1 star for practice mismanagement While the doctor I saw here was professional and kind, the administrative side of this office is deeply flawed and caused significant delays in my care. For two months, I called repeatedly to clarify a recommended procedure. Despite being reassured multiple times by the front desk that I'd receive a call back, I never heard from the medical assistant or manager. When I finally spoke with the acting manager (after more than a dozen calls to reach them, over months), they misunderstood the procedure code involved and repeatedly gave incorrect information -- not only to me, but also to the other provider doing the procedure. It was ultimately the medical assistant who had to untangle everything, a big mess caused by the acting manager. This level of miscommunication and lack of follow-through is unacceptable in any medical setting. It's clear the administrative staff needs much better training and support. I strongly recommend against choosing this practice -- I wish I had. read more

Ridiculous scheduling requests, quite possibly the worst healthcare organization I have ever worked with (which is saying a lot). From their "recommended " list of providers, who are nearly as awful as they themselves are, to their useless support organization. Everything is overpriced, and I couldn't possibly recommend this facility less. You have been warned. read more

As a new client, I was warmly on-boarded and soon introduced to the two doctors who very ably assessed and treated my troubling ear issue. On both the first and the post treatment appointment, I was really impressed by both doctor's genuine caring that helped to allay my fears, which I'm sure had a lot to do with the resulting positive outcome. I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. Dr Ing is incredible!!! She is kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. Unfortunately my insurance changed and I couldn't see here for almost a year. What a big mistake! I'll be back soon! I can't wait to be under her care again come 2023. I use this platform to express gratitude on businesses that deserve credit. I rarely use Yelp to shine a negative light because i understand the damage it can reflect on your business. First off, I was billed $400 for WHAT? I had a 5 minute consultation with Dr. Aleen Lee that told me I had to visit another specialist. I received NO FOLLOW UP CALL from Dr. Lee and received NO information about my diagnostic. I am OUTRAGED. WHAT DID YOU BILL ME $400 FOR?! It has been FIVE MONTHS, yes whole five months and Dr. Lee has me on her "todo" list for follow up calls.The receptionists keep calling me and pushing back the date for Dr. Lee to call me back. I am honestly so frustrated and livid with these poor practices and protocols. BEWARE: This office takes full advance of you when they see you are covered with a good insurance. I got taken advantage of. Furthermore, I set up an auto payment each month to pay for this 5 minute appointment that gave me zero answers. I got a letter in the mail stating I was in the process of being filed for a collection agency. When I called the lady said "that's weird it says on your account you have auto draft." This was the straw that broke the camels back. I am outraged by the medical practices they show here. I work in healthcare and would be embarrassed to showcase this service. read more

I developed a sudden severe sinus problem that ended in surgery. During the 8 week work up and treatment period and then the surgery and post-operative care, I was impressed with both Dr Lee and Dr Chan. They are excellent ENTs and they were very attentive. I highly recommend this group. read more

Due to construction and traffic I was exactly 10 mins late to my first ever visit with Dr. Hillary Lowenstein for sleep apnea. Everyone I encountered there (the receptionist, the nurse practitioner and Dr. Lowenstein) all gave me attitude about being late, even after I appologized and explained why I was late. As we started talking about my health, I explained that I have chronic lyme disease and that I see a lyme literate ND. Dr. Lowenstein told me that I needed to see a medical professional who specializes in infectious diseases, totally underminding my ND's ability to treat me. I was shocked and frankly just wanted to leave the moment I got there, so I did not explain that infectious disease doctors disregard patients with chronic lyme disease and refuse to treat them (I've been dealing with lyme disease since 2008 and was diagnosed in 2016, so I know a lot more about MY diease than a sleep doctor does). I was then shamed for being on clonazepam, which my old sleep doctor had prescribed years ago for me, and I'm currently working on getting off of it (it's one of the hardest medications to come off of). I take full responsibility for being late (although I did not anticipate construction) but I do not deserve to be treated the way I was while I was there. read more

Dr. Lee has been incredibly helpful, kind and patient dealing with me. She does her job very well, is highly skilled, and treats people with kindness. I think she is a rare gem, and highly recommend. read more

Glad I sought a second opinion elsewhere. After a few months of intense pain in my face, I was referred to Dr. Lee for what my primary care physician initially thought was a stubborn sinus infection. Even though my symptoms did not match, Dr. Lee performed a number of expensive and unnecessary tests, including a CT scan. When the CT scan indicated the problem was not sinus related, she dismissed my symptoms as psychosomatic and attempted to write me a prescription for antidepressants. After following up again with my primary care doc, I was referred to a neurologist, who diagnosed me with a condition that will require neurosurgery. read more

I was referred to Dr Chan for a nasal issue back in 2017. Not only did I end up having nasal surgery ( I can finally breathe for the first time in years!!), but ended up getting a Baha hearing device as well from Dr Maslan. Between Dr Still (audiologist), Dr Maslan (ear), and Dr Chan (nasal), I can not tell you how happy I am with this practice and these doctors!!! I feel like a new person, being able to breathe and hear again for the first time in 30 years!! They all took the time to look at my individual needs and concerns and adapted the appropriate fix for what I needed. They are all knowledgeable in their individual fields, and experts are what they do. I could not be more pleased. Not to mention that they are all there under one roof!!! I have always found the office and nursing staff to be responsive to my needs as well!! They have all been great!! I highly recommend Mt Scott ENT!!! read more

Saw Dr. Lee and wish I had read these reviews, the bad ones are right on. She would not listen, said I could learn to live with a cpap machine acknowledged there are alternatives but would not tell me what they were. wouldn't let me get tested for allergies, just said go get some alegra, Im not sure what the value of the appointment was, oh and tho I can get a sleep study, I cannot get one right now -they're not available. Could the staff not have told me that so I could avoid wasting my time?? This was a waste of time and money. Do not go here. read more

I am sorry that my primary care physician referred me to this office to see Dr. Lowenstein, the sleep medicine provider at Mt. Scott ENT. I had one of the worst experiences that I have had with any medical office. Quite honestly I wanted to walk out when the doctor continued to say how much I needed a CPAP machine and that alternative treatments would not be considered. I believe her mind was already made up before I even came into the office. I am intolerant of CPAP machines and have a well documented evidence as proof. But the doctor persisted to pitch machines to me. On a subsequent appointment the conversation switched to dental devices that are used in the treatment of sleep apnea. The only challenge was the dental provider who I was referred to took an incredibly long time to determine that my co-pay costs were going to be $2000. I had already spent enough time waiting and it was only after I contacted the provider did they even begin to work on the claim. How incredibly unprofessional! I needed to know sooner than that so that I could make other arrangements. Very sad way to run an office. I am not returning. read more

I am in Oregon for the summer. I developed an ulcer on my tongue. I went to a walk in clinic. The doctor referred me to an ENT in Hood River. One doctor couldn't see me until July and the other until June 18. My husband called Advent Medical Clinic. They referred me to Dr Lee at Mt Scott ENT. Dr Lee was able to see me 2 days later. The office staff was friendly. Tiffany who assisted Dr Lee was friendly and took time to chat with us. Dr Lee was very prompt. In fact she saw me earlier than my scheduled appointment time. I needed a biopsy which she did then. I am very pleased with Dr Lee and the entire staff at Mt Scott ENT. read more

I went into this ENT to get help with TMJ. Made sure the provider saw people for TMJ. Went into the appointment and I don't think Dr James Chan said two words the whole appointment! No help WHATSOEVER!! The I get a bill in the mail and I'm being charged $393.00! I received absolutely NO help! I wouldn't recommend this place if you need an ENT!! Big thumbs down!!! read more

My experience with Mt. Scott ENT clinic was informative and enjoyable. Dr. Roberts performed a thorough exam of my nasopharynx and explained my symptoms, telling me the difference between inflamed tissue and malignant tissue, which relieved me. I'd had an episode of bringing up blood in my mouth spontaneously, so my primary doctor referred me for an ENT consul. I'm very pleased with the level of professionalism and respect I received from the time I checked in with Mt. Scott ENT until leaving. read more

Went here to get therapy. First appointment went ok besides sitting there for almost an hour before anyone did anything. Had about 10 minutes of actual therapy. Second visit.... the person without even looking at the paperwork told me to take off my pants and get on the table, I should tell you that I'm there for shoulder therapy. I noticed way to many patients there to actually receive any actual therapy. Ok... the third visit they again got the injured area wrong and again to many patients. The main therapist actually spent about 15 minutes in about 5 visits before I got up and left. What a scam this was. I'm actually receiving real therapy on the right area now that I left there. I would highly recommend some place else if you want actual therapy. read more

Horrible health care. I went there as a new patient. I was having continual sinus drip. I gave them a sample and asked the Dr to call me with results. That never happened. When I wouldn't pay out of pocket for a ct scan he wouldn't call back or treat me. Then they charged almost $1800 to my insurance and me. For what. NOTHING but looking up my nose. This place is a rip off. Called to see about picking up some new equipment but told needed tk make an appointment first and if my information was current, which it was not including a change of address and insurance company. Filled out new forms and gave them my new insurance ID. Went in for my appointment which lasred about 10 minutes and asked for a new mask, hose, filters and headband. Told equipment would be sent out. Two months no equipment called given run around and told equipment would be sent out. It has been 5 months and was finally able to be in contact with someone that told me the clinic does not accept my insurance carrier and my information would be forwarded on to a clinic that did accept my insurance. But Mt Scott did bill my carrier $300 for a 10 minute office visit and hit me for a copay even though they knew I would have to make another appointment with a clinic that did accept my insurance before I could receive my equipment. This clinic does not rate any stars, but had to give them one. read more

Although Dr. Lowenstien seems very nice, the office staff leaves a little to be desired. I was scheduled for a sleep study on a Fri eve, but they called me Tues to see if I could change it to Sat. Okay - no biggie. The problem is, I received nothing in the way of what to bring, how to prepare, etc. I showed up a little after 8 to find the door was locked, and I had no way to get a hold of anyone. Another woman showed up, and she at least had a packet, but did not have the code to get in the door. I finally called the answering service and explained what was going on. She told me she'd call me back in 30(!) min to let me know what to do. She did call me back fairly quickly, but by that time, we had been standing out in the cold, wet, and rain for close to 30 min. Honestly, I was livid! There was no way I was going to sleep by that point, so when I went upstairs, I told the technician I was going home. They had better not try to charge me for the "missed" appointment, as I received NOTHING in the way of information. read more
