Absolutely terrible customer service and unbelievably greedy business practices. This laundromat destroyed my children's clothes and instead of apologizing or trying to fix the situation, they immediately became rude, defensive, and disrespectful. Their response was basically "call the police, we are waiting," which tells you everything you need to know about how they treat customers. Everything with them comes down to money and greed. There's no care, no accountability, and no professionalism -- just arrogance and a complete lack of empathy, even when children's belongings are involved. They act like customers are inconveniences instead of the people keeping their business alive. Businesses like this don't fail because of competition -- they fail because of terrible attitudes, greed, and horrible customer service. Word spreads fast, and eventually people stop supporting places that treat customers this badly. I would never trust them with another piece of clothing again. read more

Just moved down to the area and they have a very nice staff, clean area, affordable prices for different washer machines and dryers. Definitely worth the visit and would recommend it for anyone looking to wash their clothes in. read more

Clean laundromat, tables in the center for folding and about 12 rolling carts to move your washed load to dryers. Most of the washers are $3.50 a load, while the larger washers for bigger items such as comforters are $4.50. There are a few washers that are $6 and they may be better to use especially for those heavy, thick, king size comforters. The taller machines have a step still in top so you are able to put in your detergent/softeners and coins if you're on the short side. The dryers are .25 for 6 minutes, which I may end up using a dryer today because my dryer at home takes forever to dry blankets. Came today to wash a sleeping bag since I couldn't haul our king size comforter with me today. Each folding table has 2 chairs to sit and relax while folding. Two different flat screens one with news and another with Spanish tv. Laundromat is COIN OPERATED!! I searched for one because all the others seem to make you buy a card and preload money in them. What a rip off! Unless you have a ton of laundry you plan to do all at once I get why they do it. But for those who just need to wash small loads or one item, coin operated is the way to go. I will be coming back again to finish up my larger items. Best to come as soon as they open so you can get in start your loads and be done before the crowds come through! read more

Whenever the seasons change, I like to go all out and wash practically everything I own. Some things that really matter to me in a laundromat: 1. Coin operated- So many laundromats around town have a laundry card system (i.e. Speedy) where you deposit money into their card and sometimes it mysteriously eats up your money. I appreciate the old-fashioned coin operating laundromats. (You can always use their change machine or ask one of the staff members to break bills) 2. Clean and brightly lit- it's not a sketchy laundromat. Whenever I go on my spring cleanings, I typically go alone so having the laundromat be clean and safe is super important to me. Also, one of the ladies working there is always cleaning if she's not helping a customer! 3. Affordable prices- it's one of the cheaper ones in Gaithersburg. Definitely will continue to accomplish my massive cleaning spree here! read more

Nice place that has a fair number of bigger machines to handle king-sized bedding and other "extra" stuff that doesn't fit into the average home appliances. Place was clean, and I got in and out quicker than I thought I would. The wash and dryer cycles are quite fast - especially the dryers which I expected to take a LOT of time because of how thick my bedding was. I think because there is lots of room for the stuff to tumble without being over-stuffed actually dries everything a lot quicker and without "damp spots" that you can get when you over-stuff the dryer. They will make change for you if you don't have enough - so I went through all my pockets and couches for nothing! I took my own pods and dryer sheets, so I'm not sure what facilities there are for people who don't bring their own. There is a bathroom for staff/guests, and there are plenty of folding tables and seats. They offered to do my wash for me, but it would have been more than twice the price of doing it myself so I made myself comfortable and settled in with a magazine I brought along to keep me company. read more

We normally wouldn't need a laundromat, but because our house is under renovations, we don't have a washer and dryer right now. We have been using muddy branch Laundromat to actually wash and fold our clothes. They take care of our whole family's laundry and wash and fold everything very neatly and we get our laundry back either on the same day, or by the next day! We are so impressed! I may never go back to doing my own laundry again! read more

Little hole in the wall, several washers "out of service ". Not many carts, none available for me to use. Some were standing alone with clothes in them but no one seemed to own them. The Speedy Laundromat in Gaithersburg is heaven compared to this place. read more

There are couple laundromats in the area - after trying most of them, I find I like this laundromat the best. This place may not be the biggest, but they have numerous machines and I never had to wait to use a machine. Out of all the laundromats in the area, this one seems like it is the cheapest. Other stores will advertise that the dryer is free, but the cost to use their washer is much more expensive. Though you have to pay to use the dryer here ($0.25 for 7 minutes), I find that I end up spending less here in general. Lastly, I love the fact that this place is a COIN laundromat. All the other places, you have to purchase a plastic card that you can reload money on; if you do not use the full balance on that plastic card, you can't get your money back. Here, you can get change for quarters and you get to keep whatever you don't use. (They will even convert it back to paper bills for you.) The only downside is that they do not accept credit/debit cards, but there are plenty of ATMs in that shopping center anyway. The lady that works there is super nice and she will instruct you on how to use the machines. If your washing machine ever breaks down or if you just need to use a bigger machine for your blankets, I would highly highly recommend this place. read more

After trying all the laundromats in the gaithersburg area, this one has far been my favorite. It is the smallest one out of the other ones in this area, but it's the easiest to use. The other laundromats in this area depend too much on self service. They use laundry cards (that cost money to buy, which is ridiculous because you're paying for a card to put money on it to do laundry) which can get pretty confusing to use. This laundromat has a worker available at all times. The worker gives you change for quarters (this is a coin laundry), which kinda assures you get the service you pay for, unlike the other card-based laundry. Technological advances are cool, but I still prefer to do my laundry at a coin-based laundromat. I have so much trouble with the cards at other laundromats! They also charge so much more. The prices at this laundromat are very reasonable, and I found to be cheaper than the other ones in the neighborhood. The lady that owns the place is very nice, and always gave my daughters little snacks every time we come in! Highly recommended if you are looking for a laundromat. read more

This is a Wonderful clean inexpensive affordable friendly laundromat! The washers are great and the dryers get good and hot! It is coin operated, so you pay for only what you need to wash & dry! The location is perfect because the family dollar is in the same shopping center and Giant is only 2 lights down the street. The staff here are helpful, very patient and their wash & fold service is top notch! I Like this laundromat so much, I bring extra clothes to wash, just to socialize with the staff and community members. Also, the parking is perfect! Many large parking spaces right in front of the door and there are plenty of carts and different size baskets for hauling clothes in and out. Also, there is a private security service that does community patrolling and walks the shopping center to ensure customer's safety! I give this place five stars for location, service, cleanliness, affordability and ease of use! I will be a customer as long as they operate! read more
