To do the transfer, we went into the Keizer storage office and signed paperwork as needed. I stayed until I was told the transfer was complete. Moving forward six months, I go into the storage center to rent a unit. I'm then informed I'm responsible for a $1200 storage bill. Shocked and confused, I explained the unit had been transferred out of my name, and I had no access to the unit since the transfer nor any communication. The manager then said the office employee failed to sign all the documents as required; therefore, the unit, along with a $1200 bill, defaulted to me. I was not a contact on the unit or given permission to access it after signing it over; therefore, I had zero contact with the storage center. I received no notices, letters, emails, or calls. During the six months, the storage center accessed the unit several times without approval, notice, or permission. On multiple occasions, The storage center permitted employees and others unknown to me to access the unit, removing property as desired. The Keizer Storage Center takes Zero responsibility for the actions of its employees, managers, or what happens on their grounds. You pay to protect your property behind a locked gate only to have the employees access and grant others access to property not belonging to the storage center. I will never do business with them and will warn anyone considering it. Keizer Storage Center has what I believe is an auto-response of "We would love the opportunity to resolve any issues." What would be genuine is to take responsibility and apologize for your wrongdoing, train your employees to complete unit transfers correctly, follow the law and stay out of units without proper notice, not give access to a unit without consent, and refund the money paid.

The man said he felt unsafe around me. I was profiled by a stranger and then they went as far as trying to remove me from 'their' storage area by maliciously making up perverted lies. I'm a young heavily tattooed female who travels and camps with my partner a lot in the summer. The first week I was even really around (cleaning from a huge move, the camp, laundry to store away, tiny bit of bead-work unpacking) we got a complaint yet my partner and I had already had our storage in the facility for 4 months. We have the same address. Its preposterous to think me with even a gate code, and my padlock code, how am I a danger or showing I am not allowed to be there? Obviously I'm not a criminal. Its laughable really. This storage area lets people loiter all the time, use the car wash rv dump wash area, chat with neighbors, and work in their units. Ive seen people drinking beer in front of their units with food laid out. Im not allowed to be around the same solely because of profiling although we were given tons of excuses why we can't be around. Its profiling. So beware if you're a tattoo artist or in an alternative field with tattoos... This area has a renter that lies even tho video cameras are around and no one checks them if they're on im guessing, If they were checked or running they'd see the blatant attack at me from a creep I never met. So beware cameras aren't monitored here presumably because of the ability and ease of someone creating such a story with no one reviewing. I have no clue how anyone would live in a storage unit here when they have a home but I digress. Beware of profiling if you have art on you. A very scared hateful person here will make your storage experience uncomfortable and hurtful to say the least. The owner could do a better job having other renters mind their own business while he checks his cameras to see if the complaint is even real or possible to begin with! Poor use of surveillance cameras. All for show!

When looking for a place to store our cargo trailer this seemed like a good choice as it is…read moreadvertised as secure and the main office has several screens displaying all of the cameras on the property. The rates were decent and they were very friendly. They served us well for over a year before our trailer was stolen from the property during normal business hours by two men who entered using a code which we found to be shared to an untold amount of workers for a construction company which is one of many who are storing trailers and equipment in this facility. We didn't expect the facility to cover any of our losses however it was disappointing to find that no changes have been made since this happened to ensure that it would be an isolated incident. The representative from the construction company who we spoke with actually told us that they had shared the gate code with too many of their employees to change the code. (Yes, you read that right) the gate code that was used to enter and take our trailer is still active as far as we know. When I spoke with other tenants of the facility from other company's coming to pick up equipment in the morning they had no idea that this had happened despite it being a week later and seemed very worried about their belongings as well due to the fact that they too believed the facility to be very secure. We were provided with video of the people who took our trailer including getting to look at them right in the face as they entered the gate code and the cameras showed them driving off with all of our families belongings in a vehicle with no plates during normal business hours. We were not notified and had no way of knowing that our trailer had been taken until we came to the facility to pick it up only to find that it was gone. It is also worth noting that many trailers inside the gates of this facility remain without any locks preventing them from being stolen as well due to this really seeming to be a secure facility despite our family founding out otherwise the hard way. Included is a picture of the man who was able to drive in and take all of our family memories without raising any suspicion during business hours using a gate code that was shared "to too many people to be able to change it"
