I was greeted at 7:30 am by a friendly employee, earlier than the scheduled 8:00 opening. The mechanics and additional staff arrived early as well, and they had my vehicle on the lift before 8:00. They charged a fair price, and they explained the issues before performing the work. Another customer came in with a nail in his tire, and they fixed it for free. I was pleased with my experience at Mt Pleasant Tire.

They appear to be busy but I was greeted as if I were the only customer that mattered.

I'm still trying to figure out how a $1500.00 tire quote and an alignment with a 5% equals out to…read morebe $2065.00. I know or hope that the alignment didn't cost that much? I know that they have to include taxes, but really? Plus my truck is a XD Diesel Truck, which means that the tires have different tire pressures than the light 1/2 ton pickup trucks. Their technicians deal with tires every single day and should know that and should know the difference in tire pressures for the different style of vehicles. If they don't know that information, then that's what your training program is for. If you don't have a training program and all else fails, look inside of the driver's door jamb. The manufacturer puts their sticker with their tire information and tire pressures there. Don't fret though, the dealerships get my tire pressures wrong when they rotate my tires and don't correct the tire pressures when rotating the tires. When I left the store and my low tire warning pressure sensors activated on my driver's panel screen, I scrolled to the tire pressure readings and sure enough they showed 36-38 PSI in the tires. I called the store and luckily they hadn't closed yet, it was after 5PM when they finished my truck. I explained to the Manager what was going on and he must have had the technician close to him when he tried to explain to me that it would take some rotations of the tires to reset the tire sensors. I was like four miles away from the store already. Then I explained to him the type of vehicle that I had and it "clicked" in their heads and the technician admitted that the wrong incorrect tire pressure was put into the tires. He told me to bring it back and he would fix it since everyone was gone. I told him that I had a compressor and that I would fix it when I got home then it would be done correctly. I will say that they do a lot of business there at the store and work safely from what I observed. They might want to work on keeping the outside area free from debris. Tires can pick up the debris that is laying in front of the bay areas on the ground. Get a robotic street sweeper or something to keep that area clean. But they are a busy facility that looks like they do a lot of work. From what I seen and heard if you have safety issues with your vehicle they will address the issues with you and fix them so that your vehicle is not a safety hazard leaving their facility. I totally agree with them with that policy. PS, getting the same tires from the dealership who would not price match would have been an additional $300.00 more on the tires.

Firebird 2002…read morePontiac Firebird WS-6 with 6 speed manual transmission. Traveling from MS to CO and back to MS. Clutch started acting up (dragging, hanging up at bottom of stroke) in CO. Locally recommended mechanic checked it out by sitting in car, depressing clutch, and shifting it. Mechanic said it was pilot bearing. Couldn't get to it for six weeks because of shop repair load. Other shops backed up the same way. Said ok to drive and wouldn't be a problem. Clutch continued to get worse, getting to the point it would go to the floor and stick after simply touching the pedal at the top of the pedal stroke. Went to locally recommended repair shop in Bayfield. Shop also backed up but owner would work it in for my friend. After sitting at the shop all day, said it was slave cylinder leaking but ok to drive. Take several days to get parts and repair it. Left and drove to Mt Pleasant, Tx. Clutch getting worse to the point I was expecting total failure. Friend recommended Rychliks. Took car to Rychliks late on Thursday afternoon. Talked to Wesley and told him what other mechanics had said. Wesley/Rychliks were also backed up but he'd work it in. Rychliks ordered parts they thought it would need that Thursday evening/night. Started repair Friday morning. Shirley called me and said they had the parts but one part (clutch?) was expensive and did I want them to continue. I said yes. She replied maybe the expensive part wouldn't be needed. Got a call around noon Friday that they had it back together (the "expensive" part wasn't needed), but also needed a clutch master cylinder, which was hard to find. There were ones in Dallas, Houston, and Oklahoma City. Hopefully they could get one in Saturday morning. My friend drove me to Dallas and we got the master cylinder. Returned to Rychliks about 5pm that Friday evening and Beau started replacing the master cylinder. Saturday just before noon, Shirley called me that my Firebird was repaired. Had replaced worn out throw out bearing, slave cylinder, and master cylinder. Pilot bearing, clutch, and clutch fingers were all good and the repair cost was very reasonable. Plus, the clutch works great, as good as it did when the car was new (I bought it new and it only has 49,000 miles on it). Thank you Wesley, Beau, Shirley, and the rest of the mechanics who worked on my car. You did a great job and I really appreciate it. You are a Christian organization and a pleasure to do business with. By the way, yes, I do work on my own vehicles and farm equipment, having replaced clutches, brakes, rebuilt engines, etc, so I had a pretty good idea of what sounded reasonable (Pilot bearing sticking? Hmm, not likely). Yes, I could have replaced/repaired it myself at home with my tools and access to a lift and transmission jack. However, I was concerned the clutch wouldn't get me home plus at 73 years of age, repairing vechicles isn't nearly as much fun as it used to be.

5 stars isn't high enough. I have used Rychliks Auto for 15 years for everything from oil changes…read moreto major body work. The owner Wesley and body work tech and mechanics Greg and Billy Bob have always done a outstanding job with a fast turn around on my vehicles. I have not found any better garage. They have always been fair, upfront and honest on all the work they have done. I just had to have my Jeep put in the shop in January for $5,900.00 worth of body work after a woman hit me. They had my baby up and running in 2 weeks after the insurance adjuster gave the go ahead. It looks brand new again. I would recommend them to anyone, they have a great team that is friendly, honest and does quality work at reasonable rates. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else and neither should you if you want reasonable quality work. I highly recommend them for all your auto needs!
