Arsenije is the definition of reliable and extremely trustworthy--he is quite literally the type of person you feel entirely comfortable handing a house key to, knowing he has your absolute best interests at heart. He is incredibly punctual, showing up exactly when he says he will. What sets Arsenije apart is his honesty and attention to detail. If a hurdle came up, he was upfront about it immediately and already had a plan to fix it. His pride of workmanship is unmatched; if something doesn't look perfect, he usually catches and corrects it before you even notice. We wanted the work done quickly before any mold could develop. Even though it was a Sunday, which I thought might make things difficult, the owner, Eddie, came out right away. After meeting him, I decided to move forward with their company. They immediately began a full drying process in all the affected areas. After three days, they confirmed everything was completely dry through testing and then proceeded with the repairs. The entire process was completed much faster than I expected. My realtor brought them in as we were checking some basement floor tiles for asbestos. Looking to…read morepurchase the home, so time was of the essence. I authorized the $150 fee to have some tiles pulled and tested; the D&S employee said we'd have results the next day. When we didn't have results the next day we discovered it was because D&S hadn't submitted anything for testing yet. They were waiting for me to pay an invoice that I had not yet received...to say nothing of the fact that their employee never said anything about pre-payment (otherwise my realtor would have given him a check on the spot). Since they don't take credit cards I can't just pay them over the phone. Now I am going to have to take a half day off of work to get to D&S offices before they close at 5PM so I can pay them. They are charging me over three times what the lab actually costs to do the testing (I know of a lab in Parsippany that will do the test for ~ $20/sample X 2 samples). When using D&S seemed like the quick, convenient option, that was worth the extra expense. Now? Notsomuch. I will still use them for the testing, as it will still be the quickest option for me, but I have serious doubts about whether I would employ such a company for any further work (such as the actual remediation should the tiles come out positive). My realtor, on the other hand, is PISSED!!! I'm pretty sure D&S will not be getting much future business from the realtors in her circle again.
