Vai and his crew did a first class job . From start to finish I was kept informed. I was given a very fair price . I couldn't be more pleased. Highly Recommend !

Driveway replacement and retaining wall. Vai and his crew did an amazing job for us. Our old driveway had low spots, which was causing drainage issues around the house and garage. I found Vai on Yelp and he responded quickly. The job was big and had some subtle, but complicated, drainage slopes to think through. He was very reasonable with his price, and stuck to his original estimate. Vai is dependable, cordial, and very talented. I would HIGHLY recommend.

Vai and his crew did an excellent job replacing a section of driveway and sidewalk and pouring a 14' X 34' patio. Everything from the framing to the finish work was top notch! Could not be happier.

Sidewalk after replacement

Contacted them on Yelp and got a quote in a couple days. They were able to use the photos of the concrete sidewalk repair to help figure out the simplest solution and came up with a slab repair far under my original estimated cost. After a quick 2-day job we've got our sidewalk perfectly flat and the neighbors are happy too! Even kept watch while the concrete was drying to make sure it wasn't disturbed.

Echoing all the positive reviews of H2Oregon. Vai and the crew did a great job replacing our front stairs and driveway. Excellent price, and they did excellent work (I got at least 5 estimates, and they were all over the place). On top of it all, they were able to start within days of providing the estimate. Vai was great with communication and adaptable when we needed to adjust the project. Our old steps (see pic) were kind of treacherous to begin with, and when the lips started to crumble after the last ice storm, we knew it was time to replace them. The new steps are actually deeper now, and feel easier to walk down. I will definitely be calling on Vai for any future concrete work. Thanks for a job well done! Malo 'aupito!

Brushed finish. Old and new joints match

Concrete Driveway Repair Our existing exposed aggregate driveway had been degrading for years. Vai listened well to our needs, and suggested cut and match to some of the old concrete. His timely proposal was clear and detailed (including rebar, quality of concrete, brushed finish, expansion joints). Price near to another bidder's proposal. With a window in his schedule, work began within a week. Job size was about 660 square feet. The demo, compacted gravel were completed in one day. The pour completed the following day! WOW. Very efficient crew. Respectful of neighborhood. Impeccable workmanship.

Vai and his team did a fantastic job on our patio and hot tub pad. Vai was communicative and did great finish work. Also was able to work around the hot weather we had this past week to push the concrete pour back a few days. Great overall experience and I would recommend for any residential concrete project.

Stone pattern pressed and dyed concrete patio.

Vai and his team were great to work with. They have fair prices and the outcome was fantastic! We highly recommend H2Oregon Concrete.

Wow, we are so glad we found Vai. He and his crew did an amazing job with tearing out our old driveway, forming and pouring our new driveway and RV pad. Such a hard-working crew that was conscientious and courteous. The price was fair as well. Great communications. Thank you Vai! I will recommend H2Oregon Concrete any chance I get.

Terrible finished product, at twice the bidded price…read more Upon calling Joe for a bid, he requested the address so he could come out and look at the site before bidding it. (The work site was accessible from the alley so we we didn't need to be home for him to review it). A week later, I texted and asked if he'd been by, and if he had any questions. He sent a bid, which was lower than others and we booked him for the work. On the day of, Joe announced that he was charging us twice as much because he didn't know there was any demo/paver removal involved- which he would know if he'd looked at the site before bidding the project. We were frustrated but agreed because the timing was critical for the next phase of our project. The bid was for 8" deep, with rebar. I came out when he was 1/3 of the way into the pour to discover Joe was pouring 2"-6" deep, with no rebar. When I questioned him, he flatly lied and said it was 8" depth until I offered to get a measuring tape, at which point he admitted it wasn't. He then tried to pour using our uneven pavers as the form. When confronted he noted he'd use an even edge- we afterward discovered he used lumber from our property for framing the pour. There are so many more issues, I wont outline them all. The end result cost twice as much as originally bid, and may need to be jackhammered out so that it can be poured correctly.

The old driveway was removed on Friday. On Monday the forms and rebar was installed. Then the cement truck arrived and the concrete was spread evenly 6 inches deep. The surface was smoothed out evenly. Then, Coca-Cola was sprayed over the surface which prevented the top layer of cement to harden. Later in the day, Joe returned and washed the top layer of concrete away exposing the aggregate. The finished product looked exactly as Joe said it would.

The overall process was not as smooth as we expected from System Pavers given its name and pricing tier. There were several miscommunications and/or mistakes that we had to catch and bring up ourselves (sometimes repeatedly), which was disappointing and stressful. However, at the end of the day, everything did get addressed to our satisfaction and for that, we're thankful for the team we had.

I was able to schedule a free consultation on their website the next week and had Dan come by. I am a pretty indecisive person but Dan did an amazing job taking my vision and helping it come to life. The estimate was done the same day, I felt some pressure to sign the deal that day but negotiated what I thought was fair. I was originally told a time frame 1-2 weeks earlier than what happened, which is one of the reasons why this is losing a star. Eric, the construction manager, came by with Dan a few weeks later to do an initial construction walk through and he also suggested adding another level/ stairs and helped me figure out a drain situation. I appreciated the feedback and ideas. Overall, both Dan and Eric went the extra mile and were responsive when I reached out. The week of construction, communication on when they were coming, progress, etc could have been better from the Crew itself but it is a sub-contractor.. (which is the other reason for one less star). The team worked hard in 80+ degree heat 5 days in a row, were very polite to me and the job was done quickly. Eric did a final walkthrough with me and I pointed out a couple minor flaws and they were quickly repaired the following week to my satisfaction. Overall, I recommend this company as they back up their product and have a good warranty. It is pricey, yes, but I believe this is a good investment and I have really loved spending time in my new yard. Thanks!

After this unexpected remodel and damage was exposed we had a delay of several months to get on their schedule. When the project date arrived, they showed up on time, cleaned well after the demolition/addition of interior floors to allow drainage and a sump-pump. My original review (4 star due to not adjusting the cost when less product was used) they owned the mistake and recognized their communication gaps. I do appreciate that attention and feel more confident in the company. I look forward to many years of DRY basement/master bedroom living.

So, this summer, we decided to move forward with the plan to be "soakin' for the holidays" three months away. The only thing standing in the way of that dream: the slab and its neighbor had sunk a few extra degrees, roughly three inches, at the far edge. We were going to need to shore up and permanently stabilize this slab if our hopes of the (3-ton when filled) tub were going to materialize. I made a quick call to Terra Firma and they had an estimator out within a few days. The pricing was reasonable and had the standard 50% up front 50% when complete-type contract. Casey arrived spot-on at 8:00am yesterday morning and began doing his magic (the process involves boring 1/2" holes through the slab, then using high pressure and heat to inject a molten expanding foam under the slab.) The foam is rated to support about 5 tons (10,000 pounds) per pound of foam material, and....100 pounds later that whole slab is back to following the prescribed slope perfectly, raising almost three inches on the sunken side. He did a great job and was a great rep for the company, explaining what little was left to explain. He kept me up on the status of the (4-hour) job as he went along--because our slabs had previously cracked, he had to gently lift it up in small sections so as to not have the sections separate further. Perfect job. 24 hours later and the patched holes have dried to almost-invisible (see photos). Unless you know what you're looking for, you can't even really see that repairs were made. Now I just need to fill in the pre-existing cracks with concrete patching caulk and we're ready to schedule the hot tub delivery! Yippee! Thanks Terra Firma!
