The kind that reminds you why places like this matter, especially when you're out there trying to help and stay grounded at the same time. The hospitality hit different. Conversations turned into connections, and before we knew it, we were getting names of people in the area who could use a hand. Her attitude and emotional regulation were so poor, she quickly escalated and started threatening to call the police because it was "private property" after I told her she could have just calmly told us paying customers to leave. Woodland Center is available to fill up our needs at that time. Bandit got a hot coffee and I got soda. Basically it is a gas station with a convenient store where you can buy something along the road. They even got ramen cup noodles and some Filipino treats. For sure they have something to offer for anybody. Staffs are just okay. The convenient store aren't that busy and the gas station are flowing moderately. I first discovered Minit Stop on Maui, as my coworker told me about Minit Stop, and how good the Frrrrrrried Chicken was at this convenience store. Fast forward to the Big Island, and one day while I was driving out to Kapa'au, I noticed a Minit Stop and the way. Since then, several Minit stops have popped up all over the Big Island, and the Minit Stop I went to in Hilo (most recently), I must stay this convenience store was quite spacious, and beautiful. Located just across the street from the KTA Super Store along Puainako, you can easily find this Minit Stop. The Minit Stop convenience store has your standard stuffs like - drinks, fast food & snacks, toiletries and of course their FAMOUS Frrrrrrried Chicken! Stopped in for a 3 piece box, where you get a drumstick & two thighs. With the 3 piece box, you also get some giant deep fried potato wedges. What can say about da grub? For fast food Frrrrrrried Chicken, I list them up there with my favorites like - Popeye's, Pioneer Chicken, Zippy's, & Vons Chicken. Minit Stop version can rival a lot of fast food Chicken joints, as their Frrrrrrried Chicken was on point. Service here was fast & friendly.
