back to Reno from camping in McCloud, and needed a caffeine fix for the drive. We decided to venture into Burney to grab some coffee, and this little spot ended up being perfect. They've got all your standard espresso drinks, smoothies, infused Red Bull's, hot chocolate, etc! My friend got the starburst Red Bull, and I ordered the butterfinger iced latte. Drive through or walk-up service, take your pick! We've gotten coffee from L.A. to Seattle, even in all the Islands of Hawaii , I would give this place a 4 star , but since its in the middle of nowhere it gets a 5! The service was great, the barista very sweet...but the coffee was just not good. My mom and I stopped on our way through town on a road trip and got blended coffees on a hot day. Both tasted so little like any actual coffee, that I joked that they tasted like some water that once sat next to a single coffee bean, and my mom said they tasted like we were drinking the water that someone used to rinse out their coffee cup. The owner of this establishment is extremely unprofessional. He has a very bad attitude. I bought a coffee for my wife, it was not made correctly. I went back and asked to have it remade. The girl made the coffee and then tried to charge me again. I left the establishment without my money or my coffee. I was given the owners phone number and my wife called him. He's staunchly defended there position, and then told us to go to Dutch Brothers. I believe he thinks that because he owns the only establishment selling coffee in Burney that he doesn't have to be nice to his customers.
