The decor was so inviting and relaxing, the house was clean, the bed was comfy and was the perfect choice for a romantic vacation! SDV has its own app that will give you tons of information on your property, on the city and it will make you fell confident and relaxed to stroll by Savannah streets. This house is prefect located in the heart of the historic center. We walked most of the time to our adventures in the city! We did a picnic at the park, visited museum, chased the ghosts of the town, we had a BLAST! Savannah is a charming and welcoming city to say the least about it. Although this unit…read morehas been completely remodeled inside with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances and beautifully tiled bathrooms, it is in a noisy neighborhood. The street is occupied by several college-aged renters that can be disruptive at night. On our first night we experienced a small party with bongo drum playing, loud singing and yelling until midnight. The night of the 20th, two doors down there was a raucous party from 11:00 PM until 6:00 AM. We experienced loud yelling, car door slamming, car alarms going off, cars coming and going, and at 1:30 AM the police arrived. There is also a new house being built across the street with loud hammering and sawing starting at 7:45 AM. Next door to this is a barking pit bull. This rental requires a non-refundable "cleaning fee" of $150. Why I don't know! We left the unit as we found it. Maybe it is for the little shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion that is in the bathrooms. Although nicely remodeled, I cannot recommend this rental. The neighborhood is just too noisy and active for a relaxing vacation.

The kept the abandoned empty glasses and plates for the pre dinner cleared. I really loved the eggplant finger food and I don't even like regular prepared eggplants and I couldn't get enough. Also, I wanted plain water without the lemon wedge because lemon is a trigger for migraines and the waiter obliged. Two other waiters even came back to double check I got my water. Once the main dinner started the waiters were on top of bringing food out AND clearing plates AND topping off people drinks and wine. They were AWESOME, all the men and women that worked our farewell dinner, a big THANK YOU!!

We didn't get informed about ANY of the imenities of the property when we checked in including hotel cars, bikes, etc... also, the front desk staff told us there were pickleball and tennis courts so we walked over only to be let down that the courts were just for tennis, why would they lie about that? Lastly, it was dissapointing when we would go out to the pool and couldn't get two chairs for the both of us. All in all, I would probably go back but with some reservations, I agree with other reviews you don't get what you pay for here from a service perspective and 5 star treatment.

They sent over the most unprofessional maid service we've ever experienced. Instead, we decided to go out on our own to provide our customers with a beautiful environment to enjoy the Hostess City of Savannah in true style and grace. We made more money on our own, too. So, my suggestion is do not use the Savannah agencies but rather find reliable owners who rent for themselves (not run by narcissists who only care about themselves but somehow still manage to lose business for themselves in the process). Btw we are no longer running an Airbnb but it was awesome as long as we handled things because we know how to be good hosts: we are considered Super Hosts via Airbnb. Please have a great stay here w/out them. Of course, everyone has their own opinion. We just happen to prefer polite, civilized behavior to toxic behavior and this town is no exception to the rule. The thermostat is not able to go lower than 70. We utilized a ceiling fan and a small table fan and still sweating through the night. When I reached out for help with this I was told to utilize the fans and that she was not able to do anything else. We paid for 3 nights and stayed 1. We ended up staying in a hotel for the remainder of our stay. I reached out to VRBO for assistance and they spoke to the host and requested a refund for the remainder of our stay however it was declined. I was told that 70 was the lowest the ac could be set due to freezing issues however looking back at past reviews here (which I am kicking myself for not doing) there are other complaints of the same where host stated the ac cannot be lower than 70 due to electric bills and that the unit was replaced in March 2025. Confused why it would have freezing issues with a new unit. Would not recommend staying in this no insulated garage. Terrible experience. What a waste of money however enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express! Check reviews on their website as well, again wish I did more research on this "sauna" prior to booking. I would also not book through VRBO any longer due to this awful experience.

There were several positive things about this company and the condo. First, people at Stay Savannnah (SS) were very prompt in returning messages to answer my questions about the condo and get it booked. They were the fourth company I contacted about reserving a condo. The other three never returned my messages. The condo was easy to locate and very clean. It is also in an excellent location. You can walk to River St. and Bay St. easily. There were though some things that were disappointing about my experiences in the condo. First, there was no extra toilet paper. We looked high and low for it and ended up having to go buy some. Second. while SS said we would have free wirelsss, that service was password protected. This is fine, but I would have appreciated being given the passwork. I am sure I could have called them to get it but we decided to just not bother. A few other things made this experience less than great. The table on the back deck was broken and completely unusable. One of the showers needed some drain-o poured down it I think. We were always standing in a pool of water whenever we showered. One of the chairs in the master bedroom had a big tear across the bottom. Also, there were no hairdryers. This may be a minor point, but I have stayed in many condos/cabins/houses like this before and they are always there. It would have been nice to know they would not be provided. Finally, SS did not leave any directions at the condo about what to do upon checkout (other than how to return the key). We cleaned up after ourselves as best as we could. We wanted to take out the trash, but there was no obvious place to deposit it. There were also no extra trash bags which we could have used. In short, the condo was fine but for the 600.00 or so dollars we paid to stay there for three nights it seemed a bit expensive given their lack of attention to the details mentioned above.

We drove past it twice before we realized that was indeed the location. The building is a loft layout and there is no elevator. The units are clean and spacious and the natural lighting of the main sitting rooms is very welcoming. Beds and linens are comfortable and the noise levels in the building are tolerable. The street activity is relatively quiet and for a Friday night, things got settled soon after midnight. The kitchen area is functional and contains all necessary items for food preparation
