Instructors, the front desk, their advertising and everything will tell you that unused classes will roll over to the following month, but no one will ever explain to you there's a cap to the amount that roll over until after you're automatically charged hundreds of dollars for months of classes that don't exist. If you explain to them your family member is dying and you were too busy taking care of their hospice plans to attend classes and had no idea this policy existed and ask if there's anything they can do to help you, they will tell you that you signed a contract and should've read it better. I have loved the classes here, but my heart is broken over their lack of communication and compassion. This is incredibly unfair, and I just want you to know the reality of what you're signing up for before you get trapped by predatory policies and fine print no one will ever mention like I did.

Denise did not take children under two years old but made an exception and took my daughter. Since then both my daughters have danced with Denise and now my very shy four-year-old great-niece is dancing with her and just performed in her third dance recital! Denise's program is unmatched and the children really love being able to have fun in a non-threatening learning environment. It was great finding a local, well ( Rochester) way, new venue, I'm from a suburb of Buffalo. After searching other theaters in the local Rochester area, this fit my availability . There are various productions held throughout their season, starting in a few months. The theater held a summer program for kids. The kids were then in one of the plays held for the public. I choose to see Legally Blonde 2, at Nazreth College. Even though, ran late as it was my first time at Nazreth College, for a performance, staff and patrons were kind in getting us late comers sitted. Talented young kids, look forward to checking out one of there regular productions in the future.

However, there were some frustrations. When purchasing tickets, it wasn't made clear that this was a high school student production, which led to different expectations. The biggest issue, though, was the venue itself. The café space was much more cramped than advertised, and the seating chart didn't accurately reflect how tight the setup would be. There were just two of us, and it already felt uncomfortable. If the table had been full, it would have been extremely tight--likely to the point where we would have left. I appreciate the effort from the cast, but clearer, more honest communication about both the type of production and the seating arrangement would make a big difference.

Throughout almost the entire season, communication with parents was minimal. As recital approached, there was no dress rehearsal scheduled for the day before the performance, and no communication about that until parents began asking questions during the week of the recital. Even more concerning, no information was provided regarding arrival times, check-in procedures, or what was expected of the dancers throughout the day. The only information parents received came after repeatedly asking, and the response was essentially, "I think 10:30 will work" for an 11:00 a.m. recital. In the entire 9 months my daughter participated, I never learned the instructors' names and never met the owner a single time. That level of disconnect is surprising and, in my opinion, unprofessional for a youth program. As someone who has coached youth programs for several years, I understand the importance of communication with parents--especially when working with very young children. Keeping families informed should be a priority, not an afterthought. I am grateful for the experience my daughter had and the enjoyment she got from dancing. However, I am completely dissatisfied with how this business is managed. It feels as though the owner may be stretched too thin between multiple locations and simply does not have the time to properly oversee and support the Bath location. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this studio. I hope this review helps other parents make an informed decision when choosing a dance program for their child.

Students have said that the teachers make learning fun and at the same time challenging while learning. Don't waste your money going anywhere else if you want an enjoyable experience for you or your child to learn to dance. Teachers are always accessible to talk to and are very understanding, patient and willing to help students and parents with any questions or concerns. Their competition teams are awesome and have won numerous awards. There is also alot of one-on-one attention given to students during their classes. This is a school where the teachers really invest themselves in your dance education whether you are looking to be a serious dancer or a recreational dancer.
