Their response was basically "call the police, we are waiting," which tells you everything you need to know about how they treat customers. Everything with them comes down to money and greed. There's no care, no accountability, and no professionalism -- just arrogance and a complete lack of empathy, even when children's belongings are involved. They act like customers are inconveniences instead of the people keeping their business alive. Businesses like this don't fail because of competition -- they fail because of terrible attitudes, greed, and horrible customer service. Word spreads fast, and eventually people stop supporting places that treat customers this badly. I would never trust them with another piece of clothing again.

My friend put up an ad for a room that he rents. The 2 female employees saw his number on the ad; they called him from the Speedy laundromat phone number and harassed him and told him to never put an ad on the board. They yelled and threatened to put any ad of his in the trash can. They only want to keep the ads that belong to their friends on the board. Those 2 female employees, instead of working are always on their cellphones. They are both rude, mean and very demanding, all they do is look at their cellphones. This laundromat needs to hire people who have a little bit of common sense and honesty. Instead of hiring employees that are horrible and disrespectful. My friend blocked the Speedy Laundromat phone number on his phone to stop the 2 female employees from calling him and harassing him again. One has a Spanish channel, one currently is set to the SyFy Channel. Volume levels are excellent! Couldn't be better. *Washing machines and dryers appear well maintained. Very easy to figure out and use. Very speedy. *Detergent can be purchased, though I'm not sure of the prices. Considering the value of this place thus far, I'd be very surprised if the price were even moderately unreasonable. *Vending machines on site - well maintained. *Folding tables (x4) at the front of the store. One has almost been constantly used by employees to fold laundry for customers. The other three have remained open for at least the past 2 hours. *Standard metal laundry push-carts on site. So in the meantime I looked up a Laundromat near me in Gaithersburg that had good reviews. Well this spot is all the hype it has gotten. Wendy showed me around and explained how each machine worked, how long the cycles were, and how to pay with the card system they have. The cards are very similar to a metro card where you can refill the money every time you need to. They have small, medium and large machines that can accommodate even the largest quilt or comforter. The dryers are all huge and hold all of your items in one machine. This facility is very clean, even the bathrooms! I give this business 7 stars and recommend anyone who needs to get their laundry done to come here.

Example - while washing, someone outside chose to sit on the hood of my car. -The owner (very friendly once there!) exchanged my dollars for quarters - helpful because other laundromats wouldn't do this for me. -Variety of regular and extra large industrial size machines. The large machines were big enough for my futon cover and would work for a large comforter. Once you get over the neighborhood, the laundromat is clean inside and does the trick. The staff will help you unload your car, help you load your stuff into the machines, help you transfer your stuff to the dryers and help you fold it when done, all without being asked. They will put your cash in the change machines and get your quarters for you too. I've been bringing my bed comforters here to wash them for 14 years now and this is the way it always is with any attendant here. What the place lacks in finesse, they make up for it with customers service.
