Ivan, the owner, is highly experienced, extremely talented, very professional, and is well equipped... the entire job was completed in 4 days included demolition, leveling, gravel bed, compacting wire mesh reinforcement and concrete pouring, smoothing and sealing. I had seen another driveway he had recently done in our neighborhood which was beautiful and even so, I was overwhelmed with the quality of the work, the absolute professionalism and the willing accommodation to add little extras here and there after the original bid, without extra charge. All in all I highly recommend Chable's Concrete. Already several of our neighbors have asked him for a bid to redo their driveways.

I waited a few days and then contacted him. "Oh - family emergency, we will start next week." Next week comes by and still no one comes. I wait a few days again and contact him again. "Oh - I injured my foot - next week for sure." I wait for the next week and again no one shows up. I wait a few days and contact him. "Oh - my foot is still injured - but next week for sure." Guess what - he did not show up the next week and then just stopped responding to my texts. I understand that delays come up but why is it my responsibility to have to repeatedly contact him when no one shows up on the scheduled date again and again? If something comes up, LET ME KNOW! And if you don't want to do it, LET ME KNOW! After a month of having my texts ignored, we gave up on him and contracted with the city to do the repair.

Also was having a vinyl chain link fence to divide yard installed by them. Started on time, workers did the brickwork and turf well. Great employees. Then Tom showed up saying "my fence guy wants to do a wood/wire fence instead...he says it will still match your existing fence." I asked about price adjustment, he said it was more expensive but he wouldn't charge anything. This was a horrible decision. Fence looks like a middle school project. It took me a month to finally get Tom (owner) to come out. Stain was not complete, rough cuts were left as-is, latch didn't latch. When he finally came out, he had a ton of excuses. He "fixed" the latch by inserting a piece of wire to jimmy the latch. Told my wife that "the stain just looks different in the sun and it's completely stained (it's not). Told her the rough cuts and ripped/frayed edges were normal (I was out of town). I asked him to come back when I was home, it took almost two weeks to get him back. He told me the same, when I confronted him about the wire piece "fix" he said "not me". Said rough cuts/frays "can be filed but will change the look of the fence". I told him I wanted the fence re-stained and to have his office contact me with a date so I could be home. That was 2 months ago. I'm simply chalking it up to "shame on me for this choice" and doing the fix myself.

They build a deck with the wrong materials, the Trex was so old it should have never been reused. The screws weren't correct and the spindles were to wide and not long enough. In the wind, some of the spindles weren't attached and they bang in the wind.They are a safety hazard because babies could crawl under and thru them to their death on the big rocks below which is about a 12 foot drop. They also didn't attach braces under the deck so it can easily fall down. The concrete patio they poured under the deck cracked from one end to the other in less than a week. We could only sue for the amount we paid them. After paying the lawyer to deal with them, we had less than 10k left. It's going to cost over 42k to remove and replace everything. Hire them at your own risk!!!!
