(repost from Google reviews since prospective patients deserve to be fully informed before choosing…read moreFowers as their PCP) I've been seeing Fowers for a year or so, and she's a great primary if you only need the basics. However, she's not empathetic or knowledgeable about serious symptoms and struggles of unknown chronic ailments. She's more likely to laugh and tell you it's all in your head rather than admit she doesn't have the answer. If you have serious health problems and need to see a family medicine doctor for guidance on what paths to follow on diagnosis and treatment, look elsewhere. I've seen previous primary care doctors that do listen and take you seriously, so I know there's more like them out there, but Fowers isn't one. Medical gaslighting is a serious problem that can lead to greater psychological stress and a possible worsening of symptoms to the point where a condition is too far advanced for efficient treatment once it has been identified by an experienced doctor Healthcare professionals should know better. I suggest you look elsewhere for your healthcare needs. *Note: When I broke down and told her my worsening physical symptoms had brought my life to a halt, she laughed and told me that it wasn't true. Perhaps if I had brought a witness to advocate for how badly my health has declined, she wouldn't have been so arrogant. Needless to say, I will not be seeing Fowers anymore. ________________________________________ Update 05/2024: after finding an amazing doctor, we confirmed that I have a rare, and debilitating, blood and metabolic disease that has progressed into a syndrome and is now past the point of being treatable. I developed severe UV sensitivity, suffer in immense pain, and have irreversible cognitive and motor neuron damage. I am completely disabled with a novel Porphyric syndrome at just 30 years old. Contrary to what Fowers had said when she laughed at me as I broke down crying, I was not well. In fact, my disease is almost identical in symptomology as lead poisoning. If I had been referred to a hematologist as I had requested back in Oct. 2023, my disease may not have progressed to the point of complete disability. In fact, she refused to refer me to any specialist at all at the time. After speaking with my nurse advocate, she was appalled at this. I've been given an attorney to assist me in filing a lawsuit. Jody Fowers is not only incompetent but malicious to those with complex illnesses. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN WITH YOUR HEALTH. I feel it is my duty to ensure this traumatic experience does not happen to anyone else. Rare and complex diseases exist. No one deserves to be mistreated or denied proper care, much less patients with complex symptoms. Until Jody Fowers understands that, she has no right to call herself a healthcare professional.

HOWEVER, I have had numerous challenges with billing, scheduling appointments, prescription refills, etc. For example, the Ogden Clinic Website is Very Difficult to Use. It doesn't explain how to enter information, it justs locks up until you figure it out. Example, enter phone number without dashes, or that the "Commercial" payment method refers to using your insurance. It also goes through the whole send a code, fill out address, email, phone number, etc. only to tell you they can't process your request and to call a number--which apparently is available 24/7, but again doesn't tell you that. COME ON OGDEN CLINIC, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS.

There questionnaire app is not cell phone friendly. You need a tablet or computer to navigate it properly. Because of this, I had answered multiple questions incorrectly when filling out my medical history. Unfortunately might just word-of-mouth explaining my mistake and showing the issues was not good enough. I needed to go to my medical provider with their paperwork to prove I did not have the procedure that they were asking me to produce documentation for as well as they needed more information on my pre-diabetic care. As I cannot work without my medical, I make arrangements to see my regular care provider the next day, and as I explain that I could be back the next day with my paperwork after I've paid for the medical and performed all of the test and passed they tell me the doctor is only in once a week. That alone, I would not have chosen this facility to do my medical however I took the paperwork to show that I did not have a vein graft as I had accidentally put a yes to when trying to fill out my paperwork and took it to my regular Doctor Who verified what I said I did not have a vein graft. I had a stent put in, and I had been released by my cardiologist at that point under the federal motor carrier regulations it is up to the discretion of the doctor performing test whether I need a stress test or not at no time. Did the doctor mention that she would want a stress test done if I had a stent put in only that if I had a graph she would like one and had to have one under the federal Moyter carrier guidelines. I went to my regular physician had all the paperwork filled out the next day yet had to wait a week before me. Dallas could have a medical provider look at it on the following Monday, I called to ask about picking up my medical clearance and card so I could go back to work and at that time the doctor because I had proven I didn't have the vein graft then decided that they wanted a stress test done for my stent that I have been medically cleared for which again is at her discretion not required to receive my DOT medical as I called the office, asking to talk to the office manager and the Head physician for the federal motor carrier inspections at Medallus. None of these people would return my phone. Call the office manager the head of the doctor department they kept having their underlings call me with the same response of it was on paperwork. It wasn't on paperwork. It is not required. It is to the discretion of the provider my personal physician who can issue a DOT medical after filling out the paperwork meals had given me told me he is licensed to do the inspections and felt there's no reason that I should not be granted one after two days of calling me, Dallas and making issue of the incompetence and the lying of their provider saying she did not know about the stent after she and I had multiple long conversations about it, explaining my mistake of putting a graph. She then lies saying she had no idea. I finally tell me, Dallas I would just like my money back because again they're incompetence and the fraudulent statements of their provider. I do not feel that I got what I paid for and again the office manager would not call me back. She had her underlings call to tell me that that's not gonna happen they provided the service. I highly recommend never going to any meals medical for your DOT physical. The doctors are not honest they don't tell you there's only a doctor in the office once a week and when you fill out the paperwork showing that you have not lied to them, they then use their power to make up more reasons of why you cannot receive your medical and I'm out another hundred dollars to go pay a confident doctor to provide me with the DOT medical. I need more frustrating than anything was and my request to talk to management management would not talk to me and their answers. We're not Jermaine to any of the questions that I had and for to be clear I do not have an issue and I don't have a problem with it being the medical providers discretion to ask me for a stress test what bothers me is she waited until I provided all the documentation she'd ask for to receive my medical and when I had proven, I did not have a graph she then started to request for more documentation and that is my issue. I would rate this place as negative stars but they only let me have a one star anybody needing medical attention or a DOT medical with this kind of competency that I've been shown and provided I highly recommend you go anywhere but to these facilities.

There was an accident on the freeway on the way there, which delayed us quite a bit. Tanner Clinic made room for us and made sure that they fit us in even though we were late because they knew that we had a long drive there. I am so impressed with this clinic. I felt so great about my mom going there that I have decided to transfer my pain clinic from Murray. They were very proactive regarding injections that will come in the future for her. They explained everything clearly and the entire staff was incredibly friendly. As soon as you walk in, you will feel at home. It was easy to ask questions because they want you to be informed and left plenty of time for us to ask any questions we had. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. I anticipate that this will be our clinic for a long time to come and I look forward to having a wonderful relationship with this clinic. If you have been in a pain clinic before, you know how difficult some of these offices are. Tanner Clinic has proved to me that not all pain clinics are negative and there are pain clinics that truly care about your well-being. Thank you Tanner Clinic for being so wonderful with my mom and I know you will take care of me as well!!

First lab took over an hour to get in second was a month later and took nearly 2 hours of sitting and waiting. I asked to try it weekly as this medication has a half life of 4-5 days. After 8 weeks, 2 labs and 2 visits I was put on a dose so low that my pharmacist (who is also on TRT) mentioned it was the lowest dose they had ever seen and thought it was a mistake, especially as it was for every 2 weeks. He was taking more than that 2x per week. Talked to doctors office and they for some reason called in the same exact prescription again? I asked everyone I knew who was on it, looked into the Urology association and Endocrinology society and the MINIMUM recommended dose (along with everyone I talked to on it was) 1.0 per week, with many people only starting with that. Doctor Doxey had put me on .5 every two weeks, so basically 1/4th of what the minimum recommended dose is despite a lab showing levels of total T of 167. When I mentioned this they told me they would possibly re-evaluate in 3 months after another lab and the girl on the phone said "why do you think it is low?" I mentioned others had higher labs and were receiving 1.0 - 2.0 per week along with the Urology and Endocrinology guidelines and her response was "Too bad for you they cant prescribe it to you" . Made it very clear I was going to someplace that didnt really know what they were doing and really didnt care. Dont go here, they really dont mind wasting your time and money and I was going to be 4-5 months into this treatment along with bills for 3 labs and 5 visits before MAYBE getting a dose that would do anything. I made an appointment with a specialist named Westbroke in Ogden and they got me an appt right away and agreed that .5 every 2 weeks is just a waste of time and money and like everyone else on the planet, prescribed 1.0 per week.

Miscommunication led me to believe that her office would contact TriCare for referral. That did not happen and after I found out the X-Ray dept. would take care of that when I schedule the appointment. That happened in that way. I had my CAT Scan on 2/4/26. A longer wait than I expected, but that was du to a misunderstanding. I can deal with that. The following morning on 2/5/26 at approx 8:40 A.M. I missed a call from her nurse as I was working and not able to get to the phone. At 10:05, I returned that call. I was not surprised to hear the nurse was busy and would call me back. I waited and waited. No call. So on Feb 5 at 2:40 P.M I called again. The nurse was busy and again was told as soon as she was done with the patient she was with she would call me. Nothing. Again, no call on Feb 6. On Feb 9, I called once again. I explained to the person answering the call that this was my third time trying to get a hold of someone and my call has not been returned. She put me on hold and checked with the nurse. Busy again. This time she told me that the nurse wanted to be reminded to call me after she was done with her patient. Well, no surprise to me that I did not receive a call. I am not happy with the staff who says they need to have a reminder to call a patient back. I am that unimportant to this staff member that they have to be reminded to call me. So I wait. This is the first time dealing with this particular location. Honestly, I am having a hard time envisioning me returning here. I will wait for an appointment with my PCM at another Ogden Clinic location.
