My little 8-year-old had to have her adenoids and tonsils removed. She was a little nervous, but every single person at this facility made her feel comfortable. Checking in at the front desk was easy. I had filled out the necessary documents online, so check in went quick. I also had my payment ready which was helpful (and they gave me a 10% discount). While I was signing documents, the sweet lady at the front desk chatted with my daughter and made her feel better. This was just the first good encounter of many. We didn't wait long before we were called back. The young lady that took us back was so sweet with my daughter. I wish I had caught we her name. She also helped to calm the nerves of my daughter. The anesthesiologist was an absolute hoot! We loved his "dad jokes." It was nice of him to come in and explain the anesthesia process to my 8-year-old. It helped her to know what to expect. Dr. Major also popped in to say hello. He was great with explaining things and calming the nerves. After speaking with him, I knew she was in good hands. Surgery went super quick (which is a good sign)! They had me back there with her in the recovery room in no time at all! The nurse, Michelle, is possibly the sweetest human being to exist. She's the one who took care of my child after surgery. She brought her water, a popsicle, and a nice warm blanket. When my daughter was still shivering, Michelle rushed to get her another warm blanket. She made sure my child was as comfortable as she could be. Michelle sat down with me and explained what to expect and how to care for my daughter post surgery. She highlighted the very important information and made sure I didn't have any questions. She gave me a few tips and tricks which have been a lifesaver. When my daughter was feeling well enough, Michelle wheeled her out to my car in a wheelchair. She let me bring the car around the front so my daughter didn't have to be out in the cold. We had a great experience here and I'd highly recommend this surgical center! read more

The nurses and physicians were good, they made me comfortable and I've had no complications from the surgery. However, they lied to us about the crutches I needed afterwards being free -- I would not have accepted them if I knew I had to pay for them. We were assured they were complementary and that was a lie. I would go to a more reputable place that does not cheat and lie to its patients -- and I wonder if they've cut corners elsewhere in quality of care, as this sort of immoral and unethical behavior may have seeped in elsewhere. I am with Zayne on this one. Clinically, top notch service. I have NEVER in my life dealt w/ such a horrible organization. I am surprised they do not have a mafia person going door to door. Prior to my surgery I was called and they told me the wanted 1200.00 prior to my surgery which what they told me was 10%. Funny thing is the most I would have had to pay was 600.00 maximum because my out of pocket had nearly been met and the surgeon had already processed his claim. I told them this then they said they would take 700.00. Again I told them that is not 10% of what I owe. The lady I talked to said she would take 300.00. I asked her why they were so rude as I had never been there before and it is not like I had an outstanding balance. Her response was they have to be because some people do not pay their bills. I showed up the morning of my surgery and in signing paperwork, they tried to hand me a payment arrangement for 1200.00 and told me I could not get my surgery unless it was signed, nothing like stressing people out prior to anesthesia. So I signed it w a note that said this arrangement is only valid IF the amount owed is exact to the arrangement amount otherwise it would be null and void. (I knew it would not be the amount they put). After my surgery I contacted the Office Manager and Center Administrator about the issues....nothing, no apology, no nothing. Then my bill was $200.00 owed, then I got a bill for $2000.00 after that. By this time I was told I owed 1200, then 700, then 1200, then 200 and now we are up to 2000, because the ACL for an ACL surgery was not authorized. By this time I was talking to someone out of the Ogden office as I was passed off to her by the Administrator who told me she would work everything out. When I checked back with her she said everything was taken care of and if I owed anything she would let me know. She never responded back, and I never received a bill. Until March of 2019, the Surgery was May of 2018. When I received the bill, I noticed I was charged for a non human synthetic ACL, but they handed me paperwork it was a human cadaver the day of my surgery, and now I owe 200.00. I contacted the regional office of Mountainstar to let them know of the situation and a regional manager called and said he would call me back on March 29th and never did. I requested an answer to the ACL issue and an itemized bill for which he had and would call the following Monday (April 1). I received a call from him on April 15th and he left a message stating he had the paperwork he said he had on March 29th. I had already sent a formal complaint to the regional office on 4/12. Now to see who finally resolves this issue. Him or his boss, because up to this point no one seems to care, but we all know if any of us made arrangements with them and we ignored those arrangements, especially after a year, we would have been sued, garnished and our first born probably taken with the way they do business. It is sad though, because as I started this review, the clinical care there is top notch...I just will NEVER deal with the billing office there again. Had my tonsils removed and surgery went great but the poor review comes from there billing department ive never had to deal with such savage cut throat crooks in my life. I set up a payment plan for $50 a month during that phone call they told me it needed to be payed off in 6 months ($1500 bill) after a lot of harassment I finally got them to accept my $50 a month. First three months they only pulled the $50 they were supposed to month 4 they pulled over $400 dollars put us in the negative in our bank account when we called them they told us it had been approved and they would not refund the money even though it meant we couldn't put food on the table but the reluctantly agreed to only pull $100 a month after a lot of harassment about it needing to be paid in 6 months well one month later they pull $536 out of our account bottom line if you need surgery and you need financing NOT YOUR PLACE read more

billing at mt ogden is a joke. they are not willing to work with you.they didnt even finish billing my insurance before they tried to send me to collections. stay away from mt ogden. there are other places that will help you. david and his team will not. stay away they are not worth your breath. read more
